She did an amazing job at the trial and then a few weeks later when I decided I wanted to tweak my hairstyle slightly for the wedding day she was completely accommodating. On the day of the wedding Carly and Denita showed up on time to do hair for myself, my bridesmaids and the moms. They both did such a great job and were so efficient that they finished earlier than expected! That was one less wedding thing to stress about. I'm so happy I chose them as my hair vendor and I would recommend them to any bride.

sed. They never even called to clarify their unclear emails. I would never use someone so rude and disorganized for such an important event ... or even a less important event. Wedding hair should be one of the fun parts. Jewel and her assistant made it stressful and acted like they were too important for my business. Not professional.

Throughout the planning phase, Carly, Jewel, and Bella were responsive, very helpful, and professional working with me to coordinate hair and makeup schedules, logistics, provided suggestions, and etc.

held multiple trials with me (one at my house) so I would feel confident for my wedding day. Second, my individual stylist, VyVy, was such a gift. I felt beautiful and the style held up to extremely windy conditions at the Jefferson Memorial where we did our pictures. But more important to me was what VyVy did for my sister, Sara. Sara has basically stopped putting effort into her appearance after years of low self-esteem, but when VyVy was done with Sara's style, Sara looked in the mirror, beaming, and shouted "Wow!!" She looked really beautiful and incredibly happy in a way none of us has seen in probably 20 years. It means so much to me to have my sister feel good about herself, and it's all because of VyVy. The value of Jewel Hair Design's services is clear as well-- I did a lot of research and couldn't find a better deal in the area.

ure out exactly what you want for your wedding day look. The trial was money WELL spent. She even helped me pick out hair combs and gave me a discount for purchasing them online. On my wedding day my bridesmaid, mom, groom’s step-mom, and I went to her studio to get our hair styled. You need more 5 or more people for her to come to your location. The mom’s never really wear their hair up and styled. Julie did a terrific job making sure they liked their final do. She is an extremely patient and caring individual. I would highly recommend Julie to any bride and bridal party! I cannot wait to have an excuse to get my hair styled by her again!!

l those worries went away though once I met with Carly. During my trial she looked at photos and really listened to what I was trying to achieve. She paid attention to our venue and what my dress looked like to ensure my hair fit the feel I was going for. On my wedding day, everyone's hair looked absolutely amazing. All of my bridesmaids were so happy with their hair. They looked so beautiful! I adored my hair. It was great to see it all together with my dress and makeup. It looked amazing. And it stayed perfect all night while I danced the night away.

and it was very impressive that the girls could show her one picture idea or just explain what they wanted and she was able to execute a stunning hairstyle for each person. My hair trial was absolutely gorgeous in a low romantic updo with loose hanging curls but unfortunately my hair doesn't hold curl and they fell out within a few hours. Isabel handled it day of by adding more bobby pins and hairspray and made sure that hair wasn't going anywhere! It was a tighter updo than the trial but it was necessary, and a relief because it turned out to be a million degrees on the wedding day with no a/c and I was sweating profusely! My hair, however, kept it's shape and it felt secure and beautiful. Julie was involved in every step of the way and is extremely professional and responsive. I feel like of all the vendors I worked with, they were the most organized and on top of things. I would highly recommend spending a little extra for the convenience of having your hair stylist come to you. The crew at Jewel Hair Design will make sure you are well taken care of!
