Amazing staff and a wonderful location!Reviewed on 2/13/2015 Amie H
The Highland Lake Inn was the perfect spot for our New Year's Eve wedding! The staff was wonderful to work with, the accommodations were clean and very comfortable. Everyone had a fantastic time. Being able to have our out of town guests stay in the lodge, Woodward House and cabins was great! The food was amazing and we can't say enough about the staff. Thank you SO much for such an amazing event and for helping us make our special day perfect!
Wonderful buffet rehearsal dinner at the Seasons!Reviewed on 11/27/2015
With a fall wedding planned at the Cliffs at Glassy & Valley, we had a hard time finding a location for a rehearsal dinner for 75. The Seasons worked out beautifully for us and our families. The food was abundant and delicious. The Inn at night was cozy and inviting. A good time was had by all, and everything from slide show to dessert went very smoothly. Only recommendations I would make to the restaurant is to decorate their private dining area by adding a few seasonal decorations. We did this easily ourselves, and at little expense, but Seasons should handle this. We arrived 45 mins early to set up and guests were already there. My other suggestion would be to have "Wedding Manager" that is required and billed for, more readily available, more willing to jump in and assist, and a bit more cordial and hospitable to the guests who had arrived so early. Offer them to at least come inside the bar area or lobby area while we finished setting up? Overall a great experience and I would highly recommend!
beautiful location, management just okReviewed on 10/05/2010 Mary Dudley T
went through three different coordinators at the venue and was not contacted prior to any of the changes. beautiful location, great food, plenty of room for all guests to stay on site. had a great bonfire the night before down by the lake. front desk staff not completely knowledgable and some were rude. had some things originally promised to us that were then not carried out. had to personally check up on details often due to changing coordinators.
