. Our work and reviews speak for themselves, but we will kindly respond to this irrational/unfair review this person decided to leave on our page. This client reached out to us 3/1/2 weeks before their wedding, asking for a special “cheap” deal from us, that was way under what we usually charge ($500). We offered a special package to accommodate this client, and their last-minute needs. With all of our clients, we charge 50% of the their final price up front, and the remaining half is due 2 weeks prior to the wedding date. This is no secret, EVERY SINGLE client we have had to date has followed this protocol and company policy we enforce. Not only did we explain our payment process with this client before she paid her down payment and agreed, it is also expressed very clear in our invoice and our contract agreement she received. The purpose of our contract agreements are to legally bind BOTH parties to each other so we BOTH are protected and hold up our part of the agreement. This client agreed to our terms, paid her down payment, then became an unreasonable client by changing her mind after paying and breaching our contract agreement. After a couple of weeks we heard nothing from this client, and we sent reminders about her sending back our contract agreement signed. Again, I reiterate we specifically laid out our terms of accepting the booking, and this client agreed. However she then reaches back out to us very late, to claim she and her husband were not comfortable with paying their 2nd half of the fee 2 weeks prior to the wedding. She requested that we show up the day of the wedding and get paid the remaining half the day-of. Aside from this, she claimed she could not sign our contract because she was having technical difficulties (we to this date, have never had this issue either, this client just didn't want to sign the agreement). In any case, we sent over a pdf version over to this client, she then used a PEN and scratched out the parts she didn't like, namely the part where she is obligated to pay the 2nd half 2 weeks prior to the wedding. After scratching out the part she didn't like, she wrote in her own terms, and signed the contract. We are a legitimate company just like any other company, if you were signing any contract (say a lease to a car) would the company allow you to scribble out terms, and write in your own? Absolutely not, thats absurd. This type of client is one that companies dread having because of how unreasonable they can be. We still however, did our best to provide as much help to this client. We kindly responded to this client stating that the contract was now invalid due to her personal changes, and we would surely need to redraft a new contract in order for our agreement to be valid. After THREE different attempts to resend this message (this client “read the messages on the knot btw), this client did not respond to us, so we reached out to the wedding coordinator. We offered to set up a phone call to discuss the issue further (in those 4 repeated messages) and still got no response. The remainder of this clients invoice was due 9/29/19, we even extended this offer for 5 additional days 10/4/19. The coordinator repeated the sentiments of the client saying they were not willing to pay on our contracted date and asked us to either walk on the job, or accept their terms. Seeing, their would be no reasonable outcome in the situation, we gladly refunded this client their initial first payment back. Shortly after we received this review. This review is not fair to us as a company we did all we could to remedy this issue. Our company prides itself on providing a professional service, customers like this do not reflect the type of clientele we serve. If you are like this person at all, please do not contact us.
