We used Jenny Wenny at our wedding and they were fantastic! The cake was beautiful and delicious, and they make a full dessert table with a dozen different options for our guests. The reviews were glowing across the board. My personal favorites were the cake pop and chocolate chip cookie, but they were all amazing. Jenny Wenny Cakes saved me!!! The place I had purchased my wedding cake from sold and I didn't know until a few months before the wedding. Jenny Wenny to the rescue. The cake was EXACTLY what I had envisioned and more. The fondant fading was stunning and the layers built to hold the model of our dog were perfect. I can't recommend them enough!!!

Jenny Wenny provided the cake and desserts for our wedding and they were phenomenal. The coconut cake with passionfruit curd in particular was fantastic and they were very easy to work through out the process, the dessert tasting they did for us was one of the overall highlights of the wedding planning process

Our cake was delicious and beautifully decorated! Many of our guests ate two pieces, and we received a ton of compliments, especially on the chocolate caramel flavor. As soon as our wedding ended, the very first thing my new husband did was race after our wedding coordinator to ask whether there was any leftover cake we could take with us - he was not going to leave a single piece behind because it was that good! As a vendor, Jenny Wenny was really professional and easy to work with. We did a take home cake tasting before deciding, which was really fun and made our decision very easy. After taking a few bites, we were not going to look anywhere else.

Jenny Wenny Cakes went above and beyond our expectations to make our wedding cake spectacular! Before the wedding, we sent a picture for inspiration for the design and they were absolutely on point! We also had tastings beforehand with a various selection of flavors of cake/frostings/fillings that were all delicious. Everyone at the wedding was raving about how delicious the cake was! We chose the chocolate cake with caramel and chocolate mousse, Swiss meringue buttercream frosting.

Our cake was gorgeous! Everything we wanted and it tasted delicious too! Jenny and her team were super responsive, gave a great impression when we picked up our cake samples, and were just the nicest people! So happy we picked them to provide my favorite meal at our wedding!

Jenny Wenny’s cake quality is undeniable. Made with fresh, made from scratch, ingredients, the quality is unparalleled. The only reason I’m giving them 4/5 stars, is that they’re unable to deliver early (so we missed out on display photos), and their hours can be challenging. Their prices are high, but fair for the quality.

The team at Jennywenny is so awesome! They were easy to plan with and were very quick and responsive to all of our questions. We loved we were able to pick up our tastings and bring them home to try - it was a super fun experience for us in the planning stage. Their cakes our so delicious!! We had a hard time choosing!! Day of everything was delivered perfectly and the cake was amazing and so beautiful!! Highly recommend!

The cake was one of our favorite parts of wedding planning (the tasting) and the actual wedding. It was AMAZING both in taste and appearance. JennyWenny was super responsive to emails and requests as well. I would (and already have) recommended them to all of our San Diego friends. If we have another event, we won’t hesitate to work with JennyWenny again.

Cannot speak any more highly of Jenny and her whole team. We executed our contract with Jenny pre-Covid and like so many other couples, we had to postpone our wedding from 2020 to 2021. I must have emailed Jenny and Katie 363738 times with to 1) different price quotes and 2) ideas of how to navigate Covid restrictions and still have a dessert bar because our plans kept changing. The whole team was so incredibly kind, always, and extremely understanding. We made a few last minute switches as well, and they very accommodating. And that’s not even mentioning how amazing Jenny’s cakes and desserts are. We actually walked away from our first contracted wedding cake vendor because Jenny’s product is THAT good. We received so many compliments on our dessert bar- the lemon bars and berry cheesecake cups were a HIT- and our wedding cake was stunning and one of my favorite details from the whole night. Spend the money and go with Jenny… she is worth every penny.

