Owner and lead designer Sumitra has traveled the world designing for hotels, resorts, and even some privately owned islands. Past clients have included athletes, actors, politicians, restaurants, make-up brands, high-end boutiques....and many more. We have done country barn weddings, classic city weddings, beach weddings, vineyard weddings, Indian weddings, Persian weddings, and even a Massai Warrior wedding! No wedding is too big or too small, we treat every bride the same, and we strive for perfection.

Owner
Sumitra has been a florist for 18 years, with 16 years of those focused on weddings...….wow, that's a lot of brides! Originally from Australia, Sumitra got her start in the floral world quite by accident in late 2001 when she stumbled upon a garage on the upper east side of New York City. Little did she know that garage filled with sheet music, an old piano and a single lady designing flowers would change her life. Sumitra has traveled the world and has worked in Japan, Australia, NY, Hawaii, Aspen, Chicago and Antigua before putting down roots in the DC area.
