They were so very accommodating and professional. The venue is lovely, so much space for the guests outside. The staff was all great - they left us with little to worry about. The barn needs a little decorating to liven it up, but with some flowers and drapery it makes the barn a bit more elegant. The food was delish and the guests had no complaints. Just wish the dance floor was a little bigger to accommodate a wedding our size. It was a little tight but we made it work. Other than that, zero complaints.

Found Great Marsh through The Knot. Could not have been happier with our wedding day from this perspective. Everyone at Great Marsh was fantastic. Would highly recommend hosting your wedding here!

We toured Great Marsh Estate within a week of getting engaged due to the crazy pandemic bride rush - and never looked at another venue after! The Estate is stunning, and all your Bridgerton meets Pemberley dreams will come to life in the picturesque backdrops provided by the estate + grounds. The bridal suite is a stunning location to spend your wedding day, and my husband and groomsmen loved the basement (complete with vintage oak bar and pool table!). Lauren is one of the kindest people I've ever worked with, and immensely patient with my many questions throughout the 16-month planning process. Great Marsh Estate helped make our wedding dream an absolute dream, and we couldn't be more happy it was our venue!

If you really want to impress your guests - I highly recommend coming here. It is absolutely breathtaking. I had the absolute pleasure of working with Lauren and the in-house coordinator, Camillia. They are wonderful people and truly know what they are doing. I couldn't have asked for a better venue to get married at!

I can’t say enough good things about Great Marsh Estate wedding venue in Bealeton, Virginia. My daughter Hannah’s wedding ceremony and reception were held there in November. Every aspect of the event was a success, from initial planning through the sendoff of the bride and groom. My husband and I went home that evening tired but with smiles on our faces. Lauren Kruck and Camillia Lykins were consummate professionals and a great help to me throughout. They were patient, flexible, available, and on top of every detail. The manor house, the grounds, and the reception stable were enchanting backdrops to this special day. The second-floor bridal suite was a relaxing and spacious place to prepare hair, makeup, and gowns. Hannah and Jake were wed under the cedars by the pond. The reception stable and patio were welcoming and helped our guests feel at home for the evening’s events. It was a magical location.

We had our wedding in October 2021 and Great Marsh was the perfect venue for it - it was so beautiful, and the Great Marsh team was just so amazing to work with throughout this entire wedding planning process. We can't thank you enough for everything. Thank you for making our wedding so special.

THIS PLACE IS A DREAM! I just want to live in the manor!!! The Venue Director, Lauren, is so professional and kind. She was quick to answer any questions I had And her team has my whole wedding running so smoothly!! The manor is so intricately detailed and it’s just a dream to look at! The bridal suite and groomsmen quarters were perfect for getting ready and there were plenty of additional rooms for our parents to get dressed. It was absolutely perfect!

I'm soooooo happy I got married at Great Marsh! What a dream it was to have our wedding there in May <3. It is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. Lauren and her team were so amazing throughout the entire process, especially as so much was touch and go with Covid. I can't recommend this venue enough!!

Great Marsh Estate is a DREAM! The grounds, main house, stable, etc are absolutely stunning, but the team working there is incredible, as well. We rescheduled our wedding two times, but Lauren and GM were incredibly gracious and flexible which speaks volumes about how they operate as a business (meant the WORLD, especially when making emotional decisions). They had wonderful recommendations of vendors and were supportive throughout the whole process. In my opinion, GM has all the elements (and more!) to have the dreamiest wedding. Some of our favorite features below: -bridal and grooms suites (on-site so you don't have to get ready and drive over mid-day) -the stunning grounds (SO many spots for pictures) -gorgeous backup rain option -spacious, indoor/ outdoor options -so beautiful on own, you can add as much or as little decor as you want -the back lawn-- I mean!? We are so grateful we chose GM as our venue, especially during covid (I heard nightmare stories of other couples/ venue issues). We would 10000% go back and do it all again if we could, so we definitely highly recommend.

We got married recently (November 2020) at Great Marsh, and wow did it exceed any expectations we had! We chose to book Great Marsh without actually touring - risky, we know! But from the photos and the prompt, professional response from the staff (thank you, Lauren!) it was an easy decision! We had the pleasure of working with Lauren from the Great Marsh team. I can’t say enough wonderful things about her. She was clear in answering all of our questions, extremely quick in getting any details and information over to us, and one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet! She was available all throughout the process, even the day-of making sure we all had everything we needed. Great Marsh has a romantic charm that is indescribable. We thought we wanted the more “rustic” vibe for ceremony and reception - which the newly renovated stables provided, but the Manor and outdoor ceremony site is simply breathtaking! We lucked out with a beautiful day in November so we could utilize the outdoor ceremony site and I’m so thankful for that. The great Marsh team adjusted to our last minute changes flawlessly. With things ever changing during the pandemic, Great Marsh was on top of communication with the changing protocols; they followed all guidelines and took extra precautions to keep us, and our guests, safe. Day-of getting ready in the manor was magical. There are enough rooms if you have a large or small group, everyone feels comfortable and has privacy if needed. The vintage charm of the manor is something out of a fairytale. The team works seamlessly with communication and transportation from the manor to the stable. The stable was the perfect setting for a cozy dinner and reception; fire pits were a hit with all the guests too! The layout of Great Marsh is perfect for large or small weddings and the staff goes above and beyond. We could not have asked for a better venue and team, and are thankful we had such a beautiful venue for our special day!

