I was planning for my 20th wedding anniversary and a vow renewal ceremony with my wife in beautiful Kauai, which prompted my search for stellar photographers. There were a few who stood out to me, but the style, vibrance, and perfection at capturing specific moments stood out to me when I came across Harneet. He was the first on my list! Harneet was quick to respond and the most reasonably priced. Win, win and win (my first choice). I was lucky enough to find him so early that unbeknownst to him, he would become my unofficial tour guide. I would ask him for recommendations and he was very willing to offer them and more - where to eat, which beaches to go to, what to see, etc. (That just goes to show you how great he is.) Harneet was always very responsive leading up to the big day. We met up early and immediately had good vibes. He was warm, funny, and made us feel welcomed to the beautiful island. My wife, who wasn’t part of the initial back-and-forth communication, also felt very comfortable. We had a great conversation about our individual journeys. Harneet walked us through the process with clear directions and helped with pose suggestions since we weren’t sure what to do. We felt very relaxed as if we were talking (and laughing) with a long-time friend, not someone whom we just met and who lives 4,800 miles away. The ceremony was fun but the photos afterward were amazing! He captured photos of the event, candid moments, as well as our children, which are images we'll cherish and be able to relive as part of our story. Harneet was an exceptional photographer and director for our intimate wedding and post-wedding couple photos. We were introduced to our photographer, the incredibly talented, Harneet Bajwa through Kauai Elopements. From our initial interactions with Harneet, we knew we were in the best hands. We had a couple locations including our first look outside the Waipouli Beach Resort then to our ceremony location in Hanalei. Harneet was extremely accommodating and provided friendly instruction, so he was able to capture the best moments. His knowledge and experience really showed through during the beautiful sunset at the conclusion of our ceremony. He never made us feel rushed and we felt that he was able to capture an ample number of photos. We received a sneak peek a couple days after the wedding and seeing them only solidified how absolutely amazing he is. We were so ready to see them all after that! A few weeks later, we received the full set of photos. We were literally speechless! Every photo was outstanding. Every. Single. One! We are forever grateful to Harneet as since we eloped, our family and closest friends were not able to be a part of the day. Harneet is simply the best! My fiancé and I had always dreamed of getting married in Kauai with family and friends. Just looking at Harneet's style of photography we knew it is how we wanted our special moment captured so we could surprise family and friends. Communicating with him via email and meeting him in person was like connecting with an old friend . He is kind, patient, laughs along with you and helps you feel at ease in the moment by giving helpful directions where needed - I am sure the blooper reels from our shoot are nothing short of hilarious (due to us, not Harneet!). He took time to learn our vision for how we wanted the moments captures and we really appreciated his insights of what could work given the lighting, scenery etc. He cares about capturing the special moment in a way that aligns with your vision, is open to spontaneous ideas (within the time allotted) and gets the best out of the beautiful natural surrounds. He clearly sets out what you will receive and when and even delivered a couple of sneak peak pictures ahead of schedule so we could surprise some of our closest family and friends. The final set of images were easily accessible, numerous and captured everything we wanted and more. Whatever special moment you are looking to capture in Kauai, would highly recommend Harneet to capture it!

If your planning a surprise proposal in Kauai, Harneet is your guy to capture the moment. My experience working with Harneet was 5 Stars! After doing a lot of research on photographers, I reached out to Harneet b/c I really liked his style and vivid photographs. We connected a few times briefly leading up to our trip to the island so Harneet could get an idea of what I was hoping to capture and chatting through all the logistics. Harneet is easy to communicate with and helps to form the vision with his experience. He made sure I understood where he would be and the timing for everything after planning a Sunset proposal. After arriving to Kauai, I went and scoped out the “spot” on Tunnels Beach 2 days prior to my proposal and realized I wanted to be a bit further down the beach than originally planned. I called up Harneet to make the adjustments and he was super receptive and understood my vision. The nice thing Harneet did was create maps showing where to park, where he would be, and about where I should propose with times listed for everything. It was super helpful. He told me that I won’t even know he’s there and to not think about him at all. That ended up being extremely true! In the moment, I was able to be fully focused on the proposal and my girl, which was amazing. Harneet did his thing capturing the surprise and my new fiancée had no idea he was even there until several minutes after she had said “yes”. The pictures captured the surprise, the excitement, the gorgeous sunset, and the Na Pali peaks, and really just everything I had envisioned and more. My proposal was in April, so the weather is temperamental at that