Jacob (Jake) Wood is a highly dedicated professional that is set out to help through his servant leadership mentality. Knowing his whole life that there is a more compassionate way to do good business, Jake set out ten years ago to obtain multiple accounting / business degrees. After graduating Summa Cum Laude from his M.B.A. he felt something was still lacking and has since enrolled in, and almost completed his masters in social work and advanced clinical therapy. Once finished with his field work in spring 2026 he will be studying for, and taking the exam for Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Upon completion of his licensure he will begin blending all his talents together to provide the strong, compassionate service he has always known should exist in business. As one of the ministers for HartWood, Jake is exemplifying how he wants to live his life i.e. the expression of unity through love. He is grateful to be in the position to provide services that facilitate joy, happiness, and longevity in relationships. He started HartWood with his wife Shelly Hart in October of 2025 to create a new template of how to do business (we can't go into too many details, but just keep an eye on us over the next 10 years and see what we do ( ; ). Jake is incredibly grateful that you all are joining him on this journey and he will show this through his determination to help create the experiences of your dreams.

Chris Camozzi is the Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of HartWood Hawaiian Events and Activities, where his dedication to excellence and hospitality come together to create unforgettable experiences across the Hawaiian Islands. With years of leadership experience and a deep appreciation for the spirit of aloha, Chris is committed to ensuring that every event and activity captures the beauty, joy, and authenticity of Hawaii. His hands-on approach and strong business acumen play a key role in shaping HartWood’s operations and guest experiences. Chris’s military background provides exceptional attention to detail and adaptability, thriving when confronted with obstacles. The dedication he has to HartWood’s mission is rooted in a belief that every visitor deserves exceptional service, a stress-free experience, and meaningful memories that last long after their trip ends. Beyond his business expertise, Chris brings a unique creative touch to the HartWood experience through his lifelong love and respect of music. From playing his guitar, to simply selecting the mix-tape Chris’s musical prowess infuses events with rhythm, energy, and a genuine sense of fun, helping foster an atmosphere where people can truly celebrate the spirit of the islands. Whether leading operations behind the scenes or adding a melodic note to a sunset gathering, Chris embodies the perfect blend of professionalism, passion, and aloha that defines HartWood Hawaiian Events and Activities.

Shelly Hart is an Alumni of University of Hawaii at Manoa, class of 2001, where she worked as a Graduate Assistant while completing her Masters in Music/Vocal Performance. While studying music, she worked with Hawaii Opera theater both on stage and in their Education programs. She has her Hawaii K-6 Teaching License with music authorization and a California Multi-subject credential with a music authorization. She spent over 20 years working as a professional opera/musical theater performer, actor and arts educator in San Diego and Hawaii. In addition to singing, she plays guitar and ukulele. She is excited to offer her musical expertise to create the perfect atmosphere for each wedding or event. As an Arts Educator she taught music residency programs in K-12 classrooms for San Diego Opera and La Jolla Playhouse and was a part of Hawaii Opera Theater’s Ensemble Touring group for Elementary Schools while living in Hawaii. As we grow the business to add HartWood charities, she will take on the role of planning free programs and events for kids and families in our community. In addition to performing and teaching music residencies, she has served as Executive Director for two non-profit organizations: Actors Alliance of San Diego and Rancho Santa Fe Garden Club. For both companies she was responsible for overseeing all finances and operations, which makes her a perfect fit as Secretary. She was also responsible for all large-scale meetings, events, outings, and programs, serving a large member base. She looks forward to using her skills to help HartWood to create magical events and activities full of music and aloha for our clients and friends.
