High Springs Opera House

The Opera House was built in 1895 and is nestled in the Heart of High Springs. Once a venue for Operas, plays and musical productions, The Opera House the perfect place for intimate Weddings and Rehearsal dinners! We do everything to create an incredible experience for our parties. Whether it is a wedding, rehearsal dinner or reception, we have a banquet facility that lends itself to creating the perfect setting. When you first enter the room, it will take your breath away with its elegance. The Heart-of-pine floors are restored to their original condition, rich mahogany stained cypress walls and beautiful tapestry curtains that adorn the wall. The ceiling is composed of hand painted panels individually gilded in gold and antique chandeliers. All receptions begin with the food, and here award-winning fare is prepared by the chefs at The Great Outdoors Restaurant. The restaurant was named Best New Restaurant in Florida when it was opened in 2008 by Florida Monthly Magazine and earned a 2010 Outstanding Business of the Year award from the Florida Department of State, Main Street Program. More recently, the restaurant was awarded the Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence award every year from 2015 to 2019. Our professionally trained chefs work hand-in-hand with Brittny Grant, our banquet coordinator, to build a party plan around what each guest desires. The food service includes entree and hors d'oeuvres options served buffet style with full service bar and dessert options available.
