Rabbi Gruber did a great job for our interfaith wedding! He got to know us before hand and worked very well with our reverend. He was flexible with a change to our wedding date and communicated with us effectively. We would recommend him!

As an interfaith couple we were looking for a rabbi to perform our ceremony and it is fairly difficult to do so. We were pleasantly surprised to find Rabbi Gruber. He got to know us as a couple through multiple sessions and tailored our ceremony to our needs, personalities, and wishes. He is very easy to talk with, very accommodating, multi-lingual, and truly vests in getting to know the couple. Everyone commented on what an amazing job he did with our ceremony and how personable he was afterwards. You cannot go wrong with Rabbi Gruber if you are looking for a non-traditional Jewish/inter-faith ceremony.

My new husband and I are big Rabbi Gruber fans, and we have already recommended him to friends getting married later this year. He was patient, understanding, professional, friendly, and responsive throughout the whole process. He was great about incorporating different traditions to reflect our various backgrounds. During the ceremony, he kept everyone's attention and beautifully articulated all of the traditions to ensure everyone felt included. 10/10 would hire him to marry us again.

Rabbi Gruber performed one of the best services we have ever been to, and we were very fortunate that he was able to bring that same level of detail and sincerity to our wedding. We met with him many times, which attributed to how he was able to honor our heritage and culture, and provide wonderful detailed commentary about our union. We had a Jewish/Christian ceremony and Rabbi Gruber was phenomenal. During prep and writing, he never judged, always listened, and was open and easy to talk to. He met with us several times and was available via phone or email if we needed something in between meetings. The service he wrote for us was tailored to our relationship and the things WE wanted in our ceremony. He is an amazing cantor, and really made our ceremony more special than we could have imagined. We highly recommend him for your singular or interfaith needs - you will not be disappointed.

Rabbi Gruber was amazing to work with. He helped us put together a wonderful ceremony that included all of the aspects we wanted. He made the process easy to build our ceremony and really got to know us throughout. He traveled to our wedding in Montana and it felt like we had a friend officiating our wedding and not a stranger. Rabbi Gruber officiated our wedding in Costa Rica in February and was incredible. Not only did he work closely with my wife and I to deliver a beautiful ceremony, but he adapted to a few stressful moments in a way that made things so much easier on us. When the flight we booked for him was cancelled due to weather (two days before ceremony!) he worked with the airline directly to rebook in time - without asking us to step in. When winds were a little intense during the ceremony, he brought a bit of levity, and adapted on the fly to accommodate. His delivery was beautiful. Half of our guests had never attended a Jewish wedding before, and Rabbi Gruber was excellent at explaining the meaning behind every moment. His orthodox background, combined with his more reformed views made for an excellent combination of knowledge and lightness. Perfect for maintaining tradition, without being too attached to dogma. Overall, Rabbi Gruber was amazing. Highly recommend!

We are an interfaith couple (Jewish and Catholic), so we needed an officiant that could execute a dual officiated ceremony with a Deacon. Our wedding planner recommended, Rabbi Gruber to us. We met with him on zoom to discuss, and we knew he the was perfect option. He helped us so much craft a perfect ceremony that encompassed traditions from both sides. We met with him 3 more times over zoom to finalize everything before the big day. The ceremony was perfect in every way and personalized to our liking. We felt our ceremony reflected who we are and each of our families’ traditions. He is quite a bit more pricy than most officiants but it’s worth it. He’s traveled the world to do interfaith ceremonies, so if you need someone for an interfaith wedding, Rabbi Gruber is your guy.

