Before stepping in Fred Astaire Wayne, I had never danced a day in my life. I *dreaded* attending to weddings because that meant dancing - I would find a quiet corner and nibble at the leftover cocktail food and desserts while the dance floor was alive. I didn't think it would be fun, I didn't think it was something that could be learned, and I didn't think I'd want to dance. I have never been so happy to be wrong. Every week my fiance and I look forward to visiting Roman and the team. Every week we go in and work together to better ourselves, to learn, to laugh, and to let go for an hour. There are few opportunities in a relationship outside of children to team-build: renovating a house, training a puppy, and... that's about it. But dance has given us something we can work towards and see immediate results. And I mean IMMEDIATE results - we go in for a lesson, and within an hour Roman has us feeling and dancing like pros. Roman has made it clear: this is not a 'Dolly Dinkle' dance studio. This is NOT a place that does a half-baked job, pats you on the back with a big grin, and takes your money. Coming to the studio for that first dance class three years ago was one of the best decisions my fiance and I have made for ourselves, and our relationship. I didn't think a date night could turn into a passion, but Roman and the team have become a family with a common goal, and we couldn't imagine being anywhere else than Fred Astaire Wayne.
