Our entire experience with Biff and his amazing staff was topnotch from start to finish. We used the beautiful Springs barn and also rented one of the houses and rooms at the Manor for our guests; everyone we interacted with was wonderful -- cheerful and efficient. Having a venue with easy access (no steps) was wonderful for older guests, and the adjacent bride and groom suites were fabulous. Rosemont made our daughter's Christmastime wedding magical -- highly recommend!

I recently coordinated a school dance at Historic Rosemont Manor, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, the stunning architecture and beautiful grounds set the perfect backdrop for our event. The spacious ballroom accommodated our 500 guests comfortably, allowing everyone to mingle and dance the night away. The staff was incredibly attentive and ensured everything ran smoothly, which made the evening even more enjoyable. The ambiance was elegant yet inviting, creating a magical atmosphere that we all loved. I can't recommend Historic Rosemont Manor enough for any special occasion—it truly made our school dance a night to remember!

Rosemont Manor held the most beautiful wedding for us. We chose the Manor and carriage house. We loved the historical take and timeless look of our wedding venue. We stayed onsite for the whole weekend with our closest friends and family. This time was so special to us and made everything so convenient. Our rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, breakfasts, wedding, and reception were all held at Rosemont Manor. The staff was all accommodating and attentive. We had an easy check in process and great service for our breakfasts. The rooms were clean and charming. We had all our needs taken care of by our planner via Rosemont Manor: Collette. She was able to walk us through our wedding planning to make everything so easy. She had great ideas and was able to help us bring our vision to life. She was always available for us and able to answer all our questions. I could not recommend Rosemont Manor more!

We held our wedding at Rosemont Manor / Springs in November 2024 and could not have asked for a better venue! The weather for our wedding was amazing and we were so excited that we were still able to do portions of the event outside since it was sunny and still relatively warm for November!
We rented the entire property from the weekend and were able to make use of both the Manor facilities and the Springs facilities. The carriage house was perfect for our welcome party (~145 people) and the barn was perfect for our reception (~175 people). The getting ready areas at the barn and blue ridge studio near the house were perfect for the wedding party (the blue ridge studio is what the girls used and it was huge!). We also rented out the 11 manor rooms and 3 cabins on property which allowed us to have 60+ people stay locally on site (family, friends, and the entire wedding party) – a huge perk since the wedding party didn’t have to travel to and from the venue over the weekend! We originally toured the property in late 2023 (with the owner, Biff) and immediately fell in love with the setting. We had toured a couple other properties in the DMV region, but we were blown away with Rosemont and all the planning that went in to their facilities (indoor back-up locations in the event of inclement weather for the ceremony, back-up generators, etc.).
Celebrations Hospitality is the caterer that you have to use through Rosemont, but no need to fear because both their food and service was incredible. We did a buffet style meal for the rehearsal dinner and a plated meal for the reception, and both were exceptional (we continue to hear from guests how great the food was). David is who we worked with through Celebrations and he was super easy to work with!
Another benefit of Rosemont is that you can supply your own alcohol to be served by the Celebrations Hospitality bartenders, which is a HUGE cost-savings opportunity. All you have to do is pay $40 for an ABC Banquet License (can easily be done online) and pay a one-time $500 alcohol handling fee to Rosemont. We brought everything in ourselves (beer and wine from total wine in Leesburg and liquor from the ABC Store in Leesburg)!
Sarah was our assigned planner through Rosemont (her services were included as part of the package we booked) and was with us from the start of the process all the way through day-of execution, and she did a fantastic job!

The Rosemont Manor was the 2nd venue that we toured and we fell in love. The venue was beautifully maintained. The view and surrounding area was peaceful and relaxing. The employees and wedding planners were very quick to answer all our questions and concerns.

As soon as we completed our first tour of Rosemont Manor, we knew it was the venue for us. Everyone we interacted with was professional yet welcoming and kind, and we found the best planner ever in Tait! She was the planner assigned to us, but we truly couldn't have asked for a better planner. She truly listened to what we wanted, helped guide us in making decisions (without overstepping), and coordinated everything beautifully and seamlessly the day of. Furthermore, the location of Berryville, VA is gorgeous, and getting married at Rosemont allowed us to use Sponseller's Flower Shop, who also has the nicest staff and helped us save money. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding day, and Rosemont had a lot to do with that.