Exceptional wedding. My bride (now wife) loved Rabbi Gruber, and it was important to me that she be happy with whomever officiated our wedding. She chose a rabbi, which, although made me happy, I was worried she would feel Catholicism would be alienated. From the moment we met Rabbi Gruber, we both felt he was perfect for us, and we were right! He tailored his ceremony, not only to include both religions, he also took the time to really understand who we are as individuals and incorporated that into our ceremony. We loved it, all our guests were raving about him. Many Christian guests told us they now wanted Rabbi Gruber to perform a ceremony for them, even though they weren't interfaith, haha! My wife and I couldn't be more thankful our dream ceremony became a reality, mostly in part to a beautiful, emotional, and comedic (at times) performance. We had a great experience with Mr David Gruber. It was an easy choice for us since my twin sister had hired him for her wedding taking place 8 months prior and it was a hit. David is personable, funny, knowledgeable and makes the entire experience enjoyable from Start to finish. He takes his time, gets to know you as a couple, and delivers a perfect ceremony. We received many compliments about him from guests. No doubt I would recommend him to anyone!

My son and daughter-in-law had an interfaith wedding with David Gruber as the rabbi. My wife and I were ecstatic with the outcome. Rabbi Gruber is bright, knowledgeable, warm, engaging, personable and has a wonderful sense of humor. He worked with a minister he had not previously met as though they worked together for years. He managed to bring spirituality and warmth to the ceremony which left everyone feeling uplifted, respected, and entertained. He is clearly as passionate about what he does as he is talented. On top of that, since our wedding was held in another country, he was great company at all the pre-wedding tours and festivities.

Rabbi David as we dubbed him was an absolute amazing addition to our wedding. After our first rabbi ghosted us, we were desperate to find a rabbi who would conduct an interfaith ceremony in Mexico with only about 6 weeks' notice. This was no challenge for Rabbi David. He had all the time he needed to get to know us and the priest (who only speaks Spanish!). He handled the planning process seamlessly and professionally. Our ceremony was as personalized as if we had known him our whole lives. People asked us if he and the priest had done ceremonies together because of how well they co-officiated. And he was hilarious! All night our guests were quoting Rabbi David and asking if we requested he add humor or not. 10/10 would recommend. He was absolutely fantastic!!

Rabbi Gruber was a fantastic Rabbi to work with throughout the process of planning and hosting our wedding. My wife and I come from two different faiths, and Rabbi Gruber was able guide us through the process of building a ceremony that reflected this through his own experience and expertise. I like to think that we threw a heck of a reception when my wife and I married on Halloween 2021. In the weeks since, I've spent time with friends and relatives who were guests at our wedding. The first thing they will inevitably say to me to comment on how beautiful my bride is. The second thing they say, like clockwork, is something along these lines: "Where did you find that rabbi?! He was amazing!" Although Rabbi Gruber specializes in interfaith weddings, we were looking for a fully Jewish wedding without the red tape of joining a temple. Through socially distanced Facetime sessions, we and Rabbi Gruber hit it off immediately, getting to know each other over the course of the last year and a half. Although there's a little bit of 'homework' for the couple, he made the process of planning the ceremony fun and stress-free. And what a ceremony it was! Just tremendous. Rabbi Gruber delivered just an all around beautiful service that we will never forget. Our guests, many of whom have never attended a Jewish wedding before, are still gushing over it. Do yourself a favor and book Rabbi Gruber for your wedding, because you won't regret it.

Rabbi Gruber did a great job officiating my daughter's interfaith wedding. He met with the bride and groom several times to get to know them and help them sort out their vision of the ceremony. Because of this process the officiating was personal and touching, with splashes of humor and tradition. I loved that he explained the traditions of the chuppah, the breaking of the glass, sipping of the wine and translated the Hebrew prayers. The guests loved the ceremony. One of the best decisions for our wedding! I was brought up Jewish and my husband was not but neither of us are very religious currently. I found Rabbi David Gruber through google searches and it seemed like the right fit right away! Several people told us after our wedding how perfect the ceremony was, intimate/personal but fun! Working with Rabbi Gruber was fantastic. Not only is he friendly, nice, and easy to talk to, but the help he provided was invaluable. He custom designed our wedding to fit the needs of our Catholic/Jewish wedding and made special effort to really understand each of us and our story. The minute we met Rabbi Gruber over Zoom we knew he was the best fit for our ceremony. Originally our plan was to have a Priest/officiant and a Rabbi so that we can honor both of our backgrounds. After our first meeting with Rabbi Gruber I turned to my fiancé and said “we’ll if for some reason the priest doesn’t work out, I’m absolutely fine with Rabbi Gruber because I absolutely love him!” And funny enough a few weeks later the priest we booked backed out on us. He took the time to get to know us and really made our ceremony special! We even hid the fact that he was a Rabbi and did a big reveal to our guests and family at the ceremony, it was fantastic. Highly recommend no matter what faith you are!

