Good reception site in Brown CountyReviewed on 7/24/2014 Kara E
There aren't very many reception sites in Brown County, IN with large capacities. Explore Brown County advertises that they can hold 150-200 people, but you can have far more than that by adding additional seating (indoors and outdoors). XBC was reasonably priced (comparatively speaking), although they are somewhat difficult to deal with. Watch the paperwork - oftentimes their website and paperwork state different policies.
Affordable but poor PRReviewed on 6/26/2014 Kara E
If you're a bride who knows what you want and how to make it happen, Valley Branch is a very affordable option. Be forewarned, though: their website and information packets often disagree with each other so be ready to ask lots of questions.
Rustic beautyReviewed on 9/26/2012 Christa M
We've spent many weekends camping at Valley Branch Retreat, but hosting our wedding and reception there let us see the place in a whole new light. If you're looking for a rustic and natural location, this is it! There are many places to get married outside, and the Harvest Hall barn was amazing for our reception of ~130 people. Plenty of space, rustic charm, and still the amenities of actual bathrooms, air conditioning, and a kitchen for your caterer!
