At my first wedding, I hired hair by Andrea to only do hair and makeup for myself as the bride, and decided to do it at her salon, Euphoria hair gallery. I had booked my apt 6 months in advance and spoke to Andrea many times that week, including the day before the wedding. Somehow despite that, when I arrived at the salon for my appt on time, Andrea had someone else in her chair and asked me why I came in- she looked like she had completely forgot about me and asked me to sit outside, on the bench outside their studio while they figured it out, ~ 20 min in which I was nervously wondering if I would be on time to my wedding. My hair and makeup looked exactly like my trial, and I liked my trial. However, it didn’t last. In 2021, I only had a 1hr wedding directly after hair and makeup, with lunch afterward. My hair started falling out as soon as we got to lunch- it wasn’t even a windy day. Further, the hairstyle I had was a low bun. I have long hair, but Andrea told me at my trial I can only accomplish the low bun look with an added $50 poof material. So, I had no choice but to purchase the material at my trial- even though I showed her the inspiration pic in advance of the trial, I had no warning of the extra material needed. After my wedding, I had a trial with a different company and showed them the low bun look I was going for, and they did it without the poof material. Due to these reasons, I decided to book a different hair & makeup artist for myself for my 2022 wedding. However, I kept Hair by Andrea for 8 women in my wedding party- because I thought the people who worked at euphoria hair salon during my trial and wedding last year were nice and fun, and I liked the hair and makeup- if it stayed- and- they were half the price of all of the other studios I looked at. For my 2022 wedding, Andrea arranged 4 stylists/ artists for my 8 girls that seemed like plenty. I told her we had a 7:30AM hard end time. She told me she can arrive at 6AM and pull that off. I asked if we could do 5:30AM just in case and she said sure. The stylists/ artists and herself arrived at 5:30AM. They were different stylists than the stylists from the salon last year who said they put my wedding in their calendars, which was fine. I wanted very simple curls for the women in my bridal party. Some curls looked very good from the back, but not from the front, not framing their face well. One women cried the curls were so tight and some going out in weird directions - and she asked for loose curls. With her, they ended up coming back and straightened it, which looked ok, but it wasn’t what she asked for. They didn’t have mirrors, so the women couldn’t see their hair as they were doing it. Further, the bridesmaids curls started to fall out before the ceremony even started, 3 hours. Lastly, despite starting a half hr early of when they wanted to start, they finished ov1hr after the stop time we agreed upon! This meant that we couldn’t do 1hr of morning pictures that we wanted, which was priceless. We had planned to go to 2 picture locations in the morning, and we only got to go to 1 of them.

Andrea was right on time, came prepared with everything she needed, and with a great attitude, even so early in the morning. My hair and makeup stayed flawless all day long! Andrea finished us up around 7:45am and I went on for photos (mostly outside for about an hour), the ceremony (outside for about 20 mins in the heat), a 4 hour reception, and a 4 hour after-party. When looking to book my hair and make-up I contacted quite a few people but Andrea stood out the most. Andrea seemed interested in my own hair and style and asked to see pictures of me etc which I thought was really great rather than a e-mail simply just with a price without knowing much about me which I received from quite a few other stylists. Andrea seemed to show a bit of a personal touch.
When booking from overseas and never meeting the person it can seem a little scary. I couldn't recommend Andrea enough as she is very reliable and has great skill. You can be assured that you can relax and have faith in Andrea for your special day.

This review is long over do. I found Andrea on the vendors tab, after contacting nearly 10 other stylists. My main concern was that I needed someone affordable for my bridesmaids. I also needed a stylist that was willing to work on location,...
and willing to start early to accommodate my day wedding. On top of all that, I needed someone who was amazing (obviously!). I had my trial done 9 months prior to the wedding. My makeup was on point, but I wasn’t totally in love with my hair (mainly because I wasn’t sure exactly what I wanted) but I knew it was only a trial- so I booked that day. She made herself available via text, cell, email- even facebook. It was easy to send her a quick message and stay in touch up until the day of the wedding. On the day of, she arrived at 3:15am ready to go with her assistant. She was totally creative and incorporated a pair of panty hose into my updo since my hair has absolutely no volume. Andrea and her assistant gave all of my bridesmaids beautiful styles with a cohesive look which is exactly what I wanted. She even added leftover flowers from our bouquets to everyone’s hair. Over all, I’m so happy with how my hair and makeup came out, and my bridesmaids were thrilled with their own hair and makeup. Our hair and makeup lasted all day, and all night! I highly recommend her. I guarantee you will look gorgeous on your wedding day when she’s done with you and totally keep you at ease through the wedding day chaos!!

