Ike and his wife are so sweet. However their work fell very short.
I cried after seeing the video. Ike made some changes but the video is still terrible and very low quality. It is very shaky and dark.
The videographer was adjusting the ca...mera throughout the ceremony and lost the moment of the wedding entrance. The camera continuously moves, and zooms in and out.
· The video was recorded in Automatic mode. This is why you see the light having shadows and the camera going back and forth. This is not professional to record in Automatic mode. This is what is done when someone posts the camera to a tripod and lets it record.
· Automatic mode tries to adjust the scene to be as best as possible. When the light changes, the camera will adjust itself to find the best light, but this doesn’t happen all the time. The videographer didn’t take into consideration our skin color and the lighting. Accordingly, the camera didn’t pick up the tones of the skin, which confuses my color with the background. This is what Automatic mode does because it doesn’t give the camera a lot of contrast. Professional videographers shoot in Manual mode.
· The venue has a light background and all of the light is in the background. Accordingly, you see shadows on the video and not the people. It’s as if the sun is reflecting in our face to give you an idea.
· This video was not shot in manual mode, hence why it is hard to see us because the camera cannot decipher there are persons in the video with Automatic mode. The professional should know how to operate the machine to adjust lighting in these instances with darker hued individuals. This person is not a professional so they didn’t know to do this.
· The scene was not captured with raw colors. The colors are under saturated and the tones of the colors are very under saturated. The colors were not adjusted in the post production process. There was no tone given for each scene.
· There were no mood changes throughout the scene. This is why I am sure the camera was left in Automatic mode.
· The video is shaky throughout and has different lighting throughout – it is not consistent. In some areas you can hardly see my face and in others the lighting is too dark. It consistently changes throughout the totality of the video
· In some places the color is over saturated, and in other places, the color is under saturated.
· We are not framed in the camera in the right position
· The guest well wishes were not framed correctly. The backdrop is not aesthetically pleasing, and the picture of my husband and I which looked as if it is being used for a prop, is cut off during the video.
This video looks as if it was done by an amateur in my opinion. I easily could have had a guest man a camera with a tripod, because this is what was done for the wedding. This is a once-in-a-lifetime event and we cannot get this moment back as this moment is lost.