Oh my goodness, where do I even begin with Historic Rosemont Manor? This place is wedding magic personified! We had the most fabulous experience tying the knot at this stunning venue, and I'm bursting with excitement to share all the details. First off, let's talk about the venue itself. It's like stepping into a fairytale. The Rosemont Manor is a picturesque dream come true, with its elegant architecture, beautiful gardens, and charming historic vibes. Seriously, every nook and cranny is Instagram-worthy – I felt like a literal princess as I stepped onto the front veranda to a backdrop that only the Blue Ridge Mountains can offer. Now, let's give a virtual round of applause to the real MVP of our wedding – Jaime, the brilliant planner extraordinaire. This woman deserves all the awards! Jaime was not just attentive, but practically psychic! She anticipated our every need, handled any curveballs with grace, and made the whole planning process a breeze. From recommending vendors to coordinating the timeline flawlessly, Jaime is the secret weapon that made our wedding day perfection. And the staff? Oh, don't even get me started. These folks are wedding wizards! Polite, professional, and ready to make your dreams come true. They went above and beyond to ensure every guest felt like royalty, and we were able to soak in every precious moment without a single worry. Now, let's talk about the cherry on top – our October wedding with FIREWORKS! Yes, you read that right – fireworks! Historic Rosemont Manor pulled out all the stops to make our special day absolutely unforgettable. Picture this: exchanging vows under a crisp fall sky, surrounded by the warm glow of fireworks – it was straight out of a romance movie, and I couldn't believe it was our wedding. If you're on the hunt for a wedding venue that's not just fabulous but also comes with a superstar planner like Jaime and a staff that treats you like family, look no further than Historic Rosemont Manor in Berryville, Virginia. Our hearts are still bursting with gratitude for the memories they helped create. Trust me, this place isn't just in the wedding business, they are in the magic making business!

Rosemont, both the location and Staff are exactly what you want in order to create a dream wedding. The location itself is beautiful, you'll enjoy being there and your guests will appreciate their time there. The staff is what truly makes this fantastic location the best though. We chose this spot for our wedding because Biff sat down with us and walked through our wedding plans, budget, and gave us advice on every item, even when it would have potentially cost him money. The attention to detail and personal interest is not something you get from most vendors. Our Wedding Coordinator Monica was the single best choice we made when it came to planning. Monica reassured us we were on the right path, ensured we met deadlines, helped cut through deadlock decisions, found us vendors within our budget, and made us feel so less stressed when it came to planning. On the Day of the Wedding Monica had everything in hand so that we could focus on just being in the moment and enjoying ourselves.

I would like to start this review that the venue itself is beautiful, although it is on the pricier side. I originally booked Historic Rosemont Manor for a wedding date in 2020 (paid in full by then), but then COVID hit and I needed to postpone the wedding. I was informed by the venue that I would be allowed to have any wedding date as long as it was a weekday, or within 120 days for a weekend date. I am in the military and this provided some frustration with the inability to really plan for a wedding date in a normal timeline. After two deployments, I finally was able to determine a date with Rosemont. I am grateful I was able to have my wedding without losing the money I paid for the venue and the venue-provided wedding planner. I was not given a new contract until I asked multiple times, and it took them 17 days to provide a contract. This new contract included a “Non-disparagement” clause, which by definition is when a contract prohibits a party from leaving a negative review for the performance of services rendered. They never asked for the contract back, so I never ended up signing it, leaving me with a 2-year old contract that did not have this restriction.
On top of booking the property as the venue, Rosemont requires use of their wedding planning services (an additional fee). Knowing I was going to be deployed prior to my 2020 wedding, I purchased the “Gold Package” (top package they offered, very expensive) which included “Partial Planning + 180-Day wedding coordination.” The amount of wedding planning help I received was minimal, and was only provided after persistently asking questions for help. I was only given a handful of planning meetings and the Wedding Planner was so hard to get a hold of and seemed like every other thing he had going on was more important than helping plan my wedding; he did have medical issues at some point, which I sympathize with, but the venue could have easily provided a different wedding planner to ensure my wedding was not impacted by a single individual having medical problems. On top of being hard to get a hold of, the wedding planner did a very poor job of retaining information that I gave him, this ranged from answering his questions to just informing him of specific details; this became incredibly frustrating to continuously have to repeat myself even though he had the information in writing via our email discussions. Due to the difficulties I ran into with the wedding planner, I had to hire a second one. It was night and day on what services she provided vs what I had been getting up to this point. She was considered the “secondary” planner but she was doing all of the planning and was the only thing that kept me sane while trying to work with Rosemont's wedding planner.
The venue also charged a fee for every small addition. They charge for day-of lunch, even if you’re getting it delivered; I also only brought the alcohol day of, and they wanted to charge $500 due to the "increase of liability coverage placed on Rosemont by [their] insurance company” I discussed this with some of the other vendors and they had never heard of someone doing this. All decoration was a fee and they did not provide people to put the decor together even when I had provided all of the pieces; my second wedding planner and my family were the ones that set everything up.
Altogether, although Historic Rosemont Manor is beautiful, I would not recommend this venue to anyone looking to have a wedding in Virginia

The Rosemont Springs barn was the absolute perfect venue for our wedding! It is so beautiful and so many of our guests told us how perfect it was. The whole Rosemont staff was helpful throughout the whole process and provided amazing recommendations. Our wedding planner, Monica, was a superstar and made planning a wedding fun with zero stress. If you’re looking for an amazing venue with even better people, Rosemont is the place!!

