We hired Nadege for our wedding and it was the best decision ever! She is so great with lighting and will direct you for the perfect pictures. The photos came back magazine quality. Totally hire her!!!!

Nadege is absolutely AMAZING! My husband and I are both pretty shy people, therefore we’re awkward in front of the camera. Nadege made us both look like models, and she even helped with some of our wedding planning and day of coordinating. 10/10 recommend French Romance!

I’ll start with the good. Nadege takes good photos, she definitely has a good eye for lighting, and has good artistic ideas. However, she’s not reliable at all. I would suggest not hiring this particular photographer. Nadege Barnes messed up on her dates, and came late to our wedding! She was supposed to be at the bridal suite at around 2 pm. I thought it was odd that she had not arrived by 3pm to take pictures of me getting ready and assumed she was at the groom’s suite. I texted my groom to see if this was the case, and he told me she was not there. I called her and that’s when she realized she had messed up on the dates. She started making up excuses over the phone and even insinuated that I gave her the wrong date. I told her she needed to hurry and start driving to the venue. Needless to say, I have no pictures of us getting ready nor of our wedding party from her. I’m a very forgiving person and would have let this pass if it was not for the fact that she also stood us up on our engagement photoshoot! People kept telling me that I should look for another photographer after she pulled this stunt, but I thought I would give her a second chance which was completely undeserved, and I regret not having hired a different person. She also wanted to catch up on her photos during our reception, so she took time away from us enjoying our party, so she could take pictures of us “getting ready” after the fact. She did not do a great job at this since she did not realize that in all the pictures that she took of the groom, he was wearing his wedding ring. In addition, she did not take any close up pictures of us which is disappointing to say the least. Also disappointing is the fact that I had told her that my two dogs were going to be part of the wedding (ring bearer and flower boy) and she knew how important it was for me to have pictures of them. She did not take any pictures of my dogs. She took a lot longer than most to give us our album and pictures. I kept having to contact her to get updates as she would never contact me. She also never mention anything about us getting a refund for not fulfilling her contract at the wedding. She was contracted to be at the wedding for 8 hours (2pm-10pm) and even though she was late, she left early too. She left at 9pm and didn’t even stay for our last dance. When my husband went to pick up the album, my husband brought up the idea of us getting some kind of refund. She agreed, and my husband told her to communicate with me about the refund details and also to apologize to me. She never contacted me. Not only that, the album that we order was supposed to have golden rose page borders and the one we got had silver ones. Since I was not getting contacted about our refund, we ended up contacting her. We agreed to an amount, but then she wanted me to sign a contract saying that I would not seek legal action against her company or write a bad review. I replied to her that I was not looking to seek legal action and that I would not sign any non-disclosure agreement, and after she realized that these are illegal in California, she backed off from having us sign anything and decided to just give us a refund. Dealing with her has taken a lot of time and grief. I would not want anyone who is getting married to have to deal with what I had to deal with because of her. She is completely unreliable and unprofessional. Trust me when I tell you that you are better off having other photographer at your wedding.

Nadege was the perfect photographer! she knows what she is doing and will tell you what to do and what looks good! Straightforward and easy to work with. I highly recommend!

Nadege was an absolutely amazing photographer for us. She beautifully captured our wedding and took charge to get many beautiful pictures. She was really flexible in working with us as we had some scheduling challenges and our minds were at ease knowing she would be the one capturing the moment on our wedding day. We absolutely love the photos she took and the amazing guest book she created. We highly recommend her for anyone looking to capture their wedding or engagement photos. My husband and I got married in Long Beach and had our reception on the Queen Mary. We took our engagement photos on the Queen Mary too. Nadege was professional, on time and takes beautiful photos. You will not be disappointed. I love that our engagement photos were put into an album as our guest book. Nadege is a master at taking romantic, unique and memorable shots.

My husband and I got married 2.16.19 at Mission Inn in Riverside, CA. We found FRP at the wedding showcase at the venue. I immediately fell in love with her gorgeous photos. Once I seen the prices I knew I wanted to have a consultation and book them. As the wedding approached she sent me so many emails reminding me about so many little things we brides can forget. I was so thankful. The day came and things went pretty smooth. Even for being a little behind. Once we got the email of all the pics we couldn’t believe it. I never imagined anything like them. We are so happy we chose French Romance Photography.

Nadege has been an absolute dream to work with. During our pre-wedding shoot she put us at ease straight away, we laughed lots and the photos were just awesome. Unfortunately, Nadege was not able to shoot our wedding day but made sure we were in good hands with another photographer. The photographer on our wedding day did such an amazing job where they managed to capture so many wonderful moments even those we missed! The photos are just out of this world and tell the story of our day so perfectly. Don’t book your wedding until you have booked Nadege – you need her for your wedding!

I'm so glad I chose Nadege to shoot my engagement and wedding photos. She made me feel comfortable in front of the camera and worked hard to get all of the shots she knew I would appreciate. Nadege Barnes was referred to us by friends, velvet and Isaac, who just got married. We had an old Hollywood themed wedding and nadege designed the perfect guest book. One of our engagement session even won a global photography award as well of one of our wedding pictures. Her work is just amazing. If you are looking for an affordable and very creative photographer, she is the one.

We found Nadege at a Bridal Convention in Ontario, CA and her work spoke for itself! The colors and artistic shots were nothing like we had seen before. She displayed the awards she had just previously won and had some of the guest books and wedding albums of clients past. It gave us a really good idea of her work. Our wedding theme was a modern Victorian - Nadege did an excellent job incorporating our theme into our guest book and wedding pictures. We were very happy with the engagement photo shoot and resulting guest book that came of the pictures. Nadege is a perfectionist and you can see it through her work. Upon receiving our wedding pictures, we realized no two pictures were alike. We took pictures at the beach where the fog was rolling in and the pictures look magical. We highly recommend Nadege !

Not enough can be said about how amazing this company is. Nadege went above and beyond in so many aspects to capture the beauty of our big day. She meet with us before the wedding to get ideas on anything we where specifically wanting and when combined with her eye for photography the result was stunning. She captured every momemt of our big day from the big to the small giving us endless images to treasure. In addition to the great photographs she became our hero and quite literally saved the day when the tux shop sent pants for my husband that where way to big. She dropped everything, broke out a sewing kit and literally sewed my husband into his pants! Besides being a life saver she was very professional and easy to work with. Her sweet personality and easy going demeanor helped ease any nerves. I would highly recommended Nadege for any events that you may need photography for.

My daughter and I met Nadege at the Bridal Show in January. After talking with her for a few minutes and seeing her stuff - I knew she was the one!! We connected with her personality and we just loved her packages, pricing, and the one of a kind way she bundles her photos. We had a fabulous engagement photo session - which she used the pics to make our sign in book. She was amazing the day of our wedding.
