Joanna was able to answer every question that we had and was always one step ahead of us to make sure we had everything accounted for and that no detail was missed. She made the day the most memorable, and we would recommend the Glasbern to any couple that is looking for a venue. If you are looking for a rustic venue that has character, look no further. The food is amazing, breakfast is included the next day, and we would give the Glasbern more than five stars, if possible!

Glasbern overall is a very beautiful venue, the grounds are upkept beautifully, and the food is amazing. The entire staff took the restrictions / virus seriously and I never felt our guests were at risk. The amount of planning beforehand allowed for a seamless wedding: distancing tables, hand sanitizer, and other efforts. The overnight rooms are beautiful and allow enough room for bridal parties to get ready. Our photographer loved all the picture opportunities throughout the property. Every component of our wedding was perfect. If you are considering Glasbern, you will not be disappointed! It will be the best choice you will make for your wedding!

country road up on a hill with breathtaking views, ample photo op spots and tasteful decor both inside and out (we went in December for a tour) it didn't take long to not only fall in love with Glasbern, but get that "yes, this is the place" feeling in our stomachs. We had the support of Brandy (the coordinator) through the whole process. From questions to planning to walk- throughs to meetings to sorting out all the fine details. She let us know what steps should be completed within what time frame (after all, we had never planned a wedding before so all this was new to us). It was quite helpful to have Brandy as our go-to. I could email even text her anytime I had a question and I could count on a speedy response. Brandy quickly and easily became what seemed like not only our coordinator, but a friend. She is super easy to talk to, great personality and is there to help every step of the way. The day of the wedding, my husband and I had our own separate areas of the venue to get ready which was nice. Our wedding ceremony was held in the outdoor heated pavilion in December and was totally fine! The heaters made it comfortable to sit outside and the view overlooking the whole property was priceless. My husband and I discussed three important things we wanted to make it a successful reception: 1. amazing food 2. open bar and 3. tasteful music. We had chosen the Champagne Brunch wedding reception package in the Glasloft since we had planned for about 30 guests. The food was right on point, we had several guests comment to us afterward about the quality and selection of food. We had a semi-open bar including champagne, bloody Mary's, mimosas, house wine and our specialty drink of spiked warm cider- all was a hit as this was a brunch reception. Music was as tasteful as we could've imagined. We hired a harpist to play holiday melodies throughout the reception and had again several guests comment on the quality and tastefulness of our harpist. Amber and Brandy both kept the day moving smoothly, working both behind and in front of the scenes to ensure a seamless day, and that it was. We had originally planned for a smaller wedding from the start, even before COVID was in the picture, so thankfully there was not much we had to change or adjust regarding the guest list. Brandy was very up front and informed us if Glasbern should have to close or reduce the capacity even further then our wedding date would be saved for the following year at no additional charge to us. We were sitting on the edge of our seats waiting for the final word just days before the wedding as to if we had to reschedule or not, thankfully our wedding was able to proceed a week before the second shut-down. During our wedding and reception all employees were masked and gloved and our guests commented how comfortable they felt with the COVID guidelines in place. Overall, it was everything we were looking for in a wedding, in a venue, and in a coordinator and both my husband and I would recommend Glasbern a thousand times over! As stressful as the wedding planning process can be, it's that much easier with people in place to help, guide and support you and that is just what you can expect from employees at Glasbern!

When the day of the wedding came, Amber was there for every question and hiccup to make sure everything went off perfectly! The whole of the Glasbern staff were professional and we could tell that they genuinely enjoy being present to make a couple's big day just right. In addition to the wonderful people, the property and facilities are beautiful! We received so many compliments - our guests felt like they were away on a weekend retreat! food, first-class hospitality, top-notch staff, and beautiful accommodations. Our celebration started with the rehearsal dinner in the Glasloft with a great menu and our terrific server, Courtney. The ceremony and reception could not have been more perfect with every staff member tending to the needs of our guests. The wonderfully delicious cuisine again was executed by Chef Patrick and assistants, Thomas, and Sean. A big shout out to the awesome servers Mayson, Sariyah, Sophia, and Courtney and to the friendly and accommodating bartenders, Chris and Russ. A very, very special thanks to Amber and Brandy. These two were hands on every step of the way; extremely responsive whether by phone, email, or text and both were easily accessible from the moment we stepped on the grounds to the moment we left. Everything was perfectly orchestrated, every detail meticulously tended to. Each member of the staff, from groundskeeper to innkeeper, is well versed in hospitality. We never heard anyone say “no, we can’t do that”. We were so happy our daughter and son-in-law chose this beautiful place and would strongly encourage everyone to consider the Glasbern for their special day or any special event. It was such a remarkable experience.

