Wow!! Lauren did such an amazing job on my hair!! During our run-through, I showed Lauren a couple of pictures of hair I liked and then she did it exactly how I wanted on the first try. She is quick, but does really beautiful hair. On the day of Lauren was very prompt and professional. She was accommodating when we weren't sure exactly which bridesmaids were getting their hair done and when my photographers needed my hair piece. Lauren just rolled with it. She was great, and I would highly recommend!!

Lauren is incredible! She is so sweet and such an amazing person to work with! My wedding hair lasted for 2 days! My bridesmaids were in love with their hair and could not stop talking about how amazing they looked! She is the best of the best and makes your wedding look complete!

Lauren was fabulous! She accommodated my trial run during a busy time, and was very laid back and easy to work with. She was also very honest in letting me know what would and would not work with my hair. I ended up changing my hairstyle the day of from what we tried at my trial, and she was very open to this. I ended up loving it even more. She did such a great job on me and all my bridesmaids, and I would recommend her ten times over!

The bride, maid of honor and 3 bridesmaids were able to get a similar look and most importantly had the option to customize their individual look based on what was most flattering. Lauren was very patient and accommodating. Highly recommend.

Lauren was incredible! Extremely professional, easy going, prompt, responsive, everything you'd want to be stress free on the day of. And she is incredible with hair! I was so happy with my hair for the wedding (it was even better than the trial run!) and it was so fun for my bridesmaids to get their hair done too. We all felt gorgeous! I couldn't recommend her more!

Lauren is absolutely amazing. With the help of her assistant she was able to do 11 styles in 5 hours and everyone looked fabulous! My bridal hair looked great all night, even after I changed what I wanted at the last second. Lauren is professional, attentive, and very skilled at what she does. I highly recommend Lauren for your wedding.

Lauren was great-- she provided hair services for myself and three bridesmaids. I had decided to change my hairstyle on the big day and Lauren was great about listening to what I wanted and giving honest feedback. In the end, I've never had bigger or curlier hair! Lauren even left me some hairspray just in case. Me and my girls looked fabulous the whole night! Thank you Lauren!!

Lauren is a more than a hair stylist, she is an artist! I met Lauren about 4 years ago when she did my hair for one of my best friend's weddings. My hair had never looked so good and I knew from that moment that when my big day came around I wanted Lauren as my hair stylist. At my hair trails Lauren helped me select a few hair styles that would work best with my hair type and face shape. On the day of my wedding Lauren did 6 of my bridesmaid's hair, my mom's hair, and my hair. And everyone’s hair looked absolutely beautiful! My hair was PERFECT and exactly what I wanted. Lauren is honest, professional, and one of the sweetest people I've ever met. I would recommend Lauren to anyone and everyone who is getting married. She is just the best!!!

Lauren was amazing ! I recent got married at the Mill at Fine Creek on Aug 28 and Lauren did such an incredible job with everyone's hair. She was super flexible and initially was only supposed to do a few girls, but then more and more girls wanted their hair done last minute and Lauren was okay with it. Lauren was absolutely wonderful to work with! She did a fabulous job on my hair, my bridesmaids, as well as the mothers!! I got so many compliments on my hair throughout the evening and it held all night! I highly recommend her to anyone and will use her in the future for any upcoming events!

Lauren is seriously amazing. She managed to combine like 1000 ideas that I had into a beautiful style that I could really only picture in my head and surpassed anything I could have dreamt up! She made my hair look perfect for my wedding and also did a fabulous job with my bridesmaids!

