re's a dispute about whether my coordinator "refused" four of the up lights as ILD claims, or if my coordinator was advised that we didn't need all 10 up lights, as my coordinator contends. Regardless of whether ILD was contractually able to keep my money for those four lights (they probably do), I was satisfied with the products we rented. However, I was and am DEEPLY dissatisfied with how I was treated in trying to understand why I didn't have what I had paid for. The last I heard from them was a threatening email from their legal department accusing me of "theft of service" if I discussed pursuing a potential refund with my credit card company. I would not trust them ever again, and I urge you not to give them the opportunity to treat you as badly as they treated me. There are too many other good lighting companies in Austin.

h me after a lot of phone tag, I decided to use them based on their reputation and price. Everything was set several months in advance - price, date, location, time, details etc... I was called 3 days before my wedding that someone had given me the wrong quote and if I didn't come up with an extra $600 within 24 hours they would cancel my event. The phone person had even told me they made a mistake when calculating my amount but never apologized, just threatened to cancel days before my event. This was all the while I was soooo busy with work and family the days leading up to the wedding. With no other options that close to the event, I was pressured into paying the 'ransom money' despite their mistake and this having been quoted and planned months in advance. It was a very negative experience for myself and my wedding planner. I believe my venue even removed them from their vendor list following multiple negative interactions with people within the company trying to figure out this last minute issue. I tried to block the experience out to keep positive memories only of my wedding - most all others were indeed positive. I was later contacted about 6 months after the wedding by someone from their company to see if they could use promotional photos from my wedding. I then responded with a thank you for reminding me how I would like to address the very negative experience I had with their company prior to my wedding and honeymoon. I received no response as clearly they did not want to deal with any 'problems.' Just more marketing and photos. I would not recommend this company. I had a very negative experience. Very poor customer service and communications with multiple layers of the company from the ordering to pricing and billing and even 'marketing and customer service' months down the road.

ILD offers tons of colors to choose from, the ability to change colors throughout the night, and allows you to custom-make a monogram. Katherine is so easy to work with, very responsive, and truly wants your event to be lit perfectly. ILD is amazing at what they do!

e I am a big fan of Pinterest, I just so happen to come across ILD's page and saw that they had done quite a few events with Camp Lucy. Established vendor relationships with Camp Lucy was something very important to me from the beginning. Now because the theme is Fiesta, I wanted to have festoon lights, along with our personalized "papel picado" strung from the banisters inside the reception hall. This was something I knew hadn't been done before at Camp Lucy. When I approached ILD with the concept, they met it with great enthusiasm and as a fun, new challenge for them. They pretty much handled it from there. Their representative, Jamie, contacted Camp Lucy and discussed the plans with them and called me back within 48 hours to tell me that everything was approved! With everything on my plate, this was such a relief! Within a week, details were discussed and (electronic) contracts were signed! I will say that I was extremely tempted to throw in their illuminated, disco dance floor! Great website, even better staff and ever since I added ILD to the mix, I've easily become more excited about the atmosphere. I know my guests are in for quite an experience that day and ILD's contribution will only make that evening that much more memorable!

The venue had some strange rules all vendors had to adhere to. ILD respected the rules and went out of their way to mind them. The end result surpassed my expectations. When dusk came, the venue transformed into an illuminated masterpiece. The lighting they created and curated set the tone for an enjoyable evening for all after the sun went down. They completely transformed the space while keeping budget constraints in mind. I highly recommend them to all of my friends looking for an A+ lighting vendor.

nderstand that for us lighting had to be perfect! We feel that lighting is almost the most important part of an outdoor wedding, after a few conference calls with ILD (since we were planning the wedding from a different state) they put all our ideas and references into reality! We discussed so many different lighting options and they mastered all the things we dreamed up together perfectly! Our wedding location had very strict time constraints with set up really late and break down the same evening of the wedding, however ILD worked directly with our location and made the process so smooth and amazing! I was blown away, and we heard a lot of our guests say it was the most breathtaking wedding they had ever been too! We had beautiful soft amber light everywhere, zig zag string lights over the dining tables, beige paper lanterns over the dance floor, paper bags with leds all along the paths leading to the reception, it was perfect!!! Thank you Katherine and everyone at LED for making the lighting look and feel like a magical fairytale!! We will never forget that night and the beautiful glow that surrounded us!

We have been able to have lighting even in places where there were no outlets by using their wireless LED lights. I recommend ILD Lighting to each and every one of our brides and I couldn't imagine referring anyone else for such an important day!

It's a brand new location so the lighting design was something they had never done before and they had to provide two separate lighting designs for both ideal and inclement weather conditions. Even with all of the plans up in the air, they never broke a sweat. Great job. I'll be pleased to work with you guys anytime.

a lighting accent for one of the lounge settings. The techs did such a great job with the execution and staged everything so perfectly that everyone thought they were permanent fixtures. Every detail was carried out and even exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend working with them.
