Flower & Oak's style of videography caught our attention from the jump and was exactly what I wanted for our wedding day. Leading up to the day, their team made sure to ask exactly what we were picturing for our video and was always there to answer questions! On the day, we had 3 amazing people there to capture all of our events. My husband was blown away by how kind and easy-going everyone was (especially because he was unsure of having video) and loved how discrete they were while filming - which was one of his worries. Flower & Oak's team managed to capture every part of our day without disrupting it, and we had multiple family members coming up to us to compliment them on this - as they had never seen videographers that take special attention to not block anyone's view etc. I even had a small panic attack in the morning and Mark and his team pivoted and made sure I wasn't overwhelmed while formal pictures were taking place, which I appreciated so much! We cannot wait to see our wedding video! Thank you so much for everything!

We absolutely ADORED working with Mark and Andrew at Flower and Oak! We interviewed a lot of videographers before landing on hiring Mark and his team. We were impressed with his knowledge, and the fact that he wasn’t pushy about booking with us. He genuinely wanted us to find a good fit for us whether that was him or not. But my husband and I both felt really comfortable with him right off the bat, and we were really blown away by everything we’d seen him do on social media and his website. He is a very skilled filmmaker! And gosh, he was easy to work with! He was enthusiastic about all of our ideas and got excited with me leading up to the big day! We also loved that he has such an artistic eye. Since I am an artist, that was important to us! He loved my in laws backyard where we did our first look and all our photos. It is one of my favorite places in the world, and I’m glad he appreciated how beautiful it is back there!! Our reception venue was lovely inside but less than lovely outside. It was really just a parking lot next to a grocery store and gas station. But I had this idea to take the giant backdrop that I painted (for behind our head table) outside at some point in the night to take some photos before bringing it in to use as our selfie station for our guests. It might have seemed a little weird having a big beautiful painting in the middle of a random parking lot, but Mark commented that he loved that kind of scrappy vibe where it was beautiful and then also kinda random haha. It honestly felt like it fit us pretty well lol, and it made me excited that he was excited because I knew he was going to make it look so cool! I’m so happy with how it all came out! He also got our videos back to us faster than I had expected. I think it was right on line with his projected timeline, but it felt pretty quick! When my husband and I watched the full video, we realized that they included more of the mass part of the wedding ceremony than was necessary. But when I sent over my requested edits for the video (I had kind of a lot tbh since I went through the raw footage and had some specific clips that I wanted included and a few that they had put in there that we didn’t need) they were able to take those on graciously and got us our edited film back quickly! We are so happy we booked Flower and Oak and would happily recommend them to anyone who is looking for a videographer!! After our first call, I knew that I was going to hire Flower and Oak!! They made the process so easy and include everything that’s important up front instead of charging for a bunch of add ons. Hiring Mark/Flower & Oak to shoot my wedding was easily one of the best decisions I made around my big day! I cannot recommend Mark more!!! I knew I wanted a videographer for my wedding, so I did a decent amount of research. I knew once I spoke to Mark that he was the right one to pick, I didn't talk to anyone else after. First, Mark's top package was as much as some company's starting package and it came with everything I wanted (raw footage, an extra videographer, & 12 hours with them [but Mark even threw in an extra hour for us!]). Second, he was such a sweetheart. It was my photographers first wedding, and he gladly took her under his wing, helping with tips and lens recommendations and everything. Lastly, the process was fairly simple. Easy payment and easy set up with the planning email a week or so before hand that helped gather all the info he needed and a good way for us to let him know what we wanted with our video. At the time I'm writing this review, I've only watched our highlight film, but I've already rewatched it at least 5 times. I can't wait to watch the full film, watch our raw footage, and our highlight film for years to come. If you want the film you know you'll cherish, you need to pick Flower & Oak. You won't be disappointed.

where do I begin?! We weren't even going to have a videographer for our wedding, but I brought up the point about the day going by so fast and video captures the moments we missed so my husband decided to entertain it. After our call with Mark, my husband was onboard. Let me tell you, we have only watched the highlight video so far, and my husband turned to me and said, "I still had reservations about a videographer, but I am so glad we did!" The video is incredible and we are so excited to see the rest of the footage. Mark was so easy to work with and he has a great eye. We couldn't have been happier with his work ! I highly recommend Mark and trust me, you do want a videographer !

