Weatherford outside of Fort Worth, so lots of our planning had to take place over the phone. Initially, I was nervous about planning most things over the phone, but Sarah and Kim had everything handled and put us completely at ease. Sarah came into town for our site visit with several of our vendors, and handled everything like a true professional. She knew the right questions to ask, and all of our vendors complimented her throughout the wedding planning process. Kim came on board in middle of the summer and couldn't have been better. She was willing to handle last minute texts and any concerns we had up until the wedding day! Hurricane Harvey hit Houston the weekend of our wedding. We were very thankful not to have flooding in North Texas, but the weather was up in the air until the ceremony and we had multiple guests who had to cancel last minute. Sarah, Kim, and their team were ready to execute Plan B if we needed it and handled last minute cancellations without a sweat. It was truly such a perfect night, and we cannot thank this terrific team enough for all of their help! These women are professional, very knowledgable in the industry, and an absolute blast. I can't imagine our big day without them there!

ew how I wanted my wedding day to go, but had no idea how to execute it! That coupled with a short nine month engagement, I knew I needed someone who was knowledgeable, organized, not afraid to tell me "yes" and "no" and above all fun to work with. I received all this and MORE working with the team at Events By Sarah. She kept me organized and on schedule with payments and communications with vendors, and was open and flexible to last minute tweaks and changes...perfect example? Hurricane Harvey. I was one of the fortunate Houston brides. Hurricane Harvey hit two weeks before my fiancé and I were set to say "I Do." Sarah kept me calm and made sure we would still have the wedding of my dreams. Being in contact with each vendor and making sure everything was ready to go. I would not have been able to accomplish everything without her by my side. She is truly a partner and friend during the happiest and most stressful time in your life. Her timelines are AMAZING. I am not sure how we would have pulled off our wedding without her. She met with me two days before the wedding to pick up last minute payments, decorations, and to talk to me about how I was doing and how I was feeling, coupled with being present at our rehearsal and the entire wedding day. When we arrived at the reception space I was blown away, it surpassed any vision I had in my head. Every detail was carried out flawlessly. She made sure the reception moved smoothly and stayed on schedule, made sure me, my husband, and the hosts my parents always knew what was happening and when. I can't thank her enough for all of her hard work and dedication to the happiest day of my life. Best decision I ever made!

She's everything you could want in a planner: on top of timelines, confident, attentive and detail driven. I was able to rest easy our wedding day feeling safe in Sarah's hands. She's knowledgeable about the industry, suggests vendors that are in line with your aesthetic and budget and has great recommendations! package, so Kim was with me from step one, and I am so happy with my decision to hire her! As an example of Kim's responsiveness, I would send Kim photos of events style/décor that I liked from instagram or pinterest, and within 24 hours she would have researched the photo, found vendors in the area who are similar/or are the exact vendors, and would have a quote for me so I could see the cost. Kim helped my family and me keep organized and stick to our budget, and was there to help us think through and complete all of our vendor contracts. On the day of the wedding, Kim was so graceful and patient with my family and friends - and she ensured that I didn't have to lift a single finger on my wedding day so that I could enjoy every moment. I hope that every bride has the experience with their wedding planner that I did with Kim at Events by Sarah!!!

ar, not to mention she's an Aggie too so that definitely made our decision easier haha Since day one she was nothing but helpful. She handled all of our contracts, recommended almost half our vendors if not all, which we absolutely loved as well, and even called and set up many appointments throughout the process. Not once did I ever feel overwhelmed or stressed, especially on the wedding day. Apparently there were a few minor bumps that came up on the day of but of course Sarah was there to save the day and everything got fixed without me even knowing, which I loved. I even had my step-dad mention after everything was said and done that she was definitely worth every penny and he was completely shocked at how amazing she did. Sarah was a blast to work with and as crazy as it may sound, I already miss planning the wedding, just because of how easy she made everything. My wedding was exactly how I dreamed it to be all thanks to Sarah! Highly recommend and would give her more than 5 stars if I could!

on with all the vendors, put together a very thorough timeline for the weekend, ran our rehearsal at the venue, and on the wedding day her and her assistant Alex were amazing! Everything went off as planned, and I got numerous compliments from our family members about how great they both were. Our wedding weekend was perfect, and I owe a lot of that to them!

Sarah would set up all meetings when she knew we would be in town. She handled all of our contracts. I told her exactly what I wanted and she made that happen. She sent out a personalized planner to make sure we knew what the timeline was for our wedding day, she kept the boys on time (which is quite a feat), she helped pick up and drop off all of our miscellaneous items, she dropped off our welcome bags, gave us great suggestions, and most importantly, she kept me calm! She came to the final dress fitting, meetings at our venue, and the rehearsal. We had a minor hiccup at the wedding, which, thanks to Kim, I did not learn about until after the honeymoon. We had a large floral arch on the stage and the man who was supposed to remove it did not make it to the venue. Kim had to work with my florist to get it removed while simultaneously keeping the contact at the venue calm (not an easy task). My Mom and I will rave about her to anyone who will listen. Thank you events by Sarah for making our day so perfect!

enjoy my day because I never had to worry about the vendors or where I had to be, because I knew Sarah was handling all of it. She also got a long great with everyone (on both sides!), so everyone loved and listened to her! Before my wedding, I had numerous phone calls and emails with her because I lived out of town, and she was great about being available and working with my schedule. Additionally, I thought she was always going to bat for me, which is so important in a wedding planner. She even spent hours on the phone regarding my contract with a terrible make-up vendor, which I eventually had to fire. At the final hour, she came through with one of her contacts to save the day to replace the vendor I had fired. In the end, I always knew she was working to make my day perfect, and I could not of asked for someone better to be both keep me calm and organized!

ne... turns out I was! After one meeting with Sarah (really within the first 5 minutes) I knew I wanted her help! She was kind, professional, knew EXACTLY what she was talking about, and made me feel extremely comfortable and excited about the next few months. After hiring Sarah, I expected her to be helpful, but I didn't expect her to be as wonderful, decisive, and helpful as she was - to put it simply Sarah was a life saver. So I guess my message is two-fold: 1. You DO need a wedding planner. 2. It NEEDS to be Sarah Bett!!!

Don't do that to yourself. The planner is just as important, if not more so, than the flowers, photographer, invitations. Work it into your budget from the beginning.
