I found Hunters Green Country Club at one of many bridal shows. My parents and I went to visit and fell in love with the view of the course and venue. Hunters Green went through some changes within the private events department. I heard from Christine as soon as she got into the position. She made me feel at ease and my mom as well. The food was great as many of my guest told me. The venue was very accommodating to all of our needs. I had very little issues throughout my planning process with Hunters Green. I would recommend the venue for anyone looking to get married in the Tampa Bay area.

Hunters Green hired all new staff after Brittany left and turned into a disaster. I was cut short of rehearsal time to 20 minutes when I paid for an hour. My ceremony I paid for was supposed to have a golf cart ready to go for pictures to find out it wasn't there. My maid of honor ran to get it. My seating chart I made from the diagramed Christine Webb gave me and went over together was all wrong the day of my wedding. When it was time to dance with my dad he was in the back corner. My buffet was missing my whole pasta station and condiments for my hamburger sliders, which turned out to be hard balls of beef. Also my appetizers I picked out were wrong. I bought top shelf alcohol that they were charging people for and giving away bottom shelf. The last hour in the night they ran out of cups and wouldnt serve ANYONE unless you brought them a cup. Not even the groom. My 5 tear cake only had the bottom tear cut and my aunts had to pass it out because no one was there to do so. My ceremony chairs were supposed to be cleared away and cocktail tables with ashtrays brought in for my cigar roller and that never happened. I was told my card box and gifts would get locked in Christine's office for safety and never happened. I was with my maids loading it all up in my car. I was told the day before we had to set up my decorations and clean up. So now the limo I bought my in laws and parent couldn’t ride in as they had to stay to clean. Two staff member wearing staff shirts came out after the wedding shouting "wedding crashers where’s all the food and cake for us" not realized my family is there. All the left over food promised to us to take home after the wedding wasn't given. I got my cake, it wasn't ever taken back to be cut. 100 people didn't eat till an hour later because Christine wasn't there to tell them it was there turn after I asked where half my food was.

I absolutely loved having our wedding at East Lake Woodlands. It is elegant sophisticated and not cheesy like some of the country club weddings ive been to. We recieved several compliments on the food and setting of the event. Wouldnt have wanted any different for our special day. Much thanks to the staff there who were more than excellent!!

Paul did an amazing job setting everything up before and after. We had a blast and the food was great!