Lauren is excellent at what she does! I booked her and BRIDEface (for makeup) together, and they both worked with me to find a date I could travel to Richmond for my trial. Lauren did my hair exactly like I showed her in a picture I saved from the internet, so it wasn't her fault when I wasn't crazy about my hair after the trial. On the day of my wedding, I told her I had a complete change of heart and wanted my hair totally different from the trial, and she didn't even blink an eye! She agreed this new hairstyle I wanted was better for my dress anyways, and she was able to do it perfectly! My hair looked exactly how I wanted it to look on my wedding day. My ONLY complaint is that the front strand of hair kept falling out all night, so in most of my wedding pictures I have a random chunk of hair that is separated from the rest. But everyone keeps telling me I am the only one who notices :) Lauren also did all my bridesmaids hair (I had 4), plus my mother and mother-in-law. She was able to do 6 ladies + me in only 3ish hours, and they all turned out wonderfully! Everyone looked gorgeous at the wedding - thank you Lauren for doing such a great job!

Lauren is an artist whose medium is hair! She knows exactly how to transform someone from ordinary to picture perfect in a short amount of time. I got her name from a friend of mine whose wedding I attended. I had remarked several times on how gorgeous her hair looked on her wedding day. My initial consultation with her went great, she emailed me later for feedback on how the style held up and based on my comments, she made changes (according to my preferences) on my wedding day. The results were amazing. I got complimented all night, my hair stayed in place after a long day of pre wedding photos, tons of hugs, & lots of dancing. I truly felt like a queen for a day! She traveled to the location where we were getting ready and also worked on my three bridesmaids, my mother in law, and flower girl. (For an additional cost of course but she threw in the flower girl for free!) Lauren is also a professional. She keeps her word, she's prompt and on time (especially important on the day of the wedding) and she's easy going. I enjoyed working with her very much and wish all wedding vendors had the same degree of class that she does. I highly recommend her!

I absolutely loved working with Lauren. She has a calming yet fun energy, and she makes you feel like you're in good hands. I have very thick, long, curly hair, and I was so nervous about finding someone who would know how to work with it well. Lauren was perfect and immediately put me at ease. I showed her a couple of "inspiration photos," even though none of the photos had exactly what I was looking for. But she nailed it and came up with something even better than I had envisioned. For the bridesmaids, I gave her even less guidance - just a few key words - and again she came up with something for each of them that was better than what I had envisioned myself. We had a long day, with an early afternoon ceremony and evening reception. It ended up with a very humid 97-degree day, and while the events were indoors, we spent a lot of time outside taking pictures. And then, of course, we danced all night. But from start to finish, our hair held and looked great at the end of the night - all the while looking soft and natural instead of hard and hairsprayed. Lauren is wonderfully talented and wonderful to have around as you're getting ready. We got a bit off schedule, and she just went with it, acting as a calming influence. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!

I highly recommend Lauren for any Bride. She was professional, caring, dependable, not to mention very easy to work with. Everyone's hair stayed in place, and she fit well in my budget.

Lauren was absolutely fantastic!! From my hair trial to the day of, Lauren was excellent. She not only did an amazing job on my hair, but made my bridesmaids look beautiful! Lauren is so sweet and professional. She does a wonderful job! I loved my hairstyle and it lasted all night. She tells you what she thinks will look the best with your face shape and hair texture if you are unsure of what style you want. She really knows what she is talking about. She can turn a pinterest picture into real life!! I would recommend her to anyone.

Lauren was so great in every way, exceeding my expectations! She was very easy to work with, my 6 Bridesmaids and 2 Mom's all loved their hair, and myself even more so. She did everyone's hair, by herself in about 4, came to the venue with no extra fee.. And best of all everyone's held up really great. Lauren was so easy to work with from the start, I booked her a year in advance, and she stayed very responsive and super friendly the entire year. She is very professional, has a laid back, calm but organized demeanor, and is the MOST talented artist with updos I have ever seen! Event Hair by Lauren is hands-down THE best hairdresser in the area! She knew exactly what I was wanting for my wedding day and executed it with ease. She traveled to my home for my trial run and then to our wedding venue where she perfectly styled each of my girls' hair. We were ALL amazed at her skill! Lauren was personable, fun and easy-going. She even offered to do my flower girl for no extra charge. I wish I were getting married again just have her do my hair again! :) THANK YOU LAUREN!!