She was very flexible, allowing me to drive from work in the city up to her home salon on a Friday night for our first meeting and hair trial. I brought her photos of an updo and two different half-up styles. She helped me choose the best of the two half-up styles for my hair type and face shape, then demonstrated it perfectly from the photos. She then also did the updo perfectly for no extra charge (at the trial). Initially I had wanted to change from half-up to an updo in between the ceremony and reception, so she was planning to return, but when I changed my mind a few weeks before the wedding she was fine with that.
A few weeks before the wedding I went to her salon for highlights, my first time ever having my hair colored professionally, so I was a bit nervous. I brought photos of the lighter hair I had as a child, and she gave me highlights in almost that exact color, and blended it beautifully so it looked natural. They grew out a bit so I returned a few days before the wedding to fill in my roots, which she again did perfectly. Initially I wanted all 8 of my bridesmaids to choose 1 or 2 hairstyles since they all had slightly different dresses, but they didn’t want that, so I told them to bring pictures the day of the wedding. Some did, but either way their hair all turned out great, and Andrea and her assistant managed to get them all pretty much wearing a variation of 1 or 2 hairstyles anyway, so I ended up with the cohesive look I wanted. Amazingly, my curls were still intact at the end of the night too, which I’ve NEVER gotten from having my hair curled by anyone else, especially with the amount I danced!

ea greeted me with a warm smile and a happy hello. We discussed my hair likes and dislikes and what I wanted my hair to look like for the wedding. I told her how I’ve always wanted to try extensions, but that I had heard horror stories about them. Andrea assured me that those horror stories would not become my reality. She showed me the extensions and added two different types of extensions (fused and bead) to my hair as a trial, so I could get a feel for them. We discussed color and cut, as well as how I would like my hair styled for the wedding. Andrea was able to look at my face shape and determine what style would best suit me. During our introductory meeting I immediately knew that I wanted Andrea to cut, color and style my hair for the wedding. I booked my appointment not only for the day of the wedding, but also for three days prior to the wedding, so I could have a full head of extensions added. I went home with my two extensions in place and a smile on my face. My first appointment for the extensions was fantastic. Andrea was excited to see me and she made the multi-hour process of cutting, coloring and adding extensions feel like only a moment had passed. We discussed my hairstyle for the wedding again and after having a cut, color and the extensions added, I couldn’t wait for the wedding to arrive. Andrea did a superb job! The day of the wedding arrived and Andrea arrived at my house. She styled my hair exactly as we had discussed. I asked her to add a variety of diamond clips to my hair at the last moment, and she was able to add them and make them look like a crown around my head. It was beautiful! My hairstyle lasted all day and night! Not a single piece of hair fell out of place! I would highly recommend Andrea for any of your wedding day hair needs. You will not be disappointed. And for those of you wanting to try extensions, I highly recommend Andrea. I kept my extensions for a couple of months and had a lot of fun with my long locks. I had a bride who had been going through many bumps in the road leading up to her wedding day. This included having her hairstylist and makeup artist flat out quit 3 weeks before her wedding. When in a panic she and her mother called me, I immediately reached out to one person, Andrea. Now this is what the bride said in her post wedding letter to my boss: "She (Andrea) called us that afternoon, and even though she was already booked for that day, she managed to rearrange her schedule so that she could be there for us. Not only that, but her work was superb!"

ls I had not only caked on the makeup that wore off quickly, but charged astronomical fees for the trial. Andrea was far more reasonable with her pricing and I absolutely loved everything about my hair & makeup at my trial. The makeup lasted for HOURS 'til I was ready for bed.
I've since become a consistent client and see her every few weeks. I've had a number of services done by Andrea (color, cut, extensions, spray tan) and have been impressed with every single one of them! One of my favorite things is that Andrea makes it a point to reach out to her clients to make sure they are satisfied with everything, even after they leave the shop. It is not something I have had happen before with prior stylists, so it makes me happy and comfortable that she takes so much pride in her work.
Aside from her fabulous work, she is very friendly and I always look forward to my visit. We chat for a bit, she gives me tips on how to maintain healthy hair and offers up suggestions of what she thinks would look best. She hasn't been wrong yet!

ut exactly what I wanted for hair and make-up and everything came out perfectly on my day. I had a morning wedding and we (me, 6 bridesmaids, my husband's 4 sisters, and 2 moms, total 13 people!!!) had to be ready at 8:30am for pictures. Andrea and her two assistants arrived at my hotel room promptly at 4 O'CLOCK IN THE MORNING. The main reason I picked her is because she would start so early and she also didn't mind traveling 45 minutes to new rochelle. The fact that she gave me exactly what I wanted was a plus. I had a brutally hot outdoor wedding with all pictures taken outside on a blustering 96 degree day. My airbrush make up stayed completely intact from 8am through pictures, a sweaty outdoor ceremony, and a reception and after party with lots of dancing until 4am. My updo also stayed perfectly intact the entire day even through jumping on the beach and laying in the grass for pictures. All of my bridesmaids looked gorgeous as well and they were all very happy with their hair. Andrea is amazing!
