. I had a very bad bout with COVID and was out of commission for close to 3 weeks. My assistant doubled down to keep things moving along - and did a great job as we never missed an order for time sensitive invitations and sucessfully produced and delivered lots of wedding accessory orders for May and June. This wedding is in November - however everything was in production and no time was lost. The comment about vacations was also hurtful - in 19 years we have never closed our doors for a vacation and although , unfortunately, the timing was a month after COVID - we each took time for pre-arranged family trips that had been planned way in advance. Plenty of notice was given to all current clients of the 1 week closure. Vanessa's invitations were exquisite - and surely will be in the hands of their guests in plenty of time

It’s true that several companies do, in fact, offer the same “books”, however, we were shown a picture and asked to duplicate it. The item produced, and delivered was a custom invitation and is not shown in any of our albums. Also true that we do rely very highly on email communications, particularly for situations just as this. It is faster and more efficient. We find it necessary to have written communications to avoid any issues with wording and to keep clients updated with the production of their items. This client was informed in person and in email of the entire production process and timeframe. There were no underlying “lies” that would lead to the distrust and verbal abuse we were subjected to . Numerous phone calls became attacks on us, with unjustified accusations. For whatever reason, there was clear doubt that the order would be delivered in the time frame promised, and even more doubt that it would be what she had envisioned. She demanded answers, which were given to her based on the most updated information available to us at the time. We are still a little taken back with all of this because not only did the invitation come in 1 day before the ETA, but it was flawless and beautiful!!!! Ultimately, this client was very pleased when she picked up the order. So pleased in fact, that she chose to come back for more items. We considered refusing to continue the working relationship, but, chose to move forward, simply because we do take each client, and each order to heart. There are 100 plus customers that have been happy to share their positive experiences with others.
