All the guests just couldn't stop complimenting us on our band choice! The dance floor was always full! From the beginning of the planning until the end, Jarrell Entertainment was a breeze to work with. We had multiple meetings with Nancy, Elizabeth and Ray to make sure band knew what my daughter and son-in-law wanted to be played and how they wanted the evening to flow! I would one hundred percent use Jarrell Entertainment again!

Not only was it a pleasure working with them before the wedding - they were extremely organized and always met our ideas and questions with a "yes" - but their talent really shined at our wedding. Never once did we have to check in on the music or vibe, they truly guided the energy of us and our guests all day long. Would definitely recommend!

moving parts ( which could easily be a problem as the musicians move & add on). We did not use a wedding planner. Having said that , I can’t believe how effortlessly it all went off. Not the least was the band! My guests RAVED about how amazing they were. From the beginning ( when everyone gathered, and during the wedding) people were asking where I got them! I am so happy to share that they were all a pleasure to deal with , heard and followed through with every request!!! We kept them longer . Music is such a key element in the success of a party. They OVERDELIVERED ! I would recommend them in a heartbeat .and will continue to use Jarrell entertainment as my go to . Could not be happier!

People were on the dance floor the entire night, to the point where guests were chanting “one more song!” DJ Matty was amazing and working with Jarrell Entertainment was so great, so responsive and they really took the time to get a feel for what sort of vibe we were going for! imagine didn't give us a lot of time for planning. Music was one of those items that we didn't spend a lot of time thinking about we put together a quick playlist of some songs both of us enjoyed and sent it over to Ray and moved onto the other billion things we had to do. Now thinking back I am so glad we didn't put much work into this because Ray doesn't need any help!! He understood the vibe and understood what we liked and made it even better. I remember constantly thinking to myself "we should shazaam this" at the wedding because there were so many amazing songs I knew and had completely forgotten about. Even though I didn't know Ray before the wedding - that night I felt like we must have been long term friends because he understood exactly what my husband and I enjoyed. I wish I could express in words what an amazing night he gave us, but all I can say is BOOK RAY and you will be able to experience what I did. Thank you so much!!!!!!

usic is exactly what you want while also being creative. DJ Othello got it right - from our cocktail hour music to the reception. He was so great to work with and made sure we were involved on the day without being overbearing or overwhelming. He did a great job announcing each part of the night and really took our music vision and ran with it. He had people up and dancing before dinner even started, and I would recommend DJ Othello and Jarrell Entertainment to anyone!

They flawlessly combined many different genres and decades of different music to please our and our guest’s different tastes. Ray and team were an absolute pleasure to work with and would book them again for any upcoming event. Must book for any weddings in the Hamptons!!!

s to ask. The day of, he was a consummate professional: ready, did everything right, knew how to talk to the crowd when it was time, and played a great, fun mix. People were in love with him. And he was so friendly! Thank you Stephen! (And thank you Kevin in offices!)

ng to play a set track. As soon as I heard MKL's mixes I knew he was our DJ. We hired MKL as our DJ and also included a violinist, saxophonist, and guitarist. We also used Jarrell for our uplighting. Ray, Kevin and Michael are true creatives. They are artists through and through. From the music, to lighting, sound checks and more Jarrell Entertainment looked at our event as a creative expression of our wedding and not just a wedding. Kevin orchestrated our event to be spectacular. He made sure the lighting was set to the music, the tone of the event had good vibes and that everyone hit their mark the day of. Kevin worked tirelessly with our venue to make sure that the sound of the event would be correct. I expected a DJ company to bring some speakers and call it a day. That is not at all what you get with Jarrell Entertainment. Kevin and his team brought in several speakers for around the room. They did a proper soundcheck before the event and planned ahead and added additional speakers where needed. They setup proper sound in every area that guests would be including the cocktail space, reception area and the outdoor terrace. Each area had a carefully planned sound system with multiple points for the music to play, not just one large speaker at the front. Kevin also worked with our florist, Ruth Ridgeway, to make sure the lighting captured our florals and made the most out of the room. Michael (MKL), our DJ, was a pleasure to work with. We first spoke with him before booking and knew right after he was the one. Almost 2 years later and after postponing due to COIVD he pulled off an amazing event and created the best mixes. With Jarrell you aren't getting a DJ that you meet the day of. Kevin and Ray (the owner) were always available for us and spent countless hours going over ever detail. They both took the time and energy to run through multiple ways our event could be done being that COVID regulations were constantly changing. I can't thank them enough for being there for my husband and I during that time and for centering us when we had so many "what if" questions. Thank you MKL for being absolutely wonderful, Kevin for pulling off a complicated event in a seamless way, and Ray for always being there!

technician on site. They played my selected music and managed the setup and breakdown of the tech. This service was exactly what I was looking for and it worked out great! They can also can curate a playlist for you but we already knew what we wanted. 10/10 would recommend.

made the planning process incredibly easy, providing us with playlists and consulting on the vibe we wanted for our wedding. Each segment of the event, from the ceremony to cocktails to dinner to dancing was perfect and they incorporated the live instruments beautifully. They were also very accommodating when it came to complying with covid restrictions. I would highly recommend them and would definitely work with them again in the future.

They even learned a Springsteen song for our walk down the aisle – which made the day feel even more personal (and frankly, they did a great job even though you wouldn’t think the song would translate well into a jazz quartet rendition 😊). compared different DJs/MCs and when I spoke with ours, I knew it was a match. We had DJ FLO and MC Lonnie at our wedding. JD helped coordinate everything throughout and he was truly a pleasure to work with! For MC Lonnie, I knew he was a match the first time I spoke with him on the phone. He completely got my vision for the wedding and very personable. We also really connected personally so I was excited to finally meet him on the wedding day! I knew he would be very professional to work with but also fun! He did a great job navigating our wedding, as we had a few unique elements throughout. Our wedding was black tie, and he kept it very professional but also got the energy up when we wanted it to be! DJ FLO was a pleasure to work with. He understood the mix of music we were looking for, for our wedding and really made it come to life! He absolutely killed it during our dance set of the night and everyone was up out of their seats dancing, regardless of age! I remember wanting the dance portion to continue because it was that much fun. If you have the chance to work with them, I highly recommend you do!

5.12.18 and he BLEW US AWAY!! We knew he was perfect for us when we spoke with him on the phone about a year before our wedding, and then we met with him and the sax player, Dave, a couple weeks prior to our wedding and felt so great, like he totally heard us and “got us”. Then on the wedding day, everything he played was PERFECT. He read the crowd and strung the songs together in the most perfect way - there wasn’t a single song that was a miss. He and Dave totally gave us the dance party we wanted. We could not have been happier with our choice of Jarrell - MKL and Dave.

Lastly, we had some very last-minute changes that were out of our control, and they could not have been more accommodating and understanding. Ray & Uma (whom we dealt with for all of the organizing) were incredible, and DJ FLO brought the house down at the wedding. We highly recommend working with this wonderful organization.
