ction, and most importantly their musical talent. So many guests at our wedding came up to say they were the best wedding band they had ever seen. We also had some interactions with various members of the band and crew and they were all so fun and kind to talk to off the stage. Even the sound guy was a crowd favorite, jamming out with all the guests while still keeping everything going well. They learned our requested songs seamlessly, and were wonderfully accommodating in adjusting just as we needed! One of our favorite parts was when the band went into a slew of punk songs from our era and even brought us on stage. It truly was an amazing experience that we will never forget!

Their manager explained how they’re known for top 40 and modern music, so we asked them to play oldies earlier in the night and switch to all modern music as the night went on. Both my friend and my planner asked them during the evening to switch…and they played Brown Eyed Girl right after *face palm*. We had less than ten out of their hundreds of songs that were “do not play” songs and of course they played Blurred Lines. I mean really…that song is cancelled guys and for good reason. I was honestly embarrassed and I noticed the dance floor clearing out. Anyway, may be less chill than me in the lead up and be more demanding so they actually follow requests?

the house! The biggest reason to book Nightsong is the energy, music quality and stage presence. Their three lead singers are superstars. They were engaging, talented, and kept the party going all night long. In particular, the emcee was funny, quick on his feet and made the night go incredibly smooth. At multiple points during our wedding, singers and trumpet players came down to jam on the dance floor with us and our guests loved it! Our guests kept commenting to us things like "best band I've ever seen", "do you know if they travel for gigs?", "that was better than a concert", "the band was amazing" etc. Nightsong has great musical range and performed “Beautiful, Crazy” by Luke Combs for our first dance and “Forever Young” by Rod Stewart as a Mother-Son dance. They were spot on. During one of their sets, they played a recently released top hip (by Olivia Rodrigo) all our friends went wild. The dance floor was packed the entire night and people kept mentioning that they wished the wedding went longer. We could really not be happier with how the entire evening went. Huge props to Nightsong. Worth every penny. You can stop searching for bands, Nightsong is the band for your wedding.

1 piece band. The singers were amazing and I heard there was a cowbell somewhere during a song. The guests stayed on the dance floor and there was never a lull. Had a continuous 2 hour set to close out the evening. Perfect band for a perfect wedding.

He kept the night moving along at the perfect pace so we were able to include all of the important dances and toasts, but also had time to dance and party! Free Spirit even went above and beyond to learn a Bruce Springsteen song - it was a truly special moment with my Dad and I that I will never forget! Please pick Nightsong if you want an unforgettable evening!! Bennett made the entire event, so easy for my wife and me, calling us, making us feel at ease. Once again, they were the best band that we have ever heard, and will be booking them for our children's weddings in 2048! D & H

to be one of the best decisions we could have made for our wedding. They were absolutely amazing!!! We had so many people come up to us the next morning and say that they were one of the best wedding bands they had ever heard. My uncle told me the next morning that he didn't realize they were a live band at first (he was seated behind a column and didn't have a good view of the stage area). It wasn't until my aunt told him that it was a band that he realized that it wasn't a DJ playing the original song. They played mostly classic rock, motown, funk, some pop, just good music that had everyone dancing the entire night. If you want a great band that plays great music and can engage with your guests, then I highly recommend hiring Nightsong!!

ched out to see if our date was available. From the beginning Peter and Mike were extremely communicative and helpful with all of our questions. They even invited us to come watch them perform at another couple’s wedding so we could be sure we wanted to book them. They are so much better live than any of their videos. About a month before our wedding, we spoke with the band about the types of music that we would like to have and any other special songs we would like to have played. Free Spirit learned three songs for us for our first dance, father-daughter dance, and mother-son dance. It was incredibly special to have live performances of our favorite songs. On the night of our wedding, the band played a short dance set before dinner and it set the stage for the rest of the evening. From the first song to the last song, the dance floor was packed….Just what we wanted. Keep in mind this band is very good at what they do and read the crowd as to what music to play. So if you are expecting to tell them every single song to play, this is not the band for you. My ONE complaint is that I had asked for one song to be played as it had special meaning to my college friends. It was on their song list and they said they could play it. On the night of the wedding we were nearing the end of the evening and they had not played it. I asked the band to play it and they responded rather rudely that they did not despite having discussed it ahead of time and without any reason as to why they could not play it. Again this is my one complaint, Free Spirit was fantastic otherwise. Since the wedding, I have talked to several friends and family members who have raved about the band and said it was the best they have ever heard. If you want to have a big, upbeat party for your wedding with a packed dance floor, look no further this is your band.

beyond accommodating. We even changed our first dance the week before and they not only learned the song, but completely nailed it. We had tons of people asking us who the band was and saying they wanted to book them for their weddings. My cousin even said she didn't care if she could afford food at her wedding but she would make sure she had this band. But my favorite thing about Free Spirit was that the singers came on to the dance floor and even handed my the mic for part of a few songs!! They were seriously worth every penny.

We LOVED their rendition of our first dance song, it was absolutely perfection! Our ceremony music took my breath away. Mike Ostrow was so sweet and accommodating from start to finish, he truly made me feel special. He answered all my questions thoroughly and honored my requests whenever possible. I am genuinely amazed by how sweet, talented, and professional Free Spirit is. I cannot recommend them enthusiastically enough - you absolutely CANNOT go wrong with Free Spirit, they are known as the best in Washington DC for good reason - they DO NOT disappoint!

they can almost certainly do it. They learned an unusual song for our first dance for no charge and had people up dancing the ENTIRE NIGHT. The dance floor was always full and people were even dancing next to the dance floor. Their musical style is great and they are so fun. A few times in the night the brass people went upstairs and played from the balconies in the Mayflower. it was such a fun surprise and really cool effect. We had several compliments on them and I'm so glad they were our musicians.

The music they put on during their dinner break seemed to be a CD with music from performers we had said that we liked. It was very appropriate. They performed very upbeat music. What they had time to play was great. They made good choices. The band leader connected with us before the reception just to check in. I have no complaints about Jukeboxx. Their price was pretty reasonable. There were 10 of them. We paid $5500 for 4 hours. We got alot of compliments from our guests about them.

hat most of the songs I requested for the ceremony were not on their list, even though I took them from their list, so I asked them to re-send me the list and almost all of the songs I had listed were on the list. I then asked if it was possible for them to learn two songs (one is my now husbands FAVORITE song and he is really into music and was dying to walk down the aisle to) - they completely butchered the song. We would have rather them not agree to learn the song if they weren't going to spend the time to learn it properly. If you didn't know what the song was you would never have been able to recognize. They also stopped abruptly in between songs and there was a lack of flow. To be honest- I don't think many of the other guests noticed this because they were watching people walk down the aisle, but as the perfectionist bride waiting in the wings, I couldn't wait to walk down the aisle so I didn't have to listen to them play anymore. They were also supposed to provide music prior to the reception which they did not do properly. Fortunately this did not ruin the evening and we still had the best wedding.

He was available via phone and email, and was able to accommodate all of my requests - including playing 'I Gotta Feelin' multiple times throughout the reception. They are slightly more expensive than other bands in the area, however they are the BEST! Our wedding was on a Sunday evening and typically people leave early or aren't as active at the party. Our dance floor was packed til the very end. I could go on and on about how great they are!