Mark was by far the best decision we made for our wedding. We were so hesitant at first to get a videographer and as soon as I spoke to Mark, my mind changed. He felt so different than others we had talked to and truly wanted us to be happy with it and get out of it what we wanted. My now husband’s mother is very sick and was unable to make the wedding… he helped record the ceremony live for her, rushed our highlight film and full length film, and checks in on how she is doing. A lot of people don’t think a videographer is worth the money for a wedding…. Let me tell you it was 100% worth every penny. After a few weeks you forget those little moments about your wedding because it flies by so quickly and we could relive all of it through our wedding video! Mark was absolutely hands down the nicest, kindest, most detail oriented videographer. He was there for us every step of the way from the time we booked him to do our wedding! Everything we asked he captured in the video perfectly. All of our freinds and family can’t believe how amazing our wedding video is! He traveled 1.5 hours to come to our air b n b for getting ready details and then drove to our venue for the rest of the night. He also had a drone which really made the video that more amazing. The whole day was a blur and I was so focused on not screwing up. I quickly forgot things that were said during our ceremony, between my dad and I, between my husband and I.....I was so focused on looking good during our first dance that I didn't look over to see my mother's reaction. I was a bride on the fence about getting a videographer and thought “would it really be worth the money?” I’m here to tell you that without a shadow of a doubt, videography is just as important if not a little more important than photography! Flower + Oak was literally incredible! Being in the video business myself, I knew I had to find the perfect team I could trust to capture my day exactly how I wanted it documented. Mark & the team were very responsive and accommodating to all of my specific requests and made sure to capture everything. When I received the footage, I was blown away! Everything looked great, the sound was clear, the footage was ultra high quality, and everything I wanted was there. Mark is a great guy and one of the few people in this industry that actually cares about his craft and product, and you can immediately tell. Mark was so easy to work with and he communicated with me the whole time! The minute I showed interest in a videographer he set a time to talk and talked to me about everything including all the questions most brides have. He came all the way from the Cleveland area to Columbus for our big day! And even stayed so positive and all smiles and laughter after getting a flat tire! He was the best person to work with as well. He showed me a sneak peek of a short video he got on our wedding day and his excitement for it put us over the moon excited for it. When we got the highlight film it was more amazing then I could’ve ever imagined. I’ve had family and friends saying “we’ve watched it 5 times and get chills every time!” I was a bride unsure of if I needed a videographer and my fiancé was not on board but the day we received the highlight he told me “that was the best decision to get the videographer you were right” because of Mark I get to replay the best moments of my wedding over again. I get to experience the parts of the day I didn’t get to see as well. If you are on the fence about a videographer this is your sign to call Mark! I promise you won’t be disappointed in the least. We were blessed to have Mark on our big day. He even helped throw flowers for our photographer! He is way beyond just a videographer he has such an amazing talent. Mark and his assistant Rodney were AMAZING. We booked Flower + Oak last minute and IT. WAS. WORTH. IT. Mark really listened to what we wanted and captured everything we asked him to even after booking him a few weeks before our big day! For anyone who is hesitant on videography for their wedding day all I have to say is JUST DO IT and do it with Flower + Oak! Mark and Rodney did an excellent job and I cannot thank them enough for the wonderful work they do. I had to convince a lot of family and even my now husband to buy into it and everyone has said it was better than they could have ever imagined. I will also add as the bride you don't get to see everything on the big day especially during the ceremony since you are the last one walking down the aisle. I definitely would have regretted not booking with Flower + Oak! Thank you for allowing us to remember our big day always.

I don't even know where to start...our day turned out amazing and Mark was a huge part of that. I could never express properly how happy my husband I are with the work he did for us and all the moments that he was able to capture. First of all we booked him like 3 weeks before our wedding that was in Colorado and not only did he capture moments of our day together but he captured the atmosphere and the landscape perfectly the entire time we were there. He was extremely accommodating & flexible with any and all requests that we made and ultimately we trusted him with capturing the best moments and I am so glad we did! Words could NEVER express how happy my husband and I were with the work Mark did for our wedding video or should I say our movie. It is red carpet worthy. As soon as we opened it and started watching it, we both cried. Mark gave us the most spectacular film our special day to share with family and friends and to have for generations to come. Amidst many other vendors cancelling on me the month before the wedding (photographer, makeup artist, etc.) when my videographer that I had secured 11 months before the wedding quit 20 days before the wedding, I was devastated. Part of my job is creating video for our corporate office and I am always so amazed at how raw footage when edited and set to music becomes something so magical. I knew that having this for our wedding day was something that I could not go without. It was a Sunday and I went crazy all day trying to find someone who met my budget and my vision of what I wanted the video to portray. If you’re on the fence about a videographer, DO IT. I’m so happy we changed our minds last minute and that we were able to find Mark. The memories that he captured we will now be able to watch over and over, and he masterfully pieced everything together into three beautiful films for us. We now are able to look back on our day through a short clip, longer 5-minute clip, and re-live the entire day through our full-length film. Mark is so talented, and I can’t stop watching our videos.
