e and knows quite a thing or two about flowers. In the beginning I had specific ideas for my bouquet and my bridesmaids' bouquets, but I changed my ideas quite a few times during the process. Nina was very understanding and patient, and made a point to give me and my husband whatever we wanted. Nina was very easy to get in contact with, and responded to every single one of my emails in a timely manner and never had me waiting or playing a guessing game. She was upfront with pricing from the start, and very accommodating as far as staying within the budget you ask for. The day of the wedding, Nina designed beautiful rustic bouquets for myself and my bridesmaids, and our centerpieces were the talk of the night, there were so many people that wanted them and took them home! Needless to say, Nina was wonderful to work with, and I would HIGHLY recommend any bride-to-be to use her!

We were unsure of using a boutique decorator as opposed to some of the larger big named places but we are so happy we did because it was a huge success. experienced and knowledgeable. i basically just showed her a picture of something i liked and she instantly set to work piecing together in her mind what flowers would go perfect together and what we could add in to give it a little texture. Berries! So beautiful, i never would have thought of that. I had a great experience working with Nina, it really felt like we we're truly working together. I spray painted some candelabras to use as centerpieces and i asked her to dress them up with some vines. I gave her the spray paint and she touched them up for me when she was done! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

the entire planning process, she was fantastic in creating a vision with you and patient with numerous minor tweaks. Unfortunately, the weekend of my wedding was right after a hurricane and she had trouble getting specific flowers but was very communicative leading up to the big day. However, assuming because of all the stress with the flower shortage, my bridal bouquet was not as planned- missing the main flowers (white hydrangeas), and rose colors that were not exactly what was planned (brighter pink vs a blush). There was also some confusion among the boutonnieres and corsages as they were not all labeled, and the colors were slightly different than planned as well. Despite the mishap, the bridal bouquet was gorgeous, along with all of the other flowers for the day. Nina was sincerely apologetic and offered a small refund which was much appreciated. After all is said an done, as disappointing as it was to not have my 'dream bouquet' it is a small detail in the grand scheme of things, and I would still happily work with Nina if I were to do it all over again!

the flowers. The bride was at grad school on the opposite coast and yet, through pictures and multiple meetings with Nina, we were able to create a vision that was shared by all. Nina never pushed us to do more than she thought was necessary and reeled me in when she thought things were not necessary. All of the bouquets were stunning and the flowers lasted for days beyond the wedding. The same was true for the table arrangements! We made many changes along the way and Nina just kept smiling and helping us clarify our vision. On the day of the wedding, Nina was right there to deliver the bouquets and then was off to the wedding /reception venue to personally deliver and set-up the flowers. She draped tulle around the outdoor pergola and created an intimate setting for the wedding ceremony. She fashioned gorgeous floral sprays that were moved indoors once the ceremony was over to grace the large fireplace in the reception ballroom. Everything was as we discussed and truly exquisite. If you are looking for someone to truly listen to your ideas and then have the knowledge and artistic ability to create them, meet with Nina. She does only one event at a time and as a result, the service is as personal as one could hope for! All around a fantastic experience...I would highly recommend Floral Designs by Nina!

She made two gorgeous pieces on columns for our outdoor ceremony that she later moved inside for our reception. The fireplace mantle was beautifully decorated with flowers, and she was even able to incorporate mason jars, my favorite! Our guests absolutely loved our centerpieces, and our bouquets were beautiful as well. We cannot thank Nina enough for her beautiful floral creations. And she was super affordable!
