We just got our wedding gallery back and cannot even choose which ones we want to get printed because all 1,118 photos are amazing. Our families and friends who have seen the gallery cannot stop talking about how amazing the photos turned out as well.

We are very pleased that we booked Toby! He will do our wedding in a few months, but we just got the photos back from our engagement session and we love them. On the day, Toby was very punctual and efficient, he wasted no time but we also didn't feel any pressure at all. We got back almost 130 images from the course of an hour, lots of beautiful golden hour shots that we can't wait to frame and share! s - which we received 3 days after our wedding. Well over a 1000 pictures!! Amazing! Photography was the highest priority for us when hiring vendors and I'm so incredibly grateful we found Toby.
Toby and the second photographer arrived at the hotel where I was getting ready with my groomsmen and my wife was getting ready with her bridal party. They took amazingly detailed shots of my wife's dress and accessories and of her getting ready. I was pretty dead-set against doing a first-look, but we had gifts for each other which we exchanged with a door between us and Toby captured the moment perfectly. He and his assistant, who happens to also be his wife, left ahead of us to get setup shots of the venue. He captured the ceremony perfectly and immediately after the ceremony we took photos with family, our wedding party, and just us as newly-weds. The second photographer took photos of our guests and cocktail hour. Throughout the wedding if there were any photos we wanted with certain people or anything else we wanted photos of he was incredibly accommodating. We even went back out after dark to take more pictures which are some of my favorites. It was everything we wanted and so much more.
My wife had the misfortune of falling ill the week leading up to our wedding and we were worried she would not like the photos because she felt so unwell at the time. We both however, love every single picture and you cannot tell she felt under the weather.
Everyone loves our photos - especially us! - and we will be hiring Toby again for any photographer needs we may have in the future.
Toby, thank you so much for all your hard work and patience! We will cherish these memories for the rest of our lives.

My one request was that my Husband and I didn't miss that much of the wedding, taking pictures. Tobias organized the time for pictures PERFECTLY. I barely missed any of the cocktail hour, and we snuck away for about 20 minutes to get pictures of just the two of us, with the sunset in the background during the reception. Just those 20 minutes of pictures produced some of the most beautiful pictures i've seen! I honestly can't stop looking at them.

We contacted several photographers in the process of finding someone who was the right fit. Some of the others were a tad more responsive. They wanted to meet for coffee, do a practice shoot, and sent several follow up emails. This is not necessarily Tobias' style, but we chose him anyway because his work was the most beautiful. I can promise that on the day of the wedding (which is what's most important) you will not be disappointed. I would consider myself very picky and would hire Tobias and Lauren again in an instant (and have since recommended them to all of my friends.)

I didn't notice him during the ceremony taking pictures, but he was stealth and got some great shots without being in the way. He gave good direction and had preplanned all the wedding day shots around Balboa park. Also, he processed the wedding photos so fast, we got the wedding pictures back in 3 days, all online and easy to share and download high res pictures, for family and friends without any extra fees.