I had my wedding at Rosemont on June 2nd, 2023. Choosing a venue for your wedding is perhaps one of the most important decisions in a bride’s journey. And let me tell you, I could not have been happier with my experience with Rosemont. When I first inquired about this facility, Biff, the owner, gave me some amazing advice on how to start the daunting journey of planning my own wedding. I hadn’t even chosen Rosemont as my venue and he was already giving me wonderful nuggets of wisdom regardless if I chose his establishment or not. It set the tone for how my experience would be at this wonderful place. It’s a place where its caretakers will go above and beyond to make your day special.
My wedding planner, Tait Simmons, was like that as well. She was an absolute godsend, and I couldn’t have done it without her. She did so much more than I thought a wedding planner would do. She helped me with so many details, even down to how to make my family and friends feel like they were helping and being a part of my day. She took so much pressure off me, and I will be forever grateful. I only found out weeks later how many fires she put out without me knowing anything about it. All to ensure that my day was as beautiful and lovely as I had always hoped it would be. Thank you Biff, thank you Suzanne, and thank you Tait from the bottom of my heart. You all made my day one that I will never forget.

Rosemont Manor is a beautiful wedding venue and the perfect choice for our needs. We really wanted a venue that had a separate ceremony and reception space, with a classic rustic feel, which Rosemont is absolutely able to provide. The property itself absolutely beautiful. Prices were reasonable considering all that was included, and all the staff were lovely to work with. Our wedding planner Tait was so amazing throughout the process and a huge help on the actual day. I’m not sure the day would have been as smooth as it was without her so we are very grateful. They also gave us a comprehensive preferred vendors list to choose from, and made using outside vendors easy as well. We have no regrets choosing Rosemont as our wedding venue, and as a result having Celebrations Catering and Tait as our wedding planner and will promote and recommend them to other couples!

Our wedding was held in September 2022. We rented the facility from Friday to Sunday, which included the Manor (and all it's guest rooms) as well as two guest houses that could house about 25 guests each.
In a word, it was spectacular! Our guests raved about how it was the best wedding they had ever attended.
Our wedding planner, Michael Haymaker, helped us design the perfect wedding...from a guest check-in reception with accoutrements, to fireworks at the end of the night. We benefitted from Michael's years of experience, from helping us find the perfect vendors (e.g., videographer, shuttle service) to ensuring that every detail was attended to throughout the weekend. I'm not sure he ever left the premises!
The venue was beautiful and elegant. The staff helpful and friendly. It is the perfect spot for a destination wedding. Our entire wedding party and a few close friends and family stayed on-site. They could party safely, without having to drive, while also saving a few dollars. Jamie and the front desk crew went above and beyond to ease our check-in.
The only downside of our weekend occurred when the General Manager did multiple tours of the premises to potential new clients during the day-of the wedding. In fact, we were doing our first look photos shortly before the wedding was set to begin when one tour occurred. It was awkward for both the wedding party and the potential client. Tours should be restricted to earlier in the day.
Otherwise, my daughter and new son-in-law could not have had a more perfect day.
Thank you, Rosemont.

My fiancé-now-husband was the one who actually found this venue and boy, am I glad he did! Not only is the facility gorgeousssss (seriously), but their staff is so friendly and accommodating. I truly felt like a priority and not "just another bride." Our families stayed at one of their guests houses on site (all 22 of us), which proved to be so much more cost effective and convenient than hotel rooms. The facility was clean, well-lit, organized, air-conditioned, and truly reflective of the elegant barn wedding we had envisioned. Highly recommend! Our guests are still raving!

My wife and I booked the Rosemont Manor for our wedding last Fall and had an incredible experience. If you’re reading this and considering this location for your big day, we cannot recommend it enough (and we looked at a TON of venues in the Western Virginia area). First and foremost, our wedding coordinator, Michael Haymaker, went above and beyond to ensure that we were well taken care with all the additional considerations with respect to Covid. Not only that, but the entire venue staff were incredibly accommodating through our planning process and were timely in all correspondence.
When we first toured the property, we were given the choice between hosting our event at either the manor or the barn (both located on the property). We opted for the manor and also booked the guest rooms and 2 cottages for friends and family. The Bird’s Nest suite (the newly wed cottage) was perfect for my wife and I’s first night as a married couple. For anyone with a taste for history or the gorgeous property, the stay is absolutely incredible and feels like a true bed and breakfast from the past. It was very beautiful and super convenient to have family and friends staying on the property the whole time.
Planning leading up to the event took place over a year and half and never once did we feel ignored or forgotten. Between coordinating the guest stay and ensuring our vendors were updated on information they needed, we never had to question that everything was on track. Michael wanted to meet with us several times to kick things off and then numerous times leading up to the event to ensure nothing fell through unseen. We always knew that these meetings were important, but in hindsight, this meticulous planning and organizing was critical to the success of the event. We never could have hosted anything half as extravagant without all the planning that Michael offered and assisted with. Nothing was overlooked.
All the work we did with Michael was highlighted and then elevated by the clear level of experience and professionalism all staff exhibited on the big day. We received numerous compliments on how friendly and accommodating everyone working was. My wife and I were particularly blown away by how everything just worked. With the unknowns of trying to do a mostly outdoor event (Covid) we were worried about the weather, but the Rosemont staff handled everything exceptionally. There was one last minute hiccup (due to an oversight on our part) and we didn’t have space in the reception area for a photobooth we had requested. Michael stepped in and told me not to worry about it. Needless to say, it was taken care of before we even had time to worry about it. The evening was truly flawless.
We would recommend the Rosemont Manor to anyone even remotely considering it. Their experience, professionalism and genuine care for their patrons was of the highest caliber. You will not regret booking with Rosemont, period.