Best wedding cake ever! My husband and I don't even like cake and I am trying to find any excuse to order another cake from Jennywenny! The team is so helpful and responsive - even when I had some last minute changes before the wedding. Multiple guests commented on how delicious the cake was. We got married at Carmel Mountain Ranch Estate, and JennyWenny Cakes was a preferred cake vendor. We enjoyed their cake tasting and sampled many of their cakes & desserts. While we loved so many of their cake flavors, we decided to narrow it down to 3: Hazelnut-Almond with nutella, Funfetti with triple berry jam & strawberry cake with strawberry jam. The hazlenut-almond with nutella was hands down our favorite flavor. It is a premium flavor, but we decided it was worth the money to upgrade to premium. Adding a 4th flavor would have been extra, but if we had chosen a 4th it would have been the chocolate cake. Our guests told us they LOVED our wedding cake. I have a sweet tooth, but sometimes desserts are too sweet for me. The funfetti and strawberry cakes were just the right amount of sweetness, and our guests loved these flavors, as well! My husband and I were extremely happy when we learned we had some leftover cake, as we were not able to eat the wedding cake on our actual wedding day. We were also happy to share the leftovers with our family & friends the following day. I would HIGHLY recommend ordering your wedding cake from JennyWenny. Jenny and her team were very responsive to my emails and questions. Our cake was too delicious to save a slice to freeze & eat next year so we will be ordering a fresh anniversary cake from JennyWenny next year!!

We were sold the minute we picked up our tasting box and took that first bite. They have so many options for flavors and frostings and fillings and the team worked with us to come up with our perfect combination. They were very responsive every step of the way and super helpful when we had to change our guest count and therefore the amount of cake and desserts that we would need. Everything was so good that the day after our wedding, the hubby was looking to see if we could order some berry cheesecake cups and macarons for us to enjoy again at home. The entire Jenny Wenny Cakes team was very responsive to us. The moment we contacted them, they immediately set us up with tastings, and asked us about our wedding vision. Their desserts and cake were a major hit at the wedding. They worked with us through the entire process from which desserts we loved, down to the look of the wedding cake itself. We loved how we were able to customize the cake with different frostings, and fillings. They allowed us to mix and match fillings, and we ended up with 3 of our favorite flavors and cakes for our wedding guests. We were especially grateful when they worked with us when it came to COVID guidelines. They offered different serving options for both cake and the desserts. The cake looked just as beautiful as it tasted. We definitely recommend their hummingbird cake, as well as their passionfruit filling. The cake was delicious and it looked really nice. However, the experience of working with Jenny and her team left a bad taste in my mouth (ignore the pun). We hired Jenny before covid and when we had to postpone our September wedding all of our other vendors were flexible but Jenny charged a $25 change of date fee. I still can’t understand this because she risked losing the rest of our business with this fee and there was nothing we could do to avoid a postponement. We also gave a lot of notice on this change. Also I wish we hadn’t rented a cake stand because it was a whole separate contract and had to be returned but we were from out of town. It was a whole thing. Again, the hazelnut praline flavor of our cake was delicious!

JennyWenny Cakes was amazing, and delicious! We contracted with JennyWenny Cakes through our venue Carmel Mountain Ranch Estate. I fell in love with the cakes she created even before having one bite. Our cake tasting was phenomenal. We had an assortment of cakes, frostings, fillings, etc. where we were able to try different combinations to see what we liked. Honestly, we liked so many that we enlisted Katie's expertise, and we are so thankful. Not only does JennyWenny Cakes deliver an incredible product, but they are so helpful with absolutely everything. We ended up adding an extra flavor and additional add-ons, but the price was so reasonable. I was willing to pay more than they were asking for because everything was just that good. Our wedding cake was simply beautiful, and incredibly delicious. We are so happy with how everything turned out. I cannot wait for another occasion to order a cake from JennyWenny Cakes! We highly recommend JennyWenny Cakes for your wedding cake, and desserts!