We just got married on October 25, 2020 at Great Marsh Estate and it was a magical fairytale! It is one of the most beautiful wedding venues I have EVER seen. We knew we wanted to get married here before we even saw it in person - we loved it so much we booked without actually touring since we were planning from across the country (our parents went and we FaceTimed). If you're looking for an ethereal, enchanting, Parisian style estate - don't even think twice, BOOK it! The grounds are stunning and well manicured no matter what season. I was even more sold on this venue when I saw photos of the bridal suite. The lighting for pictures is out of this world..pink bed, gorgeous fireplace...HUGE bathroom to get ready in with your bridal party. The grooms lounge in the basement has pool tables, a bar area and so much open space to get ready in as well. There's something so enchanting about driving the pathway lined with trees up to the mansion. The inside feels like a chateau made for a king and queen. It actually rained on our wedding day but everything felt even more mystical and ethereal, so don't even worry about rain! The reception barn down the pathway from the mansion is stunning too! We weren't able to use it since our wedding was downsized, but we highly recommend it if you want a venue that has the appeal of both a European chateau for your ceremony and an upscale rustic barn for your reception. They have romantic lighting and fire pits outside for roasting s'mores. Most importantly, they will take care of you EVERY step of the way in the wedding process. The main venue coordinator, Lauren, is absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly when our wedding changed from 125 guests to 8 due to COVID-19. A special shout out to Jessica too - the team works so hard to make sure your wedding is incredible. They were able to create a smaller package for us 2 months out to the wedding date since we realized we couldn't have our normal size wedding. What I really loved was that the catering company, Serendipity, comes with the venue. It's not included in the price, BUT, trust me you will be BLOWN away by the food. It is some of the best food we've ever had. When we did our tasting we were absolutely in awe and we wanted ALL of it served at the wedding - of course we had to pick eventually :) They definitely teamed up with the best catering company in the Northern Virginia area. To sum it all up, we highly highly recommend Great Marsh Estate. We definitely chose it over any other venue in the area for it's ambiance and old world feeling. Absolutely stunning and gorgeous venue for our big day. There is no shortage of beautiful areas on this property. PERFECT.

A phenomenal experience. The venue itself is spectacular in all seasons, a gorgeous Pemberley lookalike set in beautiful rural Virginia. The stable (where we ultimately had our event due to a cold snap) beautifully seated 100 comfortably. The staff is also remarkable, and Lauren was attentive, helpful, collected, and involved throughout. We couldn’t have started our marriage with anyone else.

Where do I even begin with what a wonderful experience wedding experience we had. This place is just so beautiful and elegant that pictures do not it justice, it is a feeling you experience when you arrive! We were engaged and planning our wedding for 1.5 years and it was just when Great Marsh started renovating the barn reception site, along the way Jessica was amazing! She answered any questions I had and we scheduled multiple meetings with no problem (engagement shoot, 90 day and 30 day walk through). The management, organization and coordination made us feel at ease and confidant the whole time. The events that they had for the seasons to get all of the brides/grooms together was so nice because it allows you to see the space set up as a vendor display. Our wedding day was effortless, easy and beautiful. We could not have asked for a more perfect day. Other vendors we used (Sara Botta Photgraphy, Main Event Catering, Bachelor Boys Band, Fleet Transportation, Kristen Clemens Makeup, Posey Detail Floral and Coordinating, Sweets by E, Atoka String Quartet, On Point Transport).

I got the honor of working a wedding at the Great Marsh Estate this July and it was an amazing experience! As a wedding coordinator who has worked at many venues I can honestly say from experience that Great Marsh takes care of their couples! They are easy to communicate with, prompt in their responses, and their staff is present on the day of the event with a positive and servant-hearted attitude. We got to work a rain wedding at Great Marsh and each staff member was more than willing to do what it took to ensure the day flowed smoothly. Not only is the venue beautiful, but people are what make a place, and the staff at Great Marsh added an extra dimension of peace and grace. I cannot recommend this venue more highly!

Thanks to Jessica and the team at Great Marsh, we were able to pull off a beautiful winter wedding! The mansion is stunning--we couldn't have asked for a prettier place to get ready the morning of. Though the wedding was in December, we had our hearts set on an outdoor ceremony in the courtyard. Jessica worked with us every step of the way, from giving us great vendor suggestions to picking out linens to allowing us to make the decision for an outdoor ceremony the day before the wedding. The Stables were a beautiful setting for our reception, and the grounds are spectacular. My husband and I would not hesitate to recommend Great Marsh to anyone looking for the perfect venue!