David was amazing!! We did an interfaith wedding with 2 officiants. David and Bonnie who is a minister. We had them rotate saying different passages and paragraphs. They were both willing to work with us and make it exactly how we wanted it. No pressure from either of them on how we should do things. We incorporated a unity candle as well as both of us breaking the glass. :) So far our guests have told us that our ceremony was amazing and not boring. They really enjoyed it. I would highly recommend David to work with you on whatever you want for your wedding ceremony.

Rabbi Gruber officiated our wedding in November 2020 and we’re so glad he did! Not knowing he was familiar to the area, it was nice to bring Rabbi Gruber back to the area he once lived. Rabbi Gruber crafted a meaningful yet humorous ceremony for my wife and I. This was especially nice given the current state of the world with the coronavirus pandemic and all. Reading both in Hebrew and English, it was very insightful for my family specifically as they are not super familiar with Judaism. Furthermore, explaining some of the meanings behind what was being said allowed my family to learn why certain things were important and how it was relative to our marriage. My wife and I would recommend Rabbi Gruber for any upcoming ceremony as he really helped make our day special. We even asked him to add a few more details to our already drafted ceremony rather late in the process and he was happy to do so! Rabbi Gruber went above and beyond expectations to officiate our wedding in October 2020. On top of coronavirus restrictions and a constantly changing regulatory environment, Rabbi Gruber braved a surprise Montana snowstorm to make our event happen. He is an extremely rare person who made both of our families happy, one Jewish, and one Christian. He crafted a ceremony exactly as we hoped, following our directions and adding his own personal wisdom and jokes to make the event personal and one everyone could enjoy. On October 9, 2020 Rabbi Gruber co-officiated our daughters wedding with Father McGinn at Marigny Opera House in New Orleans, Louisiana. I must tell you that I am the Jewish mother of the bride and truly did not know what to expect . You see, I have never been to an interfaith wedding with a rabbi and priest co- officiating. To our amazement this was the most beautiful ceremony we have ever been to. It was absolutely spectacular. Rabbi Gruber and Father McGinn worked together seamlessly. Rabbi Gruber spoke the words of love,life,god and the importance to embrace the love Ashley and Doug have for one another. Rabbi David Gruber officiated the recent interfaith wedding of our son and daughter-in-law and far exceeded our expectations. Due to the pandemic, we had guests attending both in person, as well as via zoom. He made all feel welcome and inclusive and took the time to explain the various traditions with warmth and humor.

Rabbi David Gruber officiated our wedding one year ago this month and could not provide him a higher recommendation. We are an interfaith family and having a Rabbi officiate our wedding was very important to us. It was challenging to find a Rabbi who would officiate an interfaith ceremony but after reviewing all the glowing reviews and after our first meeting with him we were confident we made the right decision. He consistently made us feel comfortable and confident with the ceremony and the process providing us with all the resources and always making himself available. During the process he really got to know us personally and translated that into our ceremony with the perfect amount of humor and insights. Rabbi Gruber did an amazing job for our wedding and we were very lucky to find him. We struggled for months to find a Rabbi that was willing to participate in a ceremony at a Catholic Church, and Rabbi Gruber's only question before agreeing to participate was "do you love each other?" Immediately afterwards, he put in a great deal of effort getting to know us, understand why we were looking to get married and understand our connection to our respective faiths, in order to make the ceremony as personalized as possible. Rabbi David understands the importance of living your life to the fullest even if it’s not how you planned. Through the restrictions placed due to Covid-19 and having to move the wedding up two hours just days before the wedding, due to the Dallas curfew, Rabbi David continued to stand by our side and support us during this most meaningful time in our lives. The memories we shared that day will forever be cherished and honored by Eric and I for the rest of our lives.