Delicious and So Pretty! I waited until the last minute to decide on a cake and desserts for my wedding in January. I wanted something small, but elegant and of course tasty. I also wanted to be assured that all my vendors were reliable, professional, and would provide quality services at a reasonable price. I’m so glad I was lucky enough to come across JennyWenny Cakes and that she was able to accommodate my fast timeline! The communication was always fast and friendly. Our cake and dessert tasting was fun and delicious! Everything was yummy, but there were clear winners for both my FH and I. You can mix and match any flavors, but we went with one of their recommended signature flavors. While they had many great examples of different styles of cakes, I wanted the frosting to have a specific ombre look which they were able to match perfectly. I am a designer and can be picky about the details but everything was exactly how I wanted it to be. Our cake was a small two tier cake that would serve about 40 so we also added on some dessert cups to supplement. Also really good and a bit hit with our guests. I also like that they are not a retail bakery and are solely a catering and special events bakery. We were so happy with the ease of the whole process, the friendly and fast service, beautiful design, and of course yummy cake and desserts!

First and foremost, everything tasted amazing! We got multiple desserts including macaroons, little dessert cups, passion fruit tarts, and of course the cake. Everything looked fantastic! The presentation was top notch. We actually ended up with extra desserts. We had enough for people to go back several times. Not a single type of desert was less than delicious. We also had extra cake which still tasted great for the couple days i was snacking on it. One small thing to keep in mind if you book them is that you have to take the serving dishes back to them or pay an extra fee for someone to pick them up. It's not a big deal but it's something to know. Couldn't have been happier with how everything turned out.

We had a great experience working with JennyWenny Cakes. We first heard of JennyWenny from a family member who ordered a birthday cake and friend of mine who hired her for her wedding. Luckily we ate her cake in both these events and we were hooked! We had quality, clear communication throughout the entire planning process and were easily accessible. She worked well with our wedding coordinator as well. They offer several options during the tasting and Jenny assisted us in choosing flavors for multiple desserts (mini cupcakes, macarons, trifle cups, three tier wedding cake). JennyWenny Cakes outlines everything from the design elements of the cake, costs, and delivery. They have the perfect cake supplies (cake stand, dessert trays) that can match your wedding/venue style. Take advantage of her social media and the portfolio she sends you for design ideas. We were so happy with the end result. Everything tasted amazing and looked beautiful. There were no desserts left by the end of the night!

JennyWenny Cakes is a family favorite! After hiring Jenny to create my college graduation cake several years ago, we just had to have Jenny create our dream wedding cake. The cake was beautiful and tasted amazing! Also, the team at JennyWenny Cakes provides the best customer service – they are attentive, personal, responsive, and professional.

All I can say is wow. My step brother got married two years ago and had the most delicious wedding cake ever. I found out it was Jenny, and when I got engaged I immediately knew I wanted her to be my baker. Her cakes are fantastic. A perfect balance. She also makes amazing tiny desserts. If I could eat her dulce de leche macaroons everyday I’d be in heaven. If you want stellar desserts she’s the perfect baker for you. She’s also the sweetest and I adore her accent.

As a person with sweet teeth, not a sweet tooth, I take my desserts seriously. Leading up to my wedding, my friends had warned me to not buy a wedding cake as people do not eat it. However, I am pleased to say I was left with very little cake (sadly, since I wanted more) because everyone ate a slice and then some. Although each layer we chose had a different flavor, each was delicious. Will definitely be ordering future cakes, cookies, etc from Jenny Wenny! One last thing, from an aesthetic point of view, the cake was gorgeous. My husband and I got a lot of compliments on the design and the arrangement of florals on the cake. 'Til next dessert....

Jenny and team were so wonderful and welcoming from the beginning. We did our cake/dessert tasting and were very pleased with the cake flavor we put together. A few weeks before the wedding, we asked to add a few desserts and this was accommodated as well. The design we wanted for the cake was exactly what was delivered. It was beautiful! My husband and I knew we created a great tasting cake, but we didn't realize how much our guests would love it too! We didn't expect so many people to say that they were hunting down uneaten pieces set aside for other guests ;) Jennywennycakes is highly recommended and we will be returning customers in the future!

Our wedding cake was so delicious! I only wish I could have eaten more of it on the wedding day, but it disappeared quickly! Jenny was fabulous-- very organized, easy to work with, and reasonably priced compared to many other similar-quality bakeries in the area.