I am the Father of the Bride (FOB). A truly memorable event. My daughter booked Rosemont for the entire weekend. We arrived on Thursday (FOB,MOB and B&G). Everything was first class and top rate. The entire staff was courteous, polite, helpful. They catered to our every need (We had over 80 guests staying in the Mansion and the cottages on the campus). We used their wedding planner Michael Haymaker. What an incredible job he does. My daughter's wedding was supposed to be in Jan. 2021 but (COVID) changed that. Despite that, Michael was at our beck and call for over 2 years. He worked closely with my daughter to organize and plan her wedding, from the "Fireworks display at the end of the rehearsal dinner (AWESOME!) to the Cigar Bar, Club DJ and scrumptious dinner at the reception. The Manor was in full Christmas decoration. Michael did this as a favor at the request of my daughter. They bend over backwards to accommodate you. My 89 year old father commented that the whole experience was overwhelming and amazing "I felt like I was in a movie". We had over 180 guests and I heard nothing but rave reviews about the venue, the staff, the food, the drink the whole experience. I would do this again in a heartbeat. It was worth every penny. We had the time of our lives!! Go to Rosemont. Ask for Michael and you can't go wrong

My husband and I are still floating on air after our lovely wedding weekend at Historic Rosemont. Due to Covid restrictions at the time of our celebration we had a small, intimate wedding that was grand in every way—thanks to the outstanding Rosemont staff and team of vendors ( that we will review too, separately). They all went the extra mile, WAY above and beyond to help all our guests feel comfortable during this crazy Covid time. The venue is elegant and beautiful, and we found the staff to possess these same qualities. Each and every person we came in contact with was not only highly professional, but also very warm and welcoming. My husband and I are very forgetful, disorganized people, but we were in excellent hands with our wonderful wedding planner Michael Haymaker. He remembered every detail we forgot, and helped us navigate all wedding weekend details and coordinate all wedding vendors. He was a real lifesaver! Our wedding celebration at Historic Rosemont was like a fairy tale come true, thanks to Michael and all the Rosemont staff. We are so grateful to all of you!

We were married here on 11/9 and opted for the full-weekend package at the Manor House. We chose Rosemont because while we live in the DMV, all of our family and friends were coming from out of town, and we wanted a venue where guests had the flexibility to stay on-site and use it as a hub to explore the Shenandoah valley in the fall! It was the first venue we looked at, and really the only one we loved. From start to finish Rosemont delivered. We really truly felt we had walked into someone family home and then just happened to have a wedding. We worked with Michael and Marta as planners, and Marta was hands-down the best part of our day. She was kind, flexible, personable, and on-top of everything. We had a few game-time changed due to cold weather, and the whole crew just rolled with it. Everyone was so hospitable, the Manor House is beautiful and full of history, and grounds are fun to explore. Their team did such a wonderful job executing my vision, and took all our personal touches, decor and ideas and really made it fit and flow. Last thing I wanted to mention is the Caterer. If you get married at Rosemont you must use their partner caterer, Celebrations Catering. Please don't be turned off by this! David from Celebrations was phenomenal to work with, and was so on top of all of our little details that deviated from the norm. The day of, the catering team were all phenomenal and made sure everyone was taken care of. If you're a NoVA bride, looking for a true weekend-wedding getaway experience, we can't reccomend Rosemont Manor enough!

I recently provided DJ service for a couple at Rosemont Manor in October 2019 and it is definitely one of the best venues in Northern Virginia with an amazing staff. As a vendor, it's very important to work as a team on-site with other vendors in order to satisfy the couple's needs for their special day. I worked directly with Anneka and I can't say enough about how friendly and professional she was at all times. I highly recommend Rosemont for couples who truly want a rural wedding experience in a beautiful venue and wonderful staff. I look forward to hopefully working at Rosemont in 2020!

Our wedding at Rosemont was absolutely PERFECT. Michael Haymaker has thought of everything. I didn't realize how much of a difference it makes to have a wedding planner that exclusively works with the venue, but then I realized that he's seen every possible scenario and can spot a potential problem a mile away. As soon as we arrived on Friday (we booked the venue for the whole weekend), there was nothing left to worry about and we could relax and actually ENJOY the party we spent so long planning. People always seem to have a story about something that went wrong on their wedding day, but for us it was just perfect.
We also really loved being able to stay on site, as did many of our guests. This took all the stress off of worrying about the afterparty and making sure everyone gets home safe. Our guests could party as late as they wanted.
We didn't realize this while we were touring venues, but we were actually able to cut down some of the cost of vendors since the location is closer to West Virginia (we live in DC so the price difference was huge). Michael had great vendor recommendations for us that were both affordable and high quality.
Overall, we just can't get over how perfect the wedding turned out. It was over a year ago and our friends still say it was the best wedding they've ever been to. It wouldn't have happened without Michael and the Rosemont team!

