I got married January 18, 2020. Yes, it’s a bit late for a review, but I finally am going on my honeymoon (on our 1 year anniversary) and have time on the flight to thank my vendors. I initially fell in love with the Houston Heights Fire Statio...n due to its layout, affordability, location, and most importantly, it was a blank canvas and location that would allow me to bring all of my own vendors. There aren’t many places in Houston that allow you bring all of your own vendors. When I signed the Houston Heights Fire Station, the coordinator at the time (more so just a financial manager) was an older lady, who was very sweet, but hands off. I have to admit, I was a bit nervous of how hands off she was. To my surprise the Houston Heights Fire Station hired a full -time coordinator, Dewayne, and his helper, Elizabeth. Boy, are they a blessing to this place! They were SO AWESOME to work with! They helped with the layout of my reception upstairs and downstairs, let me come in multiple times to take measurements and see how certain décor looked, and even let me set-up the day before the reception since no one else had the venue booked the day before. Dewayne and Elizabeth made my planning such a breeze and helped me create my dream reception! I can’t thank them enough for their helpfulness, kindness, and overall great personalities. It was truly a pleasure working with them! I HIGHLY recommend anyone to book the Houston Heights Fire Station for a memorable event, and great people to work with.
