Also, we were under the impression that the person who had worked our venue would be working our wedding. When I contacted them before the wedding, they told us that was not the case which was a bit concerning. But, it ended up working out fine. The DJ played all the songs we wanted them to and almost all of our songs went well. Our father daughter dance didn’t go too well since they played the beginning of the YouTube link instead of going to where the song started. But, small detail and overall was great. Definitely helped the flow of the evening go better than if we had done it ourselves. The DJ had all of their equipment and did a good job keeping everyone on the dance floor!

The day and night went exactly as it was supposed to - thanks to Shawn! He was fun, funny, energetic, and once we were on the dance floor, we barely left! He worked thoughtfully behind the scenes, before, during and after the wedding (we used his photobooth service as well, and he sent all of the photos taken throughout the night to us digitally), keeping the focus right where it should be - on the bride and groom!

David met with us multiple times to make sure we were all on the same page about what we envisioned for our day. He really has a passion for music and DJing and we were lucky to have him at our rave in the woods. We had a fairly spread out venue with our ceremony, cocktail, dinner, and dance floor all in different places. I was really concerned with how Shawn would navigate this but he was so professional and easy and ended up setting up his equipment in two different spots!! It was perfect and really was such a relief. Not only was Shawn professional and talented, but he was also such a fun guy to have around!! Our guests absolutely loved him. Literally they’re all still talking about “Sexy Shawn: dopest DJ in the PNW” Our wedding reception was awesome and we really owe it to Shawn for giving 110% effort and throwing us a damn good party at an incredibly reasonable rate. Definitely hire him (and Groove On Hyde). You won’t be disappointed!