Rosemont was a beautiful, elegant place to get married. Overall, our experience here was very good! Michael Haymaker, the venue coordinator, has exceptional attention to detail, and it very focused on making sure your day is perfect. The grounds are stunning, and you'd be hard-pressed to find a more elegant, quintessentially southern estate wedding venue. It really was lovely!
I can't help but think the venue is a bit overpriced, though. As wonderful as it is, we ended up spending a LOT more on our wedding than previously budgeted, and I'm not sure it was all warranted. There are several "hidden" (or at least nebulous) fees and extras thrown in, which surprised us a little. With that aside, the venue itself was really wonderful, and Michael Haymaker was terrific. Most of the other staff was friendly and helpful, with some exceptions.
I'd recommend Rosemont to people getting married in the area. It is a full-service venue with on-side accommodations, which was important to us. You can spend the whole day getting ready there, and have both your ceremony and reception in the same place. I loved that! Even with my few nitpicks, I'm very happy we chose to get married at Rosemont, and it will always hold a special place in my heart.

Where to begin...first I will start off by saying how overwhelmed I was searching for a venue from California in Virginia (where I am from). Planning a wedding is stressful in itself, but across country just added an extra layer to the mix. But the moment that my (now) husband and I walked onto the grounds a year and a half ago to the moment we checked out we could not have dreamed of a better experience. The grounds are breathe taking and the staff is wonderful and accomedating. Michael Haymaker, our wedding coordinator, is the most wonderful and organized man we ever met he was always one step ahead and built a relationship with us (from across the country) that could not have been replicated. We are extremely fortunate to have had him and the rest of the Rosemont team by our side.

Historic Rosemont Manor was the only venue my husband and I looked at when we were beginning our wedding planning process but we fell in love with the grounds and the history behind it upon seeing it and touring it. The venue really fit in with who we are as a couple and we knew it would be the perfect setting for our wedding day. Michael and the Rosemont staff did an exquisite job pulling off all the details for our wedding day! Michael was a HUGE help on the day of the wedding as he helped tie it all together and brought our vision to life. There were several rooms for all of our wedding guests to stay and a gorgeous honeymoon cottage, which we stayed in the night of our wedding. Rosemont Manor is tucked away in the Blue Ridge Mountains and it feels like a vacation even though we reside in Virginia. It is naturally beautiful and we are blessed that we were able to have our wedding there. They currently have plans to expand their property and we are so excited to go back and see how it all turns out! We may try to go back for our one year anniversary! We will never forget our experience and how wonderful the staff made us feel there. Thank you to everyone at Historic Rosemont Manor for giving us the most magically beautiful day and one we will never forget!

This venue is everything you could want in a wedding venue. We rented the venue and cottages for the entire weekend, having a getaway weekend for our families and bridal party. It really felt like we were at home the entire time. They allowed us to personalize the manner with photos and flowers. The vendors for this venue were exceptional and if you go from who they recommend, they know exactly what is needed from each other to have your day run smoothly. Michael , the wedding coordinator, did an amazing job keeping the weekend running flawlessly. Despite the pouring rain during our ceremony, it was the most perfect and magical day. I wouldn’t change a moment of it.

Last month we held our daughter’s wedding at Rosemont Manor, and could not have been happier! The manor is set in the rolling hills of Virginia, and at anytime is a beautiful place. However, when “readied” for the wedding, it became a truly magical! The view from the back porch is lovely - the ceremony was held there on the back lawn. Following the service, we had the cocktail hour on the Portico, and then the reception at the carriage house, which is a short walk down a candlelit path! All of this was carefully over seen by Michael Haymaker, our Rosemont wedding planner. He made sure every detail was attended to. This enabled me to enjoy the whole weekend without any “ mother of the bride” panic moments! Overall, I cannot think of anywhere that could have been a better place to celebrate one of the most important days of our families’ lives!

I had my fairytale wedding at Rosemont Manor. I have absolutely zero complaints about the whole experience, and I actually MISS planning my wedding. Rosemont was everything I could have come up with in my wildest dreams. Our wedding planner Michael handled all the last minute drama with complete grace and authority. He scheduled and thought out everything to a T! It was the smoothest day I have ever been a part of, and everything (I mean EVERYTHING) was beyond perfect.
They know and keep the vendors they like - for a reason! They are phenomenal and they know their stuff! It all came together like a movie set and a broadway show. Easily the very best night of my life thus far. My husband and I felt loved, supported, and completely enjoyed ourselves.
Who doesn't want to get married in a stunning mountain view from an historic porch with grounds and activities all around? No way we could have gotten even close to the night Rosemont put together over in Loudoun County.
TEN STARS!!!!