Rabbi David Gruber did an amazing job during our wedding! I am not Jewish, but my husband and his mother are and it was important to them to have a Jewish ceremony. I am so glad we found David because he made our ceremony really unique and special! He really takes the time to get to know you through meetings and e-mails (we were local so we got to meet with him in person several times before the big day). The ceremony incorporate a lot of personal items to my husband and I as well as the Jewish traditional elements that we wanted to incorporate. Everyone has told me since the wedding that the ceremony was one of their favorite parts of the wedding and that Rabbi Gruber was amazing.

He worked with us for over 10 months to create the perfect ceremony. The process involved a few video chats and an in-person meeting. We had a lot of fun getting to know him, and we learned a lot about ourselves along the way. Rabbi Gruber worked with us for almost an entire year to make our wedding ceremony perfect. He did an awesome job of facilitating our inter-faith wedding and teaching us cultural differences by embracing those differences rather than overshadowing them. Rabbi David officiated our wedding this past May in Oklahoma City. We weren't exactly sure what to expect in planning our ceremony, but David made the whole process easy and comfortable. Rabbi David Gruber is beyond fantastic! I knew I wanted a rabbi to marry myself and my non-Jewish (now) husband, but was nervous about finding one who would "get" us. Well, my mom must have some pretty fancy Jew-dar, because she found Rabbi Gruber for us, and it was a match made in heaven!! I had recently returned from Israel with a new-found love of Judaism, and my husband was raised Episcopal, but is a staunch agnostic. When we first met with David, we knew he'd be right for us. He understood our sense of humor, went out of his way to meet with us despite the short amount of time we had, and built a gorgeous ceremony that was just for us! We had everyone come up to us after and tell us what a beautiful ceremony it was, and that it was one of the most beautiful they had ever been to. Even those who had never been to a Jewish service or ceremony understood everything and felt comfortable. To top it all off, he approached everything with a sense of humor and grace, and when at one point during the ceremony and unrelated group of people cheered loudly on the street, he took it in stride and made everyone laugh. It was truly the best wedding ceremony I could have asked for, with a truly amazing officiant!

Rabbi David was the BEST! We contacted him two years before our wedding, even before we picked out a date, because my Jewish husband was worried that we wouldn't ever find a rabbi who would marry us. (I'm non-Jewish) Over the two years we spoke several times, and Rabbi David listened intently to our wants and needs, our backgrounds, and created a ceremony that made nearly everyone at the wedding tear up. Rabbi Gruber is AMAZING! We wanted to have an interfaith Jewish/Catholic ceremony with a Cuban flair. In the months leading up to our wedding, he guided us through the process of creating a ceremony that truly captures what we wanted. He gave us a lead on a priest he had co-officiated with in the past, and worked together with him to draft our ceremony. On our wedding day, he executed that ceremony perfectly and really stole the show with his beautiful remarks about us as a couple. All of our guests kept remarking afterwards how wonderfully our two traditions came together in the ceremony and how amazing our Rabbi was. He even whipped out some very impressive Spanish so my Cuban grandmother could follow along!

