Great Family Reunion

a year that helped us plan the perfect music plan for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Most wedding bands are corny as hell. This band is not! They set the perfect tone for the ceremony and cocktail hour, and then rocked the hell out of our reception. All of the band members are supremely talented and left our guests amazed, and then tired from all the dancing. Book this band and you won't regret it!

Many of our guests said it was the best wedding band they had ever seen and guests at the wedding of all ages stayed until the very end of their set! (~midnight). Do not look any further, hire this band!

Talking Heads, LCD Soundsystem, multi-generational hits, etc. GFR could play it all and they added a few surprises in their setlist for me that had the energy with our friends and family at 1000%. Our initial discussions with the band helped build our vision and vibes we wanted through the night and how the tempo would build up from start to finish. The whole team was amazing to worth with, communication was excellent, and we could not be more grateful that they were a part of our special day. I'm even more excited I'll get to see them again in a couple weekends for a friend's wedding that I recommended them for. We did an 8-piece band and everyone was so energetic and amazingly talented. They are seriously worth every penny and an absolute pleasure to work with.

s the music- which was KILLER!!! I had several people tell me they’ve never seen a dance floor so packed for so long at a wedding. I barely left it myself. They accommodated our song requests, MCd the night brilliantly, and generally kept up the party vibe we were looking for. We went for the 8-piece band, along with the new lighting package, and it was 100% WORTH IT. I cried at the end of the night, so happy and grateful for all the musical fun they brought for me and my favorite people. Thanks so much to Bryan and team for all their hard work and beautiful music.

re they weren't dancers joined us on the dance floor! While I didn't get to hear the music before the ceremony, almost every person I spoke to brought up how beautiful it was without a prompt. Taylor and Bryan were incredible to work with leading up to our wedding day. They made sure that the entire day was tailored for us, our tastes, and the environment we wanted for our big day! This was an excellent decision and I would 1000% recommend the Great Family Reunion!

From the ceremony to the cocktail reception to the actual reception they brought so much fun and professionalism. They made our wedding a hit! Our guests really loved the band and they were able to quickly get our music choices from our spotify playlist. I would highly recommend if you get a chance to work with this team as they are top notch.

..I feel like I have to say that for my new husbands' sake...). Our Guests are still calling and texting us talking about how amazing everything was, especially though, the performances by GFR. If you want to feel like you're at an actual concert, please hire this company. The energy, the talent, the drums, horns, vocals.. Absolutely out of this world. Super easy to work with from the beginning, very professional and helpful, and always had great ideas for us to consider. Jonathan, Taylor and Bryan were so personable and made us feel heard. If Kenny is available, do yourself a favor and BOOK HIM. The entire team was absolutely incredible - cannot say this enough, HIGHLY recommend. Note to the band - can we do this again please!?? Our guests raved about the band. We would recommend them to anyone looking for a professional, high quality band for their wedding or event!

game from the first conversation to the day of. We are general music lovers so we weren't very particular about setting a playlist before hand and GFR did not disappoint. Everyone said they loved the band and the songs we selected and without hesitant we gave credit where credit was due... the band just knew how to keep the party dancing and having a great time. I would 100% recommend GFR and would not hesitate to use them again.

From a custom mashup song as our first dance, to a slowed down version of "eyes of the world" for our father daughter dance, to letting one of our groomsmen get on stage and sing Jack and Diane, we truly could not have had a better evening. Not to mention the difficult reception location! They loaded EVERYTHING onto a gondola! From start to finish GFR was a class act. We truly enjoyed working with Jordan, Jonathan, Bryan and the team when it came to planning the wedding and felt like they heard everything we talked about. Would recommend wholeheartedly to any fun couples looking for a great, personal vibe at their wedding celebration.

nd backdrop to our ceremony and fun night of dancing. When my then fiancee and I were beginning to feel overwhelmed by the number of vendors and choices we had to make in preparation for the wedding, GFRB came in and immediately knew how to approach choosing the type of music, the ceremony songs, the first dance, and the rest of the lineup that made our lives so much easier. They also had a wealth of choices and varieties of music conveniently set up for our listening on Spotify. GFRB were also willing to work with us on the day, keeping things open regarding our chosen ceremony music (something we couldn't lock down until a week or two prior to the day) and where they setup. They were able to learn a particular song we chose in the end within that last week or two (totally down to our indecisiveness and definitely not recommended) and played it beautifully. We also had an outdoor wedding that was threatened with cold temps and possible rain. They worked with us to wait until the last minute, and thankfully, the weather cooperated and the chance GFRB took in keeping to an outdoor setup under a tent made for the perfect ceremony and dancing late into the night. And as for the band's performance, we (and every single one of our guests) were quite simply blown away. Every piece of the band and the two (2) singers were incredible, played great songs, and made it feel like our own big concert. This will live long in the memory, because as much as we tried to make everything about our wedding weekend special for us and our guests, the band's performance took it all to another level. It felt almost like being transported away from the hectic wedding prep we had been inundated with over the prior months and had an absolutely great time, truly leaving it all out on the dance floor. This isn't just a wedding band. GFRB know what they're doing, all the way through, and we owe them so much for making our special day truly memorable. Thank you to Bryan and the team. postponement due to COVID. Jonathan and the team were super easy to work with and accommodating in shifting to the new date and communicative throughout. They were also very effective at coordinating with our venue (which was kind of new to weddings) and arranging everything so that all went smoothly on day of. Then on the day of they absolutely crushed it! They prepared several unique arrangements of personal requests for the ceremony songs and they sounded amazing - it was so special to have those tunes playing during that part of the event. Their ability to capture the mood of each part of the night was impeccable. From the customized ceremony songs they transitioned to a laid back and smooth jazz during cocktail hour, which perfectly set the scene. They easily blended this part of the night into our first dance, which was again a personal request that they made into a beautiful arrangement. Moving into the evening they absolutely crushed the house party vibes for the dancing. Their song selection was spot on for what we wanted and fit the tastes of all our guests - they had everyone at the party dancing all night. But beyond that, they are such talented musicians. We had multiple guests come up to us and comment on how incredible the band sounded in addition to how fun it was. Thank you, Great Family Reunion we could not have asked for a better band to capture such an important element of our wedding. Highly highly recommend!
