Amazing ExperienceReviewed on 7/07/2013 Samantha C
We initially booked our wedding at the Grand Cypress because my husband and I both had great memories of previous stays at the resort. However, the facility and especially the employees helped make our wedding flawless. My (now)husband and I wanted the wedding to be at a resort since both of our extended families live all over the country and we wanted those family members to have plenty of activities over our wedding weekend. The amenities at this resort in general are outstanding, just go to the activities page on their website and you will find something for everyone. In terms of the actual wedding day, the entire staff was immensely well prepared and thoughtful toward our entire wedding party. The catering staff know how to host a party and the food/alcohol was outstanding. The entire event went so smoothly thanks almost entirely to their catering manager Christine Calace and day-of coordinator (which was included in the package). While this venue is by no means "cheap", if it is within your price range, it is a bargain for the quality of the facility, the amenities, and the staff.
Breathtaking venue!Reviewed on 10/30/2012 Stephanie L
The hotel is amazing. I fell in love immediately with the cascade room when I toured the hotel. The fountain, the spiral staircase, and the view overlooking the lake was the icing on the cake. The room looked so beautiful as the sun was setting. The food was gourmet and delicious. No was never an answer and I loved it! The staff was very accomodating to my attention to detail. I would recommend this venue to anyone. It really is all in one.
Gorgeous Location!Reviewed on 10/23/2012 Blakely T
I recommend having your ceremony and reception at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress. The venue is absolutely beautiful and the grounds make for perfect wedding photography backgrounds. The staff was extremely helpful and the catering manager was such a blessing to work with. Our families live out of state and having everything in one location was so much fun and easy for our friends and family to take part in our wedding festivities. We had an absolute blast spending time with our families by the pool and dining in the restaurants on property. Our guests were so excited about all the amenities and the proximity of all the local attractions and restaurants available to them during their stay. The food was amazing and our guests loved the variety of foods and the quality of the food for a wedding reception. The cake was also included in our package and I sent in a photo of what I envisioned and the final outcome was absolutely stunning. I could not be more happy with how our wedding and stay turned out. I would highly recommend the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress for all of your wedding needs.

I had my wedding here and it was absolutely amazing!! We had a few hiccups and they had started their renovations a few weeks before but overall it was a great experience and I would recommend this place especially to people with out of town guest. I had about 70 and they loved being by the pool and Disney so close by!

The Hyatt is the definition of professional and class! My wedding day was absolutely great. From day one they worked with me to customize the wedding of my dreams. Not many people can say that their wedding day was perfect, but i can honestly say that may day couldn't have been any closer. They handled everything from decor to lighting to food, even my cake which was amazing and actually tasted great! You can't go wrong with the Hyatt.
Hidden Gem in Lake Buena VistaReviewed on 2/23/2012 Christine L
As my photographer put it, there are few resorts in Orlando that has as many different types of scenery as there are at the Grand Cypress. Cypress Pointe was the perfect ceremony venue to allow the great outdoors be the decor. The hotel was being renovated at the time, so my cocktail reception had to be changed last minutes because the contractors didn't move the equipment in time. The terrace right outside Trellises offers such an intimate environment for the cocktail reception among some lush greenery. La Coquina's floor to ceiling windows offered the perfect lighting during my luncheon reception. No fancy decor needed...just the natural beauty outside and through the windows did the job. The food, the FOOD was out of this world! The staff really took care of the bride and groom during the reception. Overall, this hotel knows what they are doing. At times, I felt like I needed more information to do my planning since I did not intentionally hire a wedding planner, but in the end, things came together. If it wasn't for the renovation putting a dent in my cocktail reception, my wedding day would have been nothing less than perfect.
Outstanding service - Absolutely perfect!Reviewed on 6/24/2011 Sharon F
The Hyatt is not only a beautiful resort, but everything about the wedding was perfect. Juliana in catering did everything absolutely possible to make sure that my day was perfect and everything went smoothly. The service staff was great, and we've gotten SO many compliments on the food. We were also provided with a ceremony coordinator, which was very helpful. And the best part was the resort is dog friendly, which meant we were able to have our flower dog in the wedding! Additionally, for having our wedding at the Hyatt, we got 4 free nights at any Hyatt, which made our Hawaiian honeymoon MUCH more affordable. It might not have been the cheapest venue, but was definitely worth the cost!
Beautiful venue!Reviewed on 12/19/2010 Amanda M
Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress was a fabulous venue for our wedding. They have several gorgeous places to have the ceremony, but we chose Cypress Point. Our luncheon was supposed to be outdoors on Trellis Patio, but it was too cold, and we moved it inside. There was no fuss, and I didn't have to worry about anything. The only bad thing was that I had to plan primarily through email, since I can't be on the phone at work and there's a three hour time difference between me and the Hyatt. Jessica took her time replying to me, and I had to send several emails more than once.
