Reading both in Hebrew and English, it was very insightful for my family specifically as they are not super familiar with Judaism. Furthermore, explaining some of the meanings behind what was being said allowed my family to learn why certain things were important and how it was relative to our marriage. My wife and I would recommend Rabbi Gruber for any upcoming ceremony as he really helped make our day special. We even asked him to add a few more details to our already drafted ceremony rather late in the process and he was happy to do so! Rabbi Gruber is very friendly, professional, and is also reasonably priced. If you’re in the need for his services, we’d highly recommend him!

David was so thorough throughout the entire process and was so easy to work with. We met him once in Dallas and had multiple FaceTime calls with him leading up to the wedding. We enjoyed talking to him so much that we often went over the scheduled time for our calls! I actually get quite nervous in front of large groups (we had 150 people at the wedding) but during the ceremony, standing under the chuppah, I felt so comfortable, like it was just the Rabbi, me, and my husband. He prepared a script for the ceremony so that everything would go according to plan. He was the perfect combination of reverence and humor. Ultimately, his diligent preparation and dynamic officiating helped break down barriers between the faith groups, leaving everyone honored, respected, and more educated. He was also very flexible in the ceremony. For example, we asked if he would bless challah bread afterwards - which is not traditional at a Jewish ceremony - and he was more than willing to do it. Everyone in attendance shared their appreciation of Rabbi Gruber and his efforts to bridge the gap between two faiths. It was truly a unifying celebration.

My husband loved Rabbi Gruber from the first time he spoke with him on the phone. By the time we met Rabbi Gruber in-person in New Orleans we felt we already knew him. We already liked him prior to the ceremony, but Rabbi Gruber blew us and all of our family and friends away during the ceremony. No one is perfect, but he was as close to perfect as you can get! He sang BEAUTIFULLY and incorporated both of our religions (Judaism, Catholicism) in the most perfect and beautiful way. He even learned a little of my grandmothers language and said a prayer in her language. As "icing on the cake", he threw in humor during the ceremony at the best times. He made our special day exceptional. I'm not a "religious" person, nor am I normally emotional; but the way he designed and lead the ceremony made me a cry-baby [in a good way]. haha! I was moved to tears of happiness during so many moments and a big part of that was due to Rabbi Gruber making our ceremony so magical.