for myself and my guests. I read all these reviews from multiple sites that spoke of a woman named Amber and how she made couple's weddings unforgettable and smooth. Once meeting her I knew that she was perfect. She made me feel very comfortable that I could release the reigns. Long story short my fiancé met her and we knew that the Glasbern would be the place. After a few months and everything falling into place my world was rocked as I found out Amber was no longer there. That is when the nightmare started. I got pushed off onto a guy names Tyler who made me regret my decision. He tried to break my contract, talked down to me like I was stupid, and literally made me hate the wedding process with my venue. When I was going through all of this something didn't feel right and I searched for Amber and reached out to her. I was able to hire her as my day of person and I finally had the person I needed that would make my day perfect. Tyler would try to fight me at all sides and Amber did a great job of fighting for me as a bride. My day came and Amber made everything run amazingly. The food was great, the music was perfect, the timeline was stuck to and the atmosphere was memorable. We also rented the Dairy Barn as a place for me and some of my Bridesmaids and Groomsmen to stay so we could all be together. Now you may wonder why I am rating this as a 5 star with the issues and the months of hardships that this guy Tyler caused. Their are three ladies that come to mind.(Amber, Joanna, and Beth) They treated me like family and they did everything in their power to make it right. The MAIN reason they are getting a 5 star is that the Glasbern finally got AMBER to come back. With her running at the helm everyone's special day will be memorable and perfect. Words can't express how grateful my husband and I were to have her at our sides. (Side note: I know I wasn't the only bride at Glasbern that hired her as a day of when she wasn't there.) The proof is in the pudding and Amber will have the Glasbern back to weddings week after week there. In my opinion call the Glasbern up and ask the meet with Amber and you will understand why I gave them 5 stars now.

r specifically went above and beyond for us! His attention to detail was on point and always one step ahead. When our shuttle decided to stop showing up to bring people back to the other hotel guests were staying at, he took them in his own vehicle to make sure they all got back safely. Walker was also friendly and accommodating. He would check in to make sure we had everything we needed! Beautiful sights, amazing people... you can’t ask for more!

t was a great space for our rehearsal dinner, and the main lodge was perfect for our reception. All the staff we dealt with were incredibly friendly and helpful. And TYLER IS THE BEST. We had a few bumps in the road early in our planning, as our first two coordinators left, but once Tyler stepped in, he was there to help us with every little thing we needed and answered our every question. All of our guests loved the venue and had a great time. Hands down the best venue we could have ever imagined.

f was always very polite and helpful, but there were definitely issues along the way. We had 3 different coordinators before the final 3 coordinators stepped in. 6 total people. 3 of 6 still work there. They were very helpful when we were able to speak to them. The communication between coordinators however is very much lacking. They also all seem very over worked due to the high turn over rate of coordinators and tons of events going on. So many events that some kind of bridal shower was held in the area my reception was going to be, WHILE WE WERE SUPPOSED TO BE SETTING UP FOR IT. My MOH has to pass along instructions to the staff for setup because she had to get ready for the wedding. Half of our guests’ rooms weren’t ready when they were supposed to be. There was also a mixup during cocktail hour and 75 people were corralled into the Pub instead of spreading them, as planned, between the Patio and the Pub. When I asked the coordinator about it, I was told the passed hors d’oeuvres were never supposed to have been brought to the patio. After a few minutes though some of the waitstaff began passing them outside. Bartending was also severely lacking during cocktail hour (again due to the lack of staffing). Even still, the event was wonderful and all of our guests had a fabulous time. I would still recommend Glasbern, just be prepared to be patient, flexible, and frustrated.

Our wedding turned out to be the day we had planned, with amazing food, (our family is still talking about the amazing cocktail hour and dinner), a beautiful setting to celebrate at and the ability to have our family and friends stay on site to enjoy the celebration with us. There was also a complimentary sit down breakfast included with the rooms, which was a very nice touch. The staff really went above and beyond to make everything perfect. Amanda, the event coordinator, was great! We really enjoyed working with her. We had an amazing time, and we can't wait to come back and enjoy a romantic weekend in the future!

building the Glasloft (and that it would be completed before our July wedding), we were thrilled to be able to use it. The food was delicious (both at our wedding and at breakfast)! The rooms and amenities were lovely. However, there was one person who made the planning process easy, reassured us at every turn, and went above and beyond on the day of our event. Amber Grace was the reason we were able to pick the Glasbern with confidence and the reason that I was able to fully relax on our wedding day. She knew exactly what needed to happen and made it happen with grace and a smile. We (and everyone in our wedding party) love Amber!!!!! We also can't wait to go back for a romantic weekend getaway at this beautiful property!

