Having Darcie on my wedding team was the best decision I ever made. Honestly, my mom and I didn't have to worry about anything the day of the wedding. I was able to sit back and enjoy my wedding as the bride. Plus she made sure I ate and stay hydrated which was very helpful. Even leading up to the wedding, Darcie was always available to ask questions to and reassure me about everything.
I interviewed three other coordinators before deciding to go with Darcie, and I'm so glad that I did. Her vibe, her professionalism - she was my wedding angel.
HIRE HER NOW. Darcie is an angel. We hired her for day-of coordination, and I would hire her 100 times again! From just two phone calls and a few emails leading up to the day, she perfectly coordinated the rehearsal and the day. She was the one to pin the boutonnieres on my guys. She checked in on me and my girls the morning of to make sure we were good. She coordinated the ceremony and when we should head into the venue, and cued the DJ for our music. She dealt with our venue when like 3 bartenders called out so we only had one for part of the night, I didn't even know about it until later! She helped set up and tear down. We found ourselves saying "Where's Darcie? Go get her, she'll know what to do!" at least 5 times that day. She really was a godsend and is amazing at what she does. Soo worth it! Thank you so much!!
Where do I even begin to explain how amazing Darcie was? She far exceeded my expectations! She was so incredibly helpful throughout the entire planning process and day of the wedding. My wedding would have not been as incredible if I had not hired her. I wouldn't have found my florist, my venue, my hair and makeup girl, photobooth, and my DJ if I didn't hire Darcie. The discounts we got with some of our vendors because we hired Darcie, more than paid for the cost of hiring her. Also during the craziness of planning through a global pandemic, Darcie was a calming presence to have, and it was great to just talk with her about what we wanted to do and have her deal with contacting all my vendors to get them on board. She helped me save so much time and stress while planning my wedding.
The day of the wedding, Darcie took care of everything. I didn't need to worry about a thing. Which allowed me to just relax and take in and enjoy getting married. When we finished up with photos early before cocktail hour, Darcie found us a side room for me and my husband to relax together away from everyone else. She even brought us our appetizers and drinks so we didn't have to get up. When we decided we were tired and wanted to end the reception an hour early, she was on top of speeding it all up and letting all the vendor know.
I wholeheartedly recommend that you hire Darcie. It will be one of the best decisions you make in your whole wedding planning process. Darcie helped make my dream wedding come true, and I will be forever grateful.
Darcie was a god send! When my original venue backed out she was on it and found us the most perfect venue. She had the best recommendations and was such a peaceful presence during covid. My day went perfectly thanks to Darcie. I would tell anyone to get a wedding planner. I couldn’t have done it without her.
Working with Darcie was one of the best decisions we made in planning our wedding. We booked her for our rehearsal and day-of coordination and we can't recommend her enough. Not only did Darcie make the planning process so much easier, but she made sure our wedding day went as smoothly as possible. She thought of everything and we were so much more at ease every time we spoke with her, even on the big day.
Darcie is amazing!!! I was hesitant at first about getting a wedding planner, but I do not regret the decision. Best money spent of the wedding. She helped coordinate with all vendors. She was calm and listened very well when times were stressful. The day of the wedding, it was so nice to not have to deal with any vendor questions, guest questions, coordination, etc. Darcie took care of everything!
We cannot say enough great things about Darcie. At first my husband thought it was a "waste of money" to hire a wedding planner. But we are from downstate so I knew I needed someone who knew of people and vendors in the local area and I found Darcie! From the start I knew she was going to be perfect. She was great at organizing, listening, providing excellent recommendations and as the days got closer, she simplified and uncomplicated the few things that were very stressful to me.
We had a two day event in Frakenmuth (ceremony Friday, reception Saturday) and she was amazing and a lifesaver through it all. It was Snowmagedon weekend and I had one really important vendor cancel on me. Darcie didn't contact me but contacted my mom, so I wouldn't get stressed out. But she didn't stop there, she found a friggin solution! So by the time I heard of it she had already arranged a different, local vendor to take the place of the cancelled vendor. That alone so was amazing and worthwhile to me.
She also has an extremely calming yet strong presence about her. Everyone knew she was in charge yet loved the heck out of her. Every question we or my mom had, she had an answer or a solution. She was 10000% accessible throughout both days. And she was so incredibly attentive. Every time my drink got low, I appeared stress, or I was needed somewhere, Darcie was there.
At the end of our second day my husband went up to Darcie and said, "look, I was not into this whole wedding planner thing, but we honestly couldn't have done it without you" and I couldn't agree more.
Thank you so much Darcie for all that you did for us leading up and during our weekend. It was so stress free and put together. We love you and will miss you!!!!
Darcie is absolutely amazing! She recommended almost all of my vendors to me and they were all too notch too. I cannot recommend her enough- she made my wedding the best day of my life and took care of everything so I could relax and enjoy. Best thing you can do for your wedding or event would be getting Darcie involved.
Darcie is a beast. I mean that in a good way. She will take everything off of your mind and make the day everything you dreamed. Best choice I made after picking the groom.
My husband and I chose to use Happily Ever After Events for our wedding. We went with a package that included an initial sit down, unlimited phone and email through out the planning process, and coordination for the rehearsal and day of the wedding. We worked with Darcie.
Darcie was a joy to work with, she responded to emails, phone calls, and text messages promptly. She recommended great vendors which was really important to us since we didn't know the area where we got married. The rehearsal and the complete day of the wedding and the reception went off without me knowing about a single problem. Darcie was available for my guests to ask questions and was the go to for all matters the week leading up to the wedding. I had more stress from work than I did about my wedding.
Over all- I would use Darcie again to plan a party in that area of the state.
Darcie Johnson is on it. She is a nononsense, get it done gal who is a lot of fun! She had us at every spot we needed to be on time. She also spent two hours on the phone with me prepping to make sure everything was just how I wanted it!
I hired Darcie for the day before and the day of the wedding. I had so many ppl tell me it was silly and that I had friends to help me. HOWEVER... It was the BEST decision I made in the entire wedding planning process. So many brides say they don't remember their wedding day bc it went by so fast and they had so much to do. But with Darcie I didn't have to worry about a single thing. From the ceremony to the cake cutting she had everything under control. At the reception she would come up and tap me on the shoulder and let me know what I had to do or what dances were coming up. I was able to really enjoy and take in our day. Darcie has many different packages to use from planning it all to just being there the day of the wedding! Either way, just think that the sole reason she is at the wedding is to make sure everything goes perfect and that's it. Mom's and bridal party don't have to worry about meeting the florist or make sure the cake got to the hall on time. It's all in Darcie's hands and she is absolutely great at what she does. I even had guests compliment how nice of a job she did!!

She was there to make sure everything went smoothly to help make our day perfect. Darci took the stress off of everyone involved and my family and I didn't have to worry about a thing!