time and Harneet came prepared. At one point for about 3 minutes, rain started falling and Harneet ran to the rescue with an umbrella so our nice clothes and my fiancée’s hair/makeup weren’t affected. It was the little things that set Harneet apart! Another obstacle during my visit was the massive landslide that occurred in March that blocked the road into Hanalei and Haena. This proved to be a logistical issue with getting to Tunnels Beach at the end of Kuhio Hwy during sunset. We had to be the first car in line at the barricade on the day during the evening time slot to make the drive to Tunnels Beach before sunset. That means Harneet had to plan way ahead and go through the barricade during the lunch time slot and wait for several hours. He was all set up way before we arrived at the beach and made sure that he didn’t cause any stress by not being ready. Harneet goes above and beyond for his clients. He cares deeply about capturing the special moment. He is very kind and patient and never “put me in a box” telling me what to do. Instead, he lets you craft your own vision and perfect moment, and just adds his expertise to make it even more perfect. Working with Harneet is stress free. A few days later, Harneet emailed me the sneak peak photos. We were blown away by the quality and just how awesome they turned out. We were beyond excited and just so happy that we have these forever pictures. Within a few weeks the rest of the pictures were delivered. It’s been an absolute blast showing the pictures to family and being able to narrate the best beach walk of our lives. Thank you Harneet for your professionalism, kindness, excellent communication, the stress-free environment you created, and the beautiful photos we will have for our lifetime and get to show our kids someday. We eloped from Canada to Hawaii and I must admit, I was the most nervous about getting photos taken. My husband and I are naturally awkward in front of the camera so I didn't know what to expect. The moment I met Harneet I was put at ease, he has a very casual but professional presence, one that makes you feel like you're in good hands but also like you're in the hands of a friend. We were eloping from Ireland to Hawaii and although we weren't keen to spend time posing for photographs, we wanted to capture the memories to share with our family and friends. We searched and found Harneet's website and the amazing photos in his portfolio. We reached out to Harneet to learn more about his services and he was friendly and easy to deal with. He provided advice and recommended locations and times. When we got to Kauai, we eventually made a decision on the time and location. Harneet was so patient and didn't rush us on a decision - he was really flexible. Harneet was hired by our wedding planner. We did not meet before the ceremony which made me nervous but as soon I met Harneet, he put us at ease. He instinctively knew how to handle my camera shy husband and we got the best pictures. Harneet was able to give us so many keepers that I'm having a hard time deciding what pictures to pick.

My fiancé (boyfriend at the time) contacted Harneet prior to our trip to Hawaii to schedule a surprise proposal and engagement shoot. He had no idea where to go on the island and Harneet helped him plan everything (what beach, what time, where to park, etc.). Harneet was extremely discreet (I had no idea he was anywhere near us!) and perfectly captured the moment we got engaged. Following the proposal, we took photos with Harneet for about 45 minutes as the sun was setting. We both hate getting our pictures taken, but Harneet made us feel relaxed and had us focus on enjoying the moment. He talked us through some shots and let us go off on our own for others. Taking the photos was truly effortless. Within 2 days, he sent us 15 “sneak peek” photos to enjoy and share with our loved ones. We just received our full set of photos and WOW. They are incredibly beautiful. His edits are very natural, and he did a perfect job highlighting the gorgeous Hawaiian landscape surrounding us. We cannot say enough good things about Harneet’s work. If you are going to Kauai, you have to call Harneet. From planning logistics to providing the final photo and everything in between, Harneet’s photography and service was top notch. When we decided to elope to Kauai I only had 3 requirements; a great dress, a breath taking view, and magical photos to remember it all. Harneet was the perfect choice to round out my dream wedding. We booked him for a sunrise pre-wedding photo shoot. I am one of those people that sees a photo of myself that I like every once in a blue moon. So I was a little worried going into the photo session about how much I would like any photos taken that day. However, I had no need to be concerned. Harneet was great at picking the most flattering poses and fixing small things here and there while letting us be ourselves. I loved the way I look in almost every photo, which is a miracle by my standards. I went into my wedding day hoping for 5 to 10 nice photos to frame or post. Instead I have to choose which ones are the best of the best, or which ones I like the lighting in the most because they are all fantastic! Not only is he an amazing photographer, but he was also super easy to work with and great at getting back to us right away. We felt extremely at ease with him from the moment we met him. He made the shoot so fun and relaxing that by the time we were done I couldn't believe an hour had gone by and cursed myself for not booking more time. If you are in Kauai and need a photographer for anything I cannot recommend Harneet enough. I am so glad we found him.