e. The venue itself is beautiful, well kept, timeless, and unique. Unlike many other rustic venues, the Glasbern has a finished and elegant touch. The glasbern offers on-site lodging which is not only convenient for guests, but an experience of its own. Many of the rooms have whirlpool tubs, fireplaces, and sleep number beds. There is also a complimentary breakfast offered for all guests which far exceeded our expectations. This allowed us to have one final meal with our guests for no added cost! Food was a focus in choosing our venue. The glasbern’s farm to table quality and large portions are not compromised even in the larger quantities to serve a wedding. They offered both private tasting and group tasting options. I would recommend tasting during the season of your wedding if possible because the glasbern uses seasonal flavors and local produce. Though on the surface the sheer beauty of the glasbern was enough to convince us, it was the staff which really makes the venue come alive. From the moment you drive onto the property there is a general sense of respect and good service. The wait staff, inn keepers, kitchen staff, and most specifically wedding coordinators are second to none. Unfortunately there was a change in staff about 2 months before our wedding. When the previous wedding planner(Amber),who helped us through the initial 18 months of our wedding planning, was no longer there we were terrified our vision and hard work would be lost. However, Amanda and Tyler (both existing employees at the glasbern) made this transition seemless. I will never forget meeting with them instead (unexpectedly) for our 2 month meeting. They had an answer to every question on my long, tedious list. Their experience, preparedness, thoughtfulness, attention to detail, hard work, and dedication is the reason why our dreams came to fruition. They orchestrated a team to achieve our vision. What we love most about Amanda and Tyler is that they cared so much about achieving our vision. Along with the help of their amazing staff, they arranged rooms full of our intricate decorations, after the wedding packed them away, and at no added cost like many other venues charge. They allowed us to add so many personal touches such as brining in our own homemade cake and desserts. This is something that many other venues would not even consider. The glasbern is the full package. From start of wedding planning to follow-up after the day of our dreams. They made us feel important, heard, and cared for. Driving home after the wedding we came to the conclusion that if our wedding budget grew by $100k we wouldn’t have changed a thing. We had the day of our dreams and could not have achieved that anywhere besides Fogelsville, Glasbern Inn.

The Glasbern is a piece of heaven on earth. A historic property, well taken care of by owners and employees who care. The location is outstanding, nestled among the rolling green hills of Pa. The landscaping was extraordinary... lush, green, and blooming with gorgeousness in every direction you looked at. When my daughter woke up on her wedding day, she said she felt like she was part of a fairytale looking out from her cottage. I’m sure every season has its own beauty. The bride and groom knew exactly what they wanted in a venue.... they didn’t want a ballroom, but wanted something natural like. Good food was a must because the groom is a chef in NYC. The food was superb... although we didn’t meet the chef, he accommodated the groom and made appetizers and entrees with a twist! The food was delicious and served at the right temperature. For those who stayed over after the wedding, a full breakfast was included. It was a full menu... your choice. While the bridesmaids were getting ready, someone from the dining area delivered breakfast for them! The lodging was perfect! I only wish we had time to enjoy our room. The rooms were very nice and so clean! For the wedding day, Tyler, who works there ordered perfect weather! The weather was perfect!! Everything went smoothly. Everyone did their part... like a well oiled machine. As I drove away from Glasbern, I thought to myself... what a perfect choice. We couldn’t have been happier.. I hated to leave. We took memories back with us to last a lifetime. Thank you to all the staff!!

Amber, and all of the staff members, went above and beyond to make sure I was having the best wedding. Also, the food was AMAZING. We went with a BBQ buffet and everything was delicious. The guests highly complimented the food during both the cocktail hour and dinner. After the ceremony, Amber allowed us to move the party to the outdoor fire pit. Every single guest told me how beautiful the wedding was and continue to tell me weeks after the occasion. I highly recommend Glasbern Inn and am so happy I found and booked my wedding here!

However, when we went to the other two venues we scheduled tours with, we quickly realized thats not the case, they were definitely not as friendly and welcoming as the Glasbern staff and coordinator Amber was. Once we signed our contract with the Glasbern, nothing changed. Amber, the wedding coordinator, was very professional, informative and friendly every time we talked to her. The day of the wedding she did so much and helped to make our day absolutely perfect! Our families are still talking about how wonderful she was. The property is beautiful and the rooms are too. Our favorite part was the heated floor in the bridal suite. Their food is all fresh and prepared perfectly. I cant say enough good things about this venue!
