The bouquet for my bridal portraits from Sandy at floral affairs really was beautiful, and she recreated the same beautiful bouquet on the wedding day. However, the wedding day was incredibly unprofessional. Our delivery was scheduled for 10am..., and Sandy called me at 10am to inform me that she would not be at the chapel until 1pm because she was finishing our flowers (I reminded her that pictures were at 4pm). She did not show up until 3:15 pm (45minutes before pictures), and only showed up after multiple calls from my bridesmaids and our DJ/coordinator.
In addition, she called me on the wedding day to inform me that she had purchased the wrong color ribbon to wrap the bridesmaids bouquets, and requested to wrap them in a different color.
Our contract included a delivery and set up fee; however, she was so late to arrive at the ceremony site that our bridesmaids and groomsmen unloaded her car for her.
When she arrived with the bridesmaids bouquets, we had to request that she fix several because she didn't trim the stems (many flowers were sticking about 4 inches above the rest of the bouquet).
The boutonnieres/corsages for our family/bridal party were the wrong color.
In addition, the many of the flowers were dead by the time she arrived or died during the ceremony and reception.
Sandy's contract also included a fee to move several items from the ceremony to the reception; however, she left during the ceremony and the responsibility fell on the bridesmaids and groomsmen.
Overall, the flowers were a disappointing and stressful experience.
