Nicole was recommended to me, so I didn't shop around much for a wedding planner but found her fees to be very reasonable. Nicole also planned and implemented all the florals for my wedding as this is her new focus, and again she was able to capture and design a beautiful presentation. Lastly, she worked so seamlessly to re-schedule and adjust our wedding plans when we had to downsize from 200 to 30 guests and change our date. I would highly recommend working with Nicole!

was like a three day fairy-tail on Mackinaw Island, on the ground of Woodbridge, with a view of the bridge as a back drop for the wedding. Although she was the bride she organized the flowers, food for the bridal party, rooms for guests on grounds were the ceremony took place. The day of the wedding she worked with the staff to make sure everything was perfect and the day was amazing. The next Marsh wedding was in Charlevoix September 2018 at Shanahans Barn. I would refer to this wedding as elegant, amazing and beautiful. Nicole worked more with the brides mother for the fine touches that mean so much. She thinks of things you just don’t think of on your own, like who is taking the grandparents home when they get tired. Although that may not seam important during the planning it become apparent as soon as dinner is over with a 90 year old dad. The final Marsh wedding was a few weeks ago on September 7th 2019, with only four months to plan it seamed impossible until we hired Nicole to do her future brother-in-laws wedding. The wedding was all outside at our lake house. I worried about everything, I was so nervous I was staying up at night, I told Nicole I needed her help and the bride and groom agreed. Once I hired her I started to relax, I no longer was envision Woodstock and started to think Glamorous and do able. It was more amazing than I would have imagined: The ceremony was in one location on the grounds, a simple walk across the road lead to tall tables and an oyster bar. The family style reception was held under the tent out by the lake it was glamorous, well planned and so amazing. From the fine detail of the day to the delicately place flowers in the brides bouquet I could not have asked for a more perfect day or a more perfect Daughter in law. Two of my friend have already hired Compose Events for 2020 weddings and floral arrangements.

No disposables? No seating chart? No parking? - no matter the idea we proposed - her design process and ability to problem solve were both creative and dynamic! She was really put to the test when, an hour before the ceremony, a beautiful sunny day turned into torrential thunderstorms. Our wedding was outdoors and Nicole quickly sprang into action, moving decor, rearranging tables, coordinating transport of guests to the tent rather than the outdoor ceremony site, and communicating with us all the while. My husband and I agree she was definitely the most important person we hired for the wedding and can't imagine the day (or weeks leading up) without her. She allowed us to feel relaxed (even as it rained sideways) and enjoy the day/the people around us the day of! If you're hesitating...don't. She's worth it.

out our wedding was simple. From a non-wedding venue, catering our own food and some unique design choices - she handled everything with excitement and ease. The weeks leading up to and day of were absolutely flawless. I felt so calm. She handled every single detail. She also did all the design and all the floral and it turned out SO BEAUTIFUL. At one point during the reception the strap on my dress completely broke and within minutes I was back on the dance floor bc she just casually sewed it back together. Overall, Nicole was so amazing and I am so grateful for her to curating the best day of our lives. I have already recommended to her to anyone that will listen!

On top of that, we chose what is essentially an empty warehouse to have our wedding reception and Nicole was able to work with numerous vendors to bring in every single fork, napkin and large decoration items (amazing balloon drop, gorgeous donut wall, etc) to execute our dream wedding. As weddings go, there are always hiccups along the way, which Nicole handled quickly with effortless grace and allowed us to continue to dance and drink the night away stress and worry free until well past 1 AM. hicago. Nicole is very nice and clearly has a passion for wedding planning. However, I think my wedding was a tad out of her league/comfort zone. Our wedding was a black tie formal event for 250 people that included numerous vendors and moving parts. I think Nicole is a coordinator/planner more suited for smaller weddings with a less formal style/focus (whimsical/northern Michigan vibe). Nicole was helpful in attending meetings so that I didn't have to come into town. We had some issues with communication which Nicole always resolved and apologized for. The main issue was that I wanted someone on the day-of to be the go-to person to keep us on schedule and put out any fires. On the day of, Nicole focused more on vendor set up and coordination because she was worried about set up timing issues. The majority of our vendors had worked in that space before and were very familiar with the rules and timing schedule. I think vendors could have been handled by the event space staff and coordinator. I really wanted Nicole to be present for bridal party purposes. She instead was with Vendors the whole day before start time, and put a lot of pressure on my photographer and Maid of Honor to make sure that everyone was where they were supposed to be and on schedule. During the reception, we had some issues locating her to deal with late night snack and favor issues. This was odd considering she was on site and brought another person with her to help. Overall, the experience was not as I expected but Nicole was very helpful with confirming all of the vendors I booked. I think Nicole's working style is better suited for less formal weddings with a smaller guest count than 250.

For anyone on the fence about hiring a coordinator, I can safely say it was some of the best money we spent and I would choose Nicole every time if I had it to do over!

People were constantly coming up to me telling me it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to with the most gorgeous flowers they’ve ever seen, and I just gushed about how much I loved working with Nicole. She is truly an artist and I’m extremely lucky to have had her do my wedding. People were telling me something at our wedding would go wrong and everything can’t be perfect. That was not the case for me. Everything was executed perfectly—the timing, the decorations, the people I got to work with, and the planning process. Nicole did everything for me and took all of the stress and weight off my shoulders so I could just tell you my vision and you handled the rest. I still can’t believe how incredibly perfect it was. o make the wedding a success. Everyone asked me throughout my wedding day how I was so calm-- it was an easy answer: NICOLE. Having her on my team meant that I had nothing to worry about. She handled every logistic on the days leading up, as well as the "big day", making sure that all the vendors knew when to show up and what needed to happen. That kind of trust is invaluable to me. I could not have been able to enjoy the day the way I did without her. In addition to her top tier organizational skills and industry knowledge, Nicole has great taste. I have a very critical, artistic eye and a specific vision for how the venue would look and Nicole was right there with me. When I walked in, I so so totally in love with how it came together. She had to take some liberties with the venue setup/florals and I am thrilled with every choice she made. She gets it. I am so glad that I was able to work with Nicole, she is a wedding ANGEL.