We had our wedding weekend at Rosemont Manor and couldn't be happier with how amazing it was! Our coordinator, Michael Haymaker, was essential in carrying out all the details. Not only did Michael have great suggestions on vendors and ideas as we planned the wedding, he truly went above and beyond the role of coordinator to make sure everything was flawless through the whole weekend. From fitting tuxedos the night before, arranging table settings and 150 nameplates in alphabetical order, and conducting the timing of the ceremony perfectly with our music choice, Michael did it all and our wedding would not have been perfect without him! I have received so many compliments from our guests on the beauty of the venue, how well everything was coordinated, and how much fun they had! If you are planning your wedding in the Northern VA area, you must visit Rosemont Manor and ask for Michael!

If only I could give Rosemont more than 5 stars. When we started planning our wedding almost a year before our wedding day, Rosemont was the first place we visited. We fell in love almost immediately. Even though it was a bit out of the way from downtown DC, we couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else. The atmosphere of Rosemont is elegant, without being stiff. We had our ceremony outdoors at the end of March and it provided the perfect backdrop. More than half of our guests were coming from out of town, so the onsite accommodations were a must. We were in awe of the manor bedrooms and the history behind them.
Once we booked and started working more with the Rosemont staff, they were able to make our wedding feel like a dream. Michael is absolutely wonderful to work with it. He is very professional, organized, accommodating and calming. He was always there to answer a question or just remind me to remember to cherish my wedding day. They were incredibly patient with us since we were still adjusting accommodations in the guest houses up to a few weeks before the wedding - not everyone paid attention to the RSVP date on the invitation. They also made sure that we could continue the celebration after the ceremony with an incredible reception space and a lovely breakfast in the manor the next morning.
Our wedding weekend went smoothly and was one of the best days of our lives mostly in part to the beauty of Rosemont Manor and it's incredible staff.

I found The Rosemont online and scheduled a meeting with the staff upon my fiancé's return from a work trip. During our visit, we immediately fell in love with the location, the staff, and the space for overnight accommodations for our immediate family traveling to attend the wedding. Gifford, Bill and Sabrina were beyond reproach in their attention to every detail to our wedding and meticulous service to us and our families during our weekend at the Rosemont. The venue was amazing and our guests were blown away at its beauty, the elegance, and history. The orchestration of the service and music were pristine and captured our elegant simplicity. Their staff and catering presented an elegant, simplistic, comforting weekend brunch style reception that gave our guests and families a relaxed feeling with comfort food set to amazing music and conversation. We, our families and friends highly recommend the Historic Rosemont for your wedding venue. The venue itself, the staff, and the catering provided are second to none. We still receive compliments on our wedding and reception to this day ( a month after the actually wedding).

Rosemont was a beautiful venue to have our wedding; the vast estate and mountain backdrop were perfect. We visited multiple venues before Rosemont, but easily decided on Rosemont after our first visit. We received many compliments on the venue and beauty of the location. The ceremony was on the lawn off of the grand portico and the reception was in the carriage house. It was important to us to find a location with overnight accommodations for our immediate family, have an intimate ceremony, and reception. Rosemont worked with us and provided suggestions to help us stay on budget. We decided to use Rosemont for our day of wedding planning and tuxedo rental. The wedding day was very organized and stress free, Michael did a great job orchestrating the event. Our only regret is not booking the venue for an extra hour in the evening. The carriage house really sparkled when the sun went down. We would highly recommend Historic Rosemont Manor for your wedding.

I LOVED my wedding at Rosemont. Julia, the wedding coordinator helped along the way to ensure an awesome day. My family thought the grounds were beautiful. We even rented some of the cottages for out of town guests. They handed my husband a unique Rosemont Wedding symbolic coin which is a nice reminder of our special day.

Rosemont made our wedding the dream that I have always hoped it would be! I often hear from friends that their wedding day was a blur - that they barely even remember it. I am so thankful that my husband's and my wedding at the Rosemont estate was a different story. The extended weekend Rosemont provided for our friends and family allowed my husband and I to soak in every moment, every relationship, every meaningful conversation with individuals who mean the absolute world to both of us. Rosemont made our guests feel so cared-for through personalized assistance and attendance to their room, food, and personal needs. Rosemont set up intimate tables for dining, where we could catch up one-on-one with old friends while Rosemont staff made us feel like royalty by the way they cared for our needs and requests.
The wedding weekend and time leading up to it had an aura of peace and stress-free joy. This was especially due to Celebrations Catering and Rosemont's wedding planning services. Beginning from our first free trial tasting with Celebrations, we felt they "catered" to us all the way. They provided top-notch service from planning the intricacies of the dishes, to great communication, to accommodating our finicky seating requests, and absolutely delicious food! They handled our every request -- from specific cocktail drinks to specific food combinations -- with ease!
The wedding planning services at Rosemont also made the planning process and entire wedding weekend a breeze!! Leading up to the wedding, I was able to hand things off to Michael Haymaker, one of Rosemont's wedding planners, knowing that he would not only arrange things on my behalf, but do so well and with patience and poise. On the wedding weekend, I know for a fact that Michael and other staff were "going to bat for me" by calming inevitable little wedding-day ruffles...ruffles that I didn't even know existed because the staff addressed them with such grace without even needing to bother me! This all shows they cared about my husband's and my peace of mind, creating a magical weekend with friends and family alongside the man I adore more than any other person in this world. I hope that you, too, can have the wedding experience that my husband and I did. Trust me: Rosemont makes it happen.

