g I had spent 2 years planning for, even when you think you're totally prepared & organized, I assure you there are 250 things that will come up that you didn't think of or didn't plan for. I know Tanya tackled every single question & every issue without ever even letting me know about it. I had a mild weather disaster situation but I simply sat calmly in my space, enjoyed my pre wedding prep, sipped my coffee and knew she had it handled. She will assure you over & over that everything is great and won't let you stress about a thing, I can say with confidence she went above and beyond to bring my vision to life and was truly everything I needed. Her team handled every part of the set up and take down, this allowed me to spend rehearsal day/wedding day/and day after with my family & loved ones, something that can never have a value placed on it. I will never be able to say thank you enough, it seems dramatic to say my wedding day would've been a completely different story without her but it's quite simply the fact. She's incredibly talented at what she does, it would be a mistake to not work with Tanya.

h planning in the months leading up to our day, helping me find vendors, putting together a timeline of the day, coordinating with all of the vendors and making sure they were on the same page, and even last minute fixing my dog's flower wreath to fit around his neck - she was truly the best! I had no worries the day of the wedding because I knew I had Tanya there to take care of business. I truly couldn't have pulled off this absolutely perfect day without her and her assistant Gina! Worth every single penny!

We got married at Suttons Bay Ciders but she will make most Michigan area weddings happen. Couldn’t recommend enough!

over my head and that she was a pro! She had check lists for every month, she helped me back an inspiration board on Pinterest, and she answered all my ridiculous questions with solutions! The week of the wedding Tanya kept me calm telling me not to worry and boy again was she right! She helped me set up, she communicated with all my vendors, she made a timeline and she made sure it all went as planned! I couldn’t tell you if one thing went wrong because she handled it all! If you are considering using Tanya I recommend booking her now! She 110% made my day absolutely perfect!

She worked seamlessly with the other vendors and packed everything up at the end of the night. She had great energy and professionalism. I wish I could have her as a life coach!

ith 23 tables, a candy/dessert bar, photo opp area with tons of things to set up. Prior to the day of my wedding I had every intention of going to the venue to check things out ahead of time. The day of my wedding I was so calm and knew she had everything covered. She texted or FaceTimed if she had a question. Tanya did an excellent job at making my vision come to life! The venue took forever to bring out dinner, which pushed things back almost an hour. We also had Sparty schedule to come at a specific time so there were many moving parts. She quickly adapted the schedule. She was always on the move, sewing bridesmaids dresses, having hairspray on hand and constantly making sure things were going off without a hitch. I think I could write an essay on how grateful we are to have been able to work with her and would highly recommend any bride work with Tanya! Thank you Tanya for helping make our day perfect!

She came to appointments with us and I truly valued her opinion (she only gave her opinion if we asked, which was really respectful.) Having Tanya around at the wedding was worth every single penny. My husband and I didn't have to do a single thing that day and it's all thanks to her. I can't thank her enough!! You NEED to have Tanya plan your wedding, you won't regret it!

Leading up to the wedding, Tanya and Gina were just amazing at making sure details were in order. They saved us so much stress and time by contacting our vendors for us and making a timeline. Starting with the rehearsal and on the day of, I can't even begin to tell you all of the things that Gina took care of. I now know that it's hard to describe what a day-of coordinator does because they honestly do anything that needs done! There are so many things we know she must have done behind the scenes (probably many things that we don't know about that were wrong that she corrected). Thinking back, I am reflecting on many moments that would have gone wrong if she wasn't there! At the end of the night, it was pretty chaotic. We hadn't set a real plan in motion for what to do with getting everything out of the room , as we thought we would do it with our families, but everyone was still having fun! Gina just stepped right up and packed it all up and made sure everything was good to go. She took all of the pressure off of us and our families and allowed us to really enjoy the entire day. What a disaster it would have been at the end of the night without her! Gina was professional and super sweet. She had a wonderful, calming presence on everyone that came in contact with her. She was organized and had an amazing attention to detail. We can honestly say, she was the best decision of the wedding! Do not hesitate to hire Events by Tanya (we are equally confident that Tanya would have been just as amazing the day of!) The peace of mind, time you save, stress you remove from yourself and those you love, and the amazing way everything seems to seamlessly come together is worth every penny! If we could leave more than 5 stars, we would. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

