We hired Jay's valet for our wedding as our venue highly recommended valet parking and we agreed (George Peabody Library in downtown Baltimore). They were always very quick to respond and as they had done weddings at our venue previously they k...
new exactly what had to be done. They arrived on time (6pm for a 7pm wedding) and I did not receive any complaints from my guests. I would definitely recommend them.

We hired this company to provide valet service for my daughter’s wedding to be held at her house. The receptionist wrote only part of the street down. I didn’t catch this mistake and signed the contract with a partial address on it. It is thei...
r standard procedure to use google maps to view the satellite imagery of the property and to send their manager early the day of the event to canvass the area. How they were able to view the satellite imagery without realizing that the address was incomplete is questionable to me as the partial address on the contract does not exist. I sent them two checks in payment for the contract and in both instances was told I hadn’t paid even though the checks had cleared my account. Very rarely do they answer the phone and half of their e-mails to me began with “I apologize for the delay in getting back with you”.
Two days prior to the wedding, the owner of the parking lot requested an agreement signed by the valet service. I was able to speak to someone in the office about this. I e-mailed the agreement along with a copy of the plat of the property which clearly showed the street name in caps. I told them I needed to have this back on Friday, the day before the wedding. I could not reach them at all on Friday. No one answered or returned my calls/e-mails. The landowner finally agreed to accept our signature. Jay’s Valet did receive the agreement and they did sign it but didn’t take time to send it back or call me about it. They sent it with their manager to give to me. This was too late. I was never given it anyway.
The manager used his phone GPS to find directions, going only from the partial address in the contract. They were scheduled to be on site at 4:30. They arrived at 5:15. No one called me to let me know they were running late or that they were lost and needed directions. I was not given any contact information for the day of the event. I could only call the office, which I did at 4:50. Of course no one answered or returned my call. I was told later that he “panicked and was trying to find directions. He was asking people where it could be.” I’m not sure I believe that his on site manager and four attendants could be so stupid. They are clearly inexperienced. Any search engine or GPS that he would have used puts him within 10 minutes of the location. If he had called me at 4:30 when he realized he was not where he needed to be, I could have had him at the location in time to park the first car. Instead, the arrival of my guests was total chaos because we were caught flat footed. The wedding party had to park cars and direct traffic. The point of hiring a valet service is so your guests will be safe and comfortable. Our guests had to walk on a road with no shoulder and up a steep incline of the driveway. This is completely unacceptable.
The owner is not at all sorry or sympathetic about the performance of his employees. All he can tell me is that he has a signed contract with a partial address on it. Therefore their actions are my fault. I take responsibility only for the first 10 minutes that they were late.
This is a company whose office staff is incompetent and difficult to contact. Their onsite manager is inexperienced, inconsiderate and shows poor judgment because of his tendency to “panic” when he is under pressure. The owner takes no pride in the quality of service performed or in customer satisfaction but instead hides behind a gotcha clause in the contract.