I'm happy to recommend Historic Rosemont. I used this vendor for ceremony & reception venue, as well as catering, rehearsal dinner, and wedding planning. I found the Rosemont sifting through reviews, and decided to pay it a visit with my husband - he fell for the venue's elegance, and as we could both picture our wedding there, we selected them. Michael Haymaker, the director of weddings, is a magician - always ready with the right answer to questions we didn't even know to ask. He is passionate about seeing brides happy and relaxed as the wedding approaches, and our planning sessions with him were fruitful. If he asked a question I wasn't prepared to answer, he generally had a few options or narratives for me to consider, and always made me feel he was there to help me realize my dream wedding.
The catering at the Rosemont is spot on. Michael worked very hard to stay within our price point while still generating a delicious entree of mango salsa over chicken which my husband likened to a delicious chutney. Our rehearsal dinner took the form of a casual BBQ, which allowed family and friends to loosen up on the day before our ceremony and get acquainted. Michael correctly predicted rain, and had the meal moved indoors discreetly, going so far as to devise centerpieces for the indoor tables at the last second. It's clear Michael has years of experience in knowing what makes successful weddings, and he readily dispenses this experience by guardrailing couples and their families towards a grand time. Throughout the process I found the venue very responsive to my needs and requests, and they let me know in picking them one of the points of pride for the staff is a set of backup plans for each event - no matter what comes your way at Rosemont, the staff is prepared to move quickly & efficiently to keep the event on track. I appreciated their thoroughness and attention to detail.
The Rosemont also doubles as a bed and breakfast, and our wedding package used 10 of the manor's bedrooms, allowing the wedding party to stay the night after the reception dinner. We all left the next morning after a delicious hot breakfast of french toast, which we also happily recommend.
Price is the only potential downside to selecting Rosemont. It lies at the upper end of venues, though they certainly work hard to cater to a wide variety of brides and budgets. This reflects a 'peace-of-mind' premium - this is a venue which takes success seriously, and will not fail you. This extends to vendors affiliated with Rosemont - while Michael worked hard to stay in our price point, vendors which meet his standards are generally on the upper end of their comparable peers, leading us to research some of our own vendors to stay within budget.
From the arboretum and rolling hills which served as the backdrop to our wedding, to the sparkler sendoff as we left the carriage house, Rosemont earned our business by ensuring the success of our dream wedding.

Beautiful location. We had our wedding at the end of October when the leaves had changed and the weather was perfect. This is definitely a location for anyone who wants amazing wedding pictures. It is extremely convenient that the manor has guest rooms and cottages, making it easy for your guests to have fun and not have to drive. The day of the wedding was flawless, everyone loved the location, and our pictures are perfect.
Leading up to the wedding day, however, was a little bumpy. Starting off with the price; we first went to look at the manor not having any idea of the price. They kind of trick you; they show you the property, make you fall madly in love with it to the point where you are 100% sure this is where your wedding is going to be held, and THEN they give you the price. They have different packages for the different days ranging from yikes to sweet Jesus (with absolutely no room for negotiations).
The Historic Rosemont Manor only allows one catering company to cater your wedding. I found this to be very frustrating because we were not thrilled with the food we had tasted and the price was very difficult to negotiate. It would have been nice to have our options open. Although the catering staff on the day of was incredible and the food was better than expected, it would have been nice to be able to look into different companies that offered lower prices.
When you sign your contract with Rosemont, you are expected to have a wedding coordinator on site the day of the wedding (which is completely understandable). You are able to hire your own coordinator, but Rosemont has one on staff for convenience. We decided to hire the Rosemont coordinator, since it would have been easier than hiring one of our own. On the day of the wedding, our coordinator was so wonderful, everything was perfect, with a big thanks to him. But leading up to the wedding day, we had to answer the same questions 3, 4, 5 times only to have to fix his answers later on. I was called the wrong name and was sent other couple’s wedding day information, which was pretty frustrating. So, even though he was great on the wedding day, we definitely had our nerves leading up to it.
We did not hear from the owner, Biff, too much during our planning process. We noticed a $50 marriage license charge on an invoice and asked our coordinator if this charge could be removed, since it was only $50 and were already spending a lot of money on the venue. We were unaware of what the process was (we figured it was just a signature). This question offended Biff so much that he felt it necessary to send us a response himself, instead of having our coordinator answer on behalf of him, like he typically did. His response was rude, belittling and completely unprofessional. Again, we did not know that the $50 charge was for signing AND delivering the license, or we would not have asked. He responded telling us that other places charge hundreds for this service and that we are lucky to have him do it for us at that price and he would be more than happy to make us find someone else to do it. We were so shocked that the owner of a place we were spending so much money at would talk to us the way he did.
Overall, even though we had a few headaches along the way, our wedding day was picture perfect. I would recommend The Historic Rosemont Manor to anyone who wants beautiful pictures and a great weekend. If you have low patience and like to negotiate, this might not be the place for you

