Golden Hour Video is a Cincinnati-based wedding videography company led by seasoned videographer Andrew Kennedy. With over two decades of professional experience—from breaking news and corporate events to heartfelt wedding films—Andrew brings storytelling instincts, technical expertise, and a calm, professional presence to your big day.
A graduate of Northern Kentucky University’s Radio and Television program, Andrew has filmed thousands of projects, including weddings, corporate videos, and high-energy race events. He specializes in cinematic, candid-style films that let your day unfold naturally—capturing spontaneous laughter, genuine emotion, and the unforgettable moments that make your story uniquely yours.
Andrew’s love for video extends beyond weddings. He founded AKRC™ (Andrew Kennedy Race Capturing) to film local running events, and he’s passionate about supporting his Cincinnati community. A longtime supporter of Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, Andrew volunteered there regularly before the pandemic and hopes to return in the future. He also enjoys following local news, politics, sports, and events.
Outside of videography, Andrew is a devoted father who enjoys hiking, running, biking, lifting weights, writing, bowling, beekeeping, and helping his daughters feed the deer in their backyard. He also runs a small online shop selling books and creative bookmark cards he designs himself.
Andrew’s professional path is uniquely diverse. He began his career in broadcast journalism—interning at WCPO before working as a news reporter at KNDO (Yakima, WA) and WEHT (Evansville, IN). From 2007 to 2021, he worked in sales and marketing at Total Quality Logistics. He currently serves as a Data Center Technician and Facility Maintenance Specialist for HBC Facility Management (Hunt Builders Corporation).
He is also a licensed motorcycle rider, professional truck driver (CDL holder), and published author of the book Religion. In 2021, Andrew ran as an independent candidate for Cincinnati City Council and plans to run for public office again.

He is also a licensed motorcyclist, CDL holder, published author, and former Cincinnati City Council candidate—committed to every story he tells and every role he takes on.