I highly recommend Rabbi David Gruber for a full Jewish wedding or Interfaith wedding. I'm full Jewish and my now husband is half Jewish but neither of us are very religious. It was important to my parents that we have a rabbi officiate our wedding and that we have a Jewish ceremony but we didn't want the ceremony to be too religious. Because of Rabbi Gruber, we had an absolutely perfect ceremony that was exactly what we wanted. First of all, we don't live in Dallas anymore so we were concerned about making sure the Rabbi gets to really know us and have an understanding of who we are and what we believe in. David was so thorough throughout the entire process and was so easy to work with. We met him once in Dallas and had multiple FaceTime calls with him leading up to the wedding. He really guided us along the way, took the time to get to know us as individuals and as a couple, and worked with us to customize the ceremony of our dreams. We enjoyed talking to him so much that we often went over the scheduled time for our calls! It was such a beautiful, meaningful, and personalized ceremony that not only we enjoyed, but our guests did as well. I actually get quite nervous in front of large groups (we had 150 people at the wedding) but during the ceremony, standing under the chuppah, I felt so comfortable, like it was just the Rabbi, me, and my husband. He was genuine, funny, and performed a heartfelt ceremony. I highly recommend Rabbi David Gruber whether you're religious or not. He's so knowledgeable about so many religions, traditions, and cultures and that really helped make our ceremony very personal and met our wants and needs in a ceremony.

My son and I were born Jewish and converted to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormons) within the last 6 years. He married his beautiful wife in the LDS Temple in Fresno, Califonria on July 27th and we had a ring ceremony here in Texas yesterday. We were somewhat nervous that the ring ceremony would be enjoyable for the Jewish, Mormon, and other Christian relatives and friends in attendance. To say that Rabbi Gruber did a phenomenal job is an understatement. He personalized it by getting to know McKenna and Michael in advance, getting to know what they are all about and what they value. He prepared a script for the ceremony so that everything would go according to plan. He was the perfect combination of reverence and humor. Ultimately, his diligent preparation and dynamic officiating helped break down barriers between the faith groups, leaving everyone honored, respected, and more educated. He was also very flexible in the ceremony. For example, we asked if he would bless challah bread afterwards - which is not traditional at a Jewish ceremony - and he was more than willing to do it. Everyone in attendance shared their appreciation of Rabbi Gruber and his efforts to bridge the gap between two faiths. It was truly a unifying celebration.

Rabbi David Gruber was wonderful. Our son and his wife thoroughly enjoyed the pre-wedding sessions they had with the rabbi and everyone at the ceremony (i.e., more than 350 guests) thought the rabbi and the Episcopalian minister did a masterful job melding the two traditions.

I wanted a Rabbi to marry us but my husband wasn't so sure as he is Catholic. We were going to interview a few people, but after our initial call with Gruber, both he and I were sold. Rabbi Gruber was able to explain all parts of the wedding and traditions of both religions, let us pick which ones we want to use, and created a ceremony that was personal for us, but where others felt involved. We did't want it to be just about us but for people joining us to know they were a part of us, and he did exactly that by grasping our personalities, tying in some humor, and creating a warm and beautiful ceremony. Rabbi Gruber was very patient with us as we dragged our feet in getting things back to him, and even came to our house instead of meeting out, to accommodate our baby's nap schedule. He was very easy to work with and we had a lot of compliments about how nice his ceremony was, after the fact. We are so glad he was able to officiate our special day.

David was a wonderful officiant for our wedding. He is professional yet warm and very personable. He officiated our wedding between myself, a Jew, and my husband, who is Muslim. David researched different traditions and ceremonies from each faith and presented them to us so that we could pick the traditions we liked the best and make a ceremony that truly reflected us and our relationship. He worked with us to make sure we were both happy with every detail and doesn't just have a "one size fits all" ceremony. Everyone who witnessed our ceremony were so impressed with how it reflected my husband and my relationship and personalities. Rabbi Gruber was amazing to say the least. He was so easy to work with and quite brilliant. Planning a wedding is overwhelming but he brought calmness and sound advice to the whole process. I am Jewish and my husband is Methodist, so we had both a minister and Rabbi Gruber co-officiate our wedding, and we loved how it turned out. We liked Rabbi Gruber from the moment we met him. He was personable, friendly and above all else, wanted to make sure we got the wedding we wanted. He asked us lots of questions about who we were, where we came from and what and how we envisioned our wedding. We met with him a few times outlining the ceremony and by the time of our final meeting it was everything we wanted. The day of the wedding could not have turned out any more perfect. Rabbi Gruber was amazing. From our first meeting he seemed genuinely interested in getting to know myself and my fiancé.
