They take a truly “photojournalistic” approach and capture all of the emotions of the day (for both the engagement shoot and the wedding ceremony/reception) We didn’t have to give them any direction, they thought of every photo/video opportunity possible, things we wanted to begin with and things we never would have thought of- it was awesome. Another important thing I would say is that everyone at Heartfelt made myself, my husband, our families, bridal party feel so relaxed and comfortable the day of the wedding, I am sure this is one of the reasons why the photos and video turned out as great as they did. They are fun, professional, efficient, artistic…and the list goes on. I would go with Heartfelt as my photographers and videographers every time!!! It was tough picking out favorites for an album, because we loved every single photo! Di also made us feel extremely comfortable taking hundreds of photos that day! When it came to our wedding day, Di arrived early and ready to go with me and my bridesmaids. His partner Eddie was with the groom and groomsmen all morning and afternoon. I have studied photography before and work in an art school, and my husband is a videographer/editor so we know good work when we see it :) The Heartfelt studio team just has this natural ability to see and capture the most beautiful moments of ones life. Not only that, but every bride knows that taking manyyyy pictures can get overwhelming... Heartfelt made everything so comfortable and fun for us! We even got to experience seeing the drone in action! Our engagement and wedding pictures came out incredible, as well as the cinema preview (cant wait to see the full ones)!! His packages include a engagement session which helps to get you comfortable working together. The added bonus is that those engagement pictures make for an incredible guestbook at the reception. Our guests thought it was almost too nice to write in. I also liked that the photo packages include a second shooter. This is pretty important since other photographers may charge extra for the second shooter. The most difficult part of the whole process was selecting only a handful of photos for the wedding album. I literally wanted to put all of them into my album. Luckily, you're given a very nice personalized USB drive with all the full-resolution photos to use as you want.

os and we have gotten so many complements on them from families and friends. They were so beautiful and, in some cases, absolutely jaw dropping. What impressed us most about the photos was how creative and artistic they looked. Di went far above and beyond what I would describe as "cookie-cutter photography". You would be hard pressed to find a photo in our album of the two of us side-by-side smiling at the camera. He captured us in so many different poses and expressions and in so many different settings and he really took full advantage of the event space. One such example is that he photographed us in a room that was full of mirrors so that we could see reflections of ourselves in every mirror captured in the photograph. Another great thing that he did was to take artistic close-up shots of our rings against a dark wood floor. While we did not have a video of our wedding made, looking through the hundreds of vivid and beautiful photos that Di captured really enabled us to relive the entire experience of the day; it felt like we were there! In addition to a wonderful result, the whole experience of working with Di was also a pleasure. We were both a little nervous and shy in front of the camera at first, but Di made us feel comfortable and gave us great guidance on how to be the subject of a photograph. For however nervous we felt in real life, in the photos, we looked completely relaxed and natural. Di really did a wonderful job and I would recommend him to anyone. Di was also coincidentally the photographer at the wedding of a friend of my husband's, and he had a similar great experience.

helpful all day long. I thought the pictures would be ruined because it was pouring raining all day but he had us take the pictures in my barn. I was so happy to see my photos, only 3 short weeks after the wedding and I was fascinated. Now almost 2 months later I still can't stop staring at them. He really captured the day perfectly from how romantic and dramatic my venue was to how much fun our friends and family were having.
