this review on this platform is also necessary.    Respectfully, there is some context that was left out of this review with regard to customer responsibility.  As for timing, your wedding gown was ordered with standard shipping, which means it would generally arrive at the store within four to six months - and it did.    As for the fit of your dress, we take three measurements: bust, waist and hips. We then compare those measurements to the designer's size chart, and, as is standard across the bridal industry, it is our policy to recommend the biggest size a customer measures into. That way, the dress fits there first and then it can be adjusted elsewhere later in alterations.  With this, dresses are not made custom to the bride's measurements and it is ultimately the customer's choice whether or not to go with the recommended size as per the designer’s size chart. It should also be noted that sample dresses on the sales floor have been tried on and potentially stretched out - meaning they do not necessarily fit like a brand new version of that size would upon arriving at the store. So, when it comes to sizing, it is best to go off of the measurements taken, not solely the size tried on on the day of the appointment.  Please know we notified you right away when your dress arrived in store. As is stated in our sales contract and agreement, the customer has 14 days from that point to come in to inspect the dress and try it on. Records show that during our dress pick up appointment you elected not to try on your gown and a document was signed stating all was satisfactory and that no merchandise would be left behind.  We are sorry you are now unhappy with the fit of your gown. However, at the point the dress was removed from our premises, the store had met its obligations in regards to your dress. As we explain to all customers, we currently do not offer in house alterations, but we can certainly provide a recommendation if needed. Alterations are detailed in our sales agreement and contract as being an optional thing as an extra expense.  And although we are most certainly not the sewing experts, alterations are typically priced the same regardless of how many inches are being taken in. Pricing has more to do with the intricacy of the work - heavy beading, thick lace appliques, detailed hems. etc. Any questions related to alterations should be directed to a seamstress. to hear that Rachel was friendly and you enjoyed our team (as you should)! Our website does list our dress price range from $1,000 to $3,500. Currently, our highest priced dress in store is well below that at $2,799, which just sold off the rack, leaving our next highest at $2,749. It is possible that you saw dresses marked higher at other stores. Also, we have 3 fitting rooms, with one measuring at least 10 ft. by 10 ft., essentially a small room vs. a fitting room size, which should allow for more than adequate space to try on and enjoy your experience. We are sorry that you had a hard time finding us, but the city does not allow every mall to have roadside signage. The Galleria West mall does have a sign directly on Bluemound and our store does have a sign on the middle, main entrance of the mall, as advertised and explained on our email confirmations, website and phone message.