s a huge help with the set up and the taking down of all of our wedding decor. She has a quiet presence, I like that, especially during the wedding and reception. A pretty, young, well put together lady who all throughout, assessed the needs of the bride and groom, and the entire wedding party. I hired a wedding planner for 2 reasons, first, to be an expert in weddings and assist with my daughters’ concerns. Second, to help us make decisions. That, I learned, does not happen! Example: When I couldn’t decide on the linen colors, or chargers, or chairs, or runners , etc. and asked for her opinion, she politely told me that it is whatever WE wanted. She shared reasons why some colors work or don’t, and assisted with visualizing my thoughts. She shared what she’s seen before or sent photos from the internet to help me see the ideas, but get ready to make your own decisions. My linen vendor said the same thing, stating that they have learned not to voice their taste/personal opinions or choose colors, due to past brides being unhappy and then blaming them! Once I figured that out, the next time, I brought a friend with me that has good taste and lots of opinions!! It all worked out beautifully! Could I do a first time wedding without Tanya? No way, I was a deer in headlights at times. It was a great comfort having her on our team.

ers and she put them down no problem without telling her about it beforehand, and I forgot to bring our glass for our beer unity ceremony, so she had to get us a new glass and she didn’t flinch at having to do those tasks. She set up the reception room perfectly as well as the ceremony site. She was always punctual and very nice about it when we were not at the venue walkthrough as well as the rehearsal. We also asked her for a vendor recommendation and the place she recommended was excellent!

, I truly felt like I was reaching out to a friend every time I contacted her. The month of our wedding she reached out to all of our vendors and created a perfect day of timeline, truly taking the stress off of me. Our wedding day was absolutely beautiful and went on without a hitch, I could't have dreamt of a more perfect day. I truly know our day would not have been as perfect as it was without Tanya's expertise, patience and attention to detail. I am so thankful I found Tanya during the beginning of our planning process and I will definitely be recommending her to all of my friends getting married going forward. She went above and beyond our expectations, including finding some time in her busy schedule to meet us in person when we were in town visiting the month prior to our wedding. This visit proved to be crucial because she helped guide us to answer questions we did not even think of. When it came time for our wedding weekend, Tanya and Gina stepped in to help with our Rehearsal Party the night prior to the wedding. When we learned we were short on items such ice and chairs, these girls were more than willing to assist - Something I don’t think all wedding planners would be willing to do - and we were very grateful for the help! During the wedding day, Tanya's attention to detail and calm demeanor are a welcome complement to all of the hustle and bustle. If I had any questions, concerns or needs, silly or not, she responded calmly, kindly and offered up solutions or physically stepped in to help herself. My husband and I truly had the best wedding ever, and we owe so much of that to Tanya and Gina. Thank you ladies!!

Months before our wedding date she would reach out to check in on the planning, she set up a meeting with us a month prior to wedding to get all the details, she worked with us on a skype call as we live out of state, she put together the entire timeline and connected with all our vendors the month prior to make sure it went perfectly and timely! Tanya attended our rehearsal the night prior and was in town to help us the whole weekend. We couldn't thank her enough for taking the pressure off of us on our day. She made sure we had the BEST time and that our day went perfect! When I was first looking for a day of coordinator it was daunting, I am the first one to get married of my family and friends so I felt a little lost about who to go to. When I found Tanya on the Knot I was so happy to see her wonderful reviews, but I was still nervous as I didn't personally know anyone who had worked with her before. Tanya's pricing is really reasonable for everything you get so a part of me felt like it was too good to be true, but it was most definitely not. Tanya went above and beyond what I ever expected! So if you are nervous about your day like me, rest assured Tanya will exceed your expectations. Just wanted to share that because I know how stressful it is to be a bride and how beneficial it was to have great vendors. Some vendors were better than others and it made us realize how lucky we were to have the vendors who rocked at what they did. Tanya definitely rocks at what she does! Sorry for the crazy long review, but I was just so nervous about the day and she made it perfect and for that I will be forever grateful!
