An experienced harpist for over 35 years, I will play my Celtic harp or orchestral harp for your wedding, party, or event. I play a wide variety of music. Covering events in northern New Mexico (including Santa Fe, Taos, Albuquerque, Los Alamos, Española, and Abiquiu) and southern Colorado. I am also willing to travel elsewhere. Events in hotels, resorts, golf & country clubs, casinos, restaurants, art galleries, vineyards, churches, public spaces, and private homes. We wanted a piece of non-traditional wedding music for my walk down the aisle, which Miriam skillfully played on her lovely Celtic harp (which was the perfect compromise for my budget compared to her larger orchestral harp). She was even thoughtful enough to record her playing it so I could hear how it sounded before the wedding day. My guests enjoyed the music before the ceremony (everything ranging from The Beatles, classical pieces and music from Pixar's UP), and best of all, I could hear the pretty tunes through the window in the room where I was getting ready, which was a wonderful surprise. She was even game for playing under a tarp if the threatening storm brought rain (which thankfully it didn't!) I highly recommend Miriam as your wedding harpist!