DELICIOUS!!! Is all I need to say!! We hired Jenny to make the wedding cake and small bite desserts after several months of reading reviews on line. Being from the Bay Area, we weren't sure what to expect but let me tell you, we were not disappointed in any way!! Communication remotely was easy and efficient and the pricing was incredibly reasonable. We made our way to San Diego in early August for a tasting to pick out our flavors and desserts. WOW!!! We were all blown away about how delectable everything tasted!! Jenny was patient with our asks (for less sweetness here, more chocolate there, etc) and on the day of the wedding, she did not disappoint. In fact, I had been planning on having extra slices to take home after the wedding but our guests ate EVERY SINGLE piece of cake and desserts that were offered!!! Everyone has been raving about how delicious it all tasted, including my husband. Jenny was an absolute pleasure to work with and we are so grateful that she helped us make our wedding day treats come true!!!!

Jenny and her team did an amazing job for our cake and dessert table for my wedding earlier this month. We had a variety of desserts as well as a small cake and everything tasted delicious! She is very communicative throughout the entire planning process and was even open to creating a pumpkin dessert for us to fit our "fall feel" wedding. Her pricing is very reasonable and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a desserts at their wedding!

I loved Jenny Wenny. Creative Affairs recommended her and I loved her! She is affordable and helpful in the tastings as well as a accurate on what you need for your guest count. While we had extras on the little desserts it was nice to bring home and share for our post-lunch. Guests loved the creme brulee. We had a lemon strawberry cake and it was delicious! They even came and picked up the plates, etc the day after the wedding and that was a huge help. Thank you so much for making our wedding delicious.

Jenny AND her cakes get 5 stars. Jenny is easy to work with and very creative. Her cakes somehow manage to look like an art installation while simultaneously tasting delicious. Her flavors are fresh and the cake is fluffy. What more an I say!

Jenny has such a variety of flavors for the fillings, frostings and cake layers and she is so reasonable for all the work provided. We sent her inspiration photos and she was definitely able to duplicate everything for our wedding cake. Jenny is friendly, patient and very responsive. I'm tempted to drive a bit to her location if I ever need a fantastic birthday cake! We decided to add a "sweets" table with macaroons for the reception. They were a hit! People told us they couldn't stop eating them. Thank You Jenny for making our special day memorable.

Jenny and her team made my dreams come true with a MINAS TIRITH cake for our LOTR / MIDDLE EARTH wedding!!! The cake totally exceeded my expectations. So much detail, sculpted with care, perfectly clean & white. Everything I asked for and more. Initially, I was impressed by Jenny's portfolio - her cakes looked clean and sharp. She was the first cake baker I contacted. At the cake tasting, she gave us a variety of cake flavors and different fillings/frostings so we could mix and match to see which combinations we liked. Everything was delicious! Even more importantly for me, she sat with us through the entire tasting and went over cake design, structural advice, cake/filling recommendations for an outdoor wedding, etc. Jenny was so friendly and eager to work out a design with us. During the tasting we discussed budget as well. Shortly after the tasting she emailed us a summary of what we discussed, and a quote for the price of the cake. The quote was well under our budget! She could've easily priced the cake at our max budget, but coming in under budget just shows how trustworthy she is. She is also very responsive over email! Not only did she have to figure out how to construct our crazy cake, but she also delivered it - over an hour away, along a curvy narrow road - to our venue in the outskirts of Fallbrook. AND SHE DID OUR DESSERT BAR TOO. Our guests demolished the desserts. Luckily I had asked our venue coordinator to set aside one of each dessert for my husband and me to take home, or else we wouldn't have gotten to try any! She even provided the rustic stands for the dessert bar (with rental fee). In the days approaching the wedding she emailed me with cake design questions (which I really appreciated). The original design had four tiers, and she ended up throwing in the bottom styrofoam tier *complimentary* because without it "it wasn't grand enough". Well, I think it turned out a spectacular representation of the capital city of Gondor. :)

Delicious and beautiful! Jenny was wonderful to work with. We ended up with three cakes and 5 kinds of macaroons because everything tasted so dang good during our tasting. Jenny was able to design beautiful minimalist cakes that tasted amazing. We couldn't have been more happy with the results.