I did a hair trial with Lauren before the wedding and immediately knew she was a real pro. I don't have the longest hair but she made it seem like I had the longest hair ever. I immediately booked her for the full bridal party for the day of. Lauren did 4 bridesmaids, myself (the bride), 1 mother, 1 grandmother and 2 aunts all in the span of 4-5 hours. She didn't complain, didn't tire at all and everyone was thrilled with their hair. I received nothing but compliments at the wedding on my hair and my bridesmaids. She was completely professional, efficient and was able to work with literally every type and length of hair. I would highly recommend Lauren and hope to use her again someday!

Lauren did my hair along with 6 of my bridesmaids, flower girl and my mom's. She was very professional and so nice during the entire planning process and on the day of! She arrived early to set up and stayed on schedule with each girl. I have very thick hair and my hair stayed in its updo all night and even the next morning after sleeping on it!

Lauren is an absolute joy to work with. She was flexible with my hair trial location and created the perfect hair style based on only a (not so clear) description by me! :) My hair stayed put PERFECTLY all day the day of my trial (even after horseback riding and walking dogs!) Lauren and her assistant were wonderful to work with. They were flexible in working on-site to do the hair for me and my bridal party, and our hairstyles looked amazing. I can confidently say that's the best my hair has ever looked. They were fast and lovely - and overall I felt it was very affordable for the services. Would highly recommend!

To say that we were pleased with Lauren would be an understatement. Lauren was not only prepared for rack of the six bridesmaids, two flower girls, mother of the bride (opted for a challenging 20's style) and the bride; she helped the mother of the groom look beautiful as well. Lauren was simply amazing. She really knows her craft. The trial went smoothly. She showed up the day of on time and ready to go. In total, she completed Me, 5 bridesmaids, 2 flower girls and 2 mothers. All by herself and with time to spare. I especially loved that my hair was curled but not stiff...I still need to find out what she used!!! She was extremely pleasant and all in all, the entire process was low stress. And the best thing? My hair was beautiful!!!! Thanks Lauren...I intend to recommend her to anyone that asks.

Wow is all I can say for Lauren's services!! She arrived at our Richmond wedding a few minutes early, brought all the supplies, and then gave myself and six Brodesmaids all unique hairstyles. She is very talented, and only half of us knew what we wanted, but, she was patient, and has a calm personality, so that no one was stressed about their hair! Everyone looked AMAZING! I highly recommend Lauren for any Bride, and the makeup artist, Kristin, she helped to set us up with was sweet, professional, and did a fantastic job as well. Thanks Lauren:)

Lauren was amazing with everyone from my cousin who had a very detailed idea of what she wanted to my flower girl who got so shy she didn't barely say a word! Also, at the last minute, my Grandmother, who was not on the list to have her hair done, decided she hated how her hair looked and Lauren fixed it at no charge. She was such a joy to work with!!!

Lauren did a wonderful job on my hair and my three bridesmaids' hair! I found her online, and she was responsive, professional, and friendly by email and in person. I live and got married in DC, so please note that she works with DC clients (on location) as well as in Virginia. Lauren made me feel relaxed throughout the trial and on my wedding day, repeatedly welcomed me to give feedback and incorporated my comments to change my hairstyle a little bit on the big day, and did three totally different, on-the-spot hairstyles for my bridesmaids too. Her rates are very reasonable and her service can't be beat, so I highly recommend her!

I was recently the Maid of Honor in my Best friends wedding,and was VERY nervous about the hair aspect, as the Bride has NEVER liked her hair done in the past, in fact, we were all worried for whoever was styling her hair that day! I was surprised after speaking with the Bride after her trial run, that she was blown away, loved Lauren's relaxing personality, and most of all, her hair! We were all impressed the day of the wedding by Lauren's prompt timing, professionalisim, and everyone's hair looked awesome! I will definitely book Lauren for me and my Bridal party next Fall!
