For context, we were celebrating our anniversary with the biggest priority being wanting a party of nonstop dancing so our DJ expectations were quite high. After finding Herbert online, reading all the positive reviews, and doing due diligence of the ongoing sets he plays in NYC and Philly we felt fairly confident he would deliver… and deliver he did! We strategically gave him a few songs we wanted to hear (as an ode to our wedding day, which he followed up on in specific detail to make sure he got just right), but mostly sent him ideas of the genres we were looking for and were depending on him to execute based on the crowd vibe. Results speak for themselves. Multiple guests commented on how great he was and that he was the best part of the day, the service crew I caught on multiple occasions dancing during their duties (and mentioned they’ve never seen a party like that thrown at their venue), and I missed the food service because I was too caught up in the dancing! Simply put, if you want a seasoned DJ with a repertoire of multiple genres over multiple decades who can read the room and set the tone all while not having to expend any precious mental capacity toward the details of the music Herbert is your guy.