We reserved Rosemont Manor about 1 1/2 years before our wedding date to ensure we got the October time frame and it was well worth the wait. The house is immaculate and the grounds are amazing. One of the best reasons to book Rosemont is Michael Haymaker (Director of Events.) He is awesome! We hired him as our planner and it was possibly the best money we spent. He is easy to work with and very responsive to our ideas. He even set up a vendor fair and brought vendors to us all in one day. He made the day perfect and everything that we had hoped for.

Rosemont has it all! Gorgeous ceremony locations, beautiful reception area, and great staff! We particularly loved this venue because you can really make it a "wedding weekend" at Rosemont. Most venues your wedding is over after a few hours, but at Rosemont your special day lasts so much longer. In my experience, not many people can honestly say they had the perfect wedding. Thanks in large part to Rosemont, I am one person who can.
My husband and I wanted a beautiful outdoor place to get married, in the scenic Shenandoah. We wanted to find somewhere in Virginia convenient to airports and hotels, since both of our families would be traveling from diverse states.
We scheduled the First Lady Wedding package at Rosemont. Working with Rosemont made planning our wedding probably as stress-free as such an endeavor could be. Staying in one location all weekend—for the rehearsal dinner, wedding, and reception—gave the whole weekend a wonderful sense of self-containment and continuity. And the historical beauty of the house is not to be rivaled.
We ended up doing a rehearsal dinner inside, with our wedding out on the lawn, and the reception in the gorgeous Carriage House. Each event had its own distinct flavor, but each was surpassingly elegant and lovely, and a perfect reflection of our taste and style. The wedding out on the lawn was absolutely amazing and beautiful. The grounds made for absolutely stunning wedding photos. The Carriage House, decked out in fairy lights, candles, and old-fashioned barn lanterns was perfect, exactly the picture I had in my mind.
Rosemont partners with Celebrations Catering, which meant we didn’t have to look for or test out caterers; an excellent one was built right in, and Celebrations and Rosemont work together very well, coordinating table linens, chairs, tables, decorations, menus, and layouts.
We got married on a fall afternoon, and were very lucky to have perfect weather and stunning golden light. Our photographers took pictures of us separately getting ready, and here’s something I hadn’t anticipated when planning the wedding: The preparation photos are almost as good as the ceremony ones, with the Rosemont suites as backdrops. (The dapper groomsmen in the red Churchill suite, and the demure bridesmaids in the sunny Eisenhower suite.) They’re lovely intimate portraits.
We had a lot of family and large wedding parties, but we were able to house all our immediate family at the Rosemont itself for the entire weekend. Some of our close friends and the rest of the wedding party were able to stay in the houses on the grounds, which was very convenient and cozy for everyone. It was perfect. Having everything in one place allowed me (and everyone else in the wedding party and family) to remain calmer than we would have any other way.
We didn’t have to rush around driving anywhere, nothing important got lost or left behind, and we all loved running into and out of each others’ rooms getting ready. The suites are so beautiful and comfortable that it was like being at a luxurious hotel, but with the cozy intimacy of staying at someone’s house. It’s as if, for this weekend, you miraculously inherit a gorgeous estate, run by family who want nothing more than to see you happy.
I would highly recommend anyone get married this way. The First Lady Package offers a wonderful value; having family housed all in one place was priceless, the house itself is beautiful, and the scenery is unmatched. The experience is one I will treasure, and the photos are gems that will last forever. I had no idea a wedding could be all at once beautiful and perfect, and also so calm and so much fun. Rosemont is a perfect place to have

Brittany,
Thank you SO much for taking the time to share your experience here at Rosemont...
. We were absolutely delighted to help make your wedding everything you wanted it to be. We love being able to sit down with couples, right from the beginning, and learn what their vision is for their wedding, and see what we can do to make that dream a reality. As you said, it is important to balance the "pie in the sky" ideas with logistics and budget, and with the flexibility of so many options at Rosemont, we can almost always find that perfect balance to make sure that the wedding is just what our couples want, without "breaking the bank".
You and Ian did a great job of utilizing the different spaces here at Rosemont -- from your rehearsal dinner in the main Manor, to your ceremony on the lawn, to your gorgeous reception in the Carriage House, and of course, staying overnight on the property with your family and friends. We appreciate you communicating how fun and memorable a "destination wedding" can be, and all just a stone's throw from DC and Dulles airport.
Last but certainly not least, we want to thank you, Ian, and your wonderful family and friends for being such a joy to work with. We are blessed to have been a part of your big day, and we are so glad to have you as part of the Rosemont family. Be sure to come back and see us again soon!
