Stephanie was my original artist, and she did a fantastic job with my trial - I showed her some photos on Pinterest of what I wanted, and she executed that vision flawlessly. Unfortunately Stephanie broke her hand a few weeks prior to my wedding, so she was unable to work my event. Tara was able to find me a new artist within about a day - super fast turnaround! They even allowed me to schedule another trial with my new artist at no additional charge! Brittany was my new artist who did both my trial and my hair and makeup on my wedding day. She was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I showed her both the original Pinterest photos of my vision, as well as photos of Stephanie's work during my first trial. All she needed was a few glimpses of the photos and she perfectly executed the look I wanted. Prior to the wedding, Brittany worked closely with me to develop a day-of schedule for both her and the second artist who helped with my bridesmaids and our mothers. She provided a detailed schedule with start and stop times for all 5 of the women who booked hair and makeup, ensuring that we would all be ready in time for the photographers. On the day of our wedding, both Brittany and Myline, our second artist, were highly punctual, arriving at my hotel suite precisely on time. I love how they will travel to meet you at your preferred location - this was incredibly convenient as we could just walk downstairs for photos the moment we were ready. Both artists worked well with all 5 ladies, listening to their opinions about their visions for hair and makeup, and making friendly conversation the whole time. Many of us did not have strong opinions about certain aspects of our look, and we all felt comfortable trusting our artists with helping us to make some of those decisions (fake eyelashes, shadow color, etc.). Brittany and Myline finished all 5 of us in slightly over 4 hours, and we met both the hair and makeup schedule as well as the photography schedule. All of us looked incredibly beautiful, and both the hair and makeup lasted all night long - mine alone lasted a full 12 hours and still looked flawless! I would highly recommend Brittany, Myline and Stephanie for any wedding! They were all wonderful and I am so grateful to them for making my wedding beautiful!

My mom and I loved Staci from the moment we first met her at my hair and make-up trial! I wasn’t really sure how I wanted to do my hair and make-up at my trial and she nailed it first try. I got the privilege to have her do my hair and make-up 3 times and every time it was flawless. She made me look and feel like a princess. She’s such a great person inside and out and totally personable. Every time I met with her she was enthusiastic and excited about our wedding plans and our Park Shoot which was a breath of fresh air at 4 in the morning (especially when you’re nervous)! an one hour earlier than planned. Best advice is to follow their protocol of having everyone present when they arrive and a large enough space for your group. Their work also lasted the massive rainstorm after our ceremony and humidity. For 4pm ready time the first H&M was completed by 10:30am that day and their makeup & hair still looked good at midnight! Stacie also returned two days later at 3:30am for my magic kingdom park shoot and nailed it again. Thank you Fairytale!

I was very specific in a certain date that I would need for my trial since I am not local to Florida. They had told me they could accommodate that date, but after I paid the deposit, they told me they actually couldn’t do my requested trial date which then forced me to rearrange previous made plans for my weekend in Florida. I was assigned Jenn to be my stylist for the trial and wedding day. Having a makeup trial really put my anxiety at ease prior to the wedding (just knowing that I liked how it looked) but it caused me much anxiety regarding hair which I was not expecting. After showing Jenn a picture of what I was looking for in an updo, the result looked nothing like the picture. This caused me unnecessary stress leading up to the wedding worrying about what my hair would look like. I was also slightly turned off during the trial because she was recommended to me by a Disney bride Facebook group, yet during the trial she was bashing that Facebook group. It just comes off as unprofessional. For wedding day, Jenn came exactly on time. However, I was quite frustrated with the fact that we were only allowed to have one stylist versus two. Again, because she was recommended through this Facebook group, I know many other brides who had Jen AND Stacie for less services than my group was having done that morning. I had plans to go out for a breakfast with my sister and MIL the morning of the wedding which had to be cancelled because hair & makeup had to be started at 8:30am for a 5pm wedding (solely because there was only one person doing both hair and makeup without any help). Jenn did a great job with the look of my makeup and kept it natural looking which is what I requested. It was raining at times throughout the day, and during my first look with my husband, my makeup peeled off on my nose and around my lips when he kissed me. My planner had to run to my hotel room to get me touch up makeup because it was very noticeable. Regarding hair, I do like how the updo turned out, but again she wasn’t able to produce anything close to the picture I showed her. I made it clear that for the updo I did not want it touching my neck, but she did an updo that was hanging down onto my neck. This wasted a bunch of time since she then needed to fix that because I wasn’t ok with how it looked and it wasn’t what I requested. Jenn came back 2 days after the wedding to repeat my hair and makeup for my park shoot. Hair and makeup turned out well, but I felt that it was rushed and she didn’t put as much effort into it since it was just a park shoot and not a wedding - however I was paying the same amount again that I did on my wedding day (more actually because of early morning fees) so the same amount of effort should be given. I was really turned off again because while she was doing my hair & makeup she was bashing the bride and bridal party that she had done the day prior. It makes you wonder “well was she bashing me to someone else too?”. It’s just very unprofessional and leaves a bad taste in your mouth. Overall my hair & makeup turned out well for pictures, but I found the process stressful (a stylist should be able to reproduce an example picture of hair and makeup) and unprofessional.

She was very accommodating, as I was running late to our scheduled time on my trial day, and also the hairstyle I chose got a little tricky but she said she would practice it on one of her daughters hair that night and be ready to go for the wedding! My mom was nervous about getting her makeup done because she normally doesn’t wear a lot and didn’t want it to look unnatural. I had 21 services with hair and makeup. Stacie, Jenn and Lisa were amazing. some girls had pics for inspiration and they recreated those looks perfectly or in my case Stacie came up with something off the top of her head! it was beautiful and held up the entire day and even next day! I love them and will continue to use them whenever I need pictures or just a day of pampering!

They are also extremely prompt with all communication, so you can make decisions quickly... and easily. Tara, Adri, and Rosie were my three hair/make up artists, and they were fantastic! They were the first to arrive at our venue already all set-up by the time we arrived at the bridal suite. They were also a very nice calming presence during the chaos of getting ready. The amount of compliments were got on our hair and make up (they do a great smokey eye) all day long was a true testament to how great they are. Highly recommend them, and thank you Fairytale Hair and Makeup!

After we were done, I asked the if they would come be guests cause I felt so comfortable with them both. My Mom got her hair done and she hates it when anyone does her hair and she let Tara work on it and my Mom STILL talks about how awesome her hair looked that day! When I searched for help for this on a Facebook Disney forum where this vendor is considered preferred, several brides also related their terrible experiences. This vendor, Fairytale Hair and Make up then began "harrassing" other brides (owner and husband messaging and demanding reviews be removed). The owner Tara went so far as to threaten to sue the moderator for allowing the post on their site. I have documentation of all of this. Luckily Samantha Reese was also hired for bride hair and make up and was able to help when one of my bridesmaids was upset about her hair from Fairytale.
