I would avoid these people at all cost. They gave us the list of songs they knew and we asked them to not play specific songs because we wanted our weddin to keep a 50s vibe. So we politely asked them to not play certain songs. They said that w...as totally fine and they understood. Our wedding day arrived, the ceremony ended, and our reception was just starting. My new bride and I were taking photos when we hear the band playing YMCA. (Definitely not one we wanted played) I went up to the band director and asked him to stick to the songs we agreed on and he gave me a sarcastic response about how he didn’t want to. He eventually agreed to do so. A few hours later we hear more songs we asked not to be played coming from the band stand. At that point I was over asking them to play the songs we requested, because it was clear they wouldn’t listen. After our honeymoon my wife called up Jim Markum to explain our unsatisfactory experience. Instead of apologizing he went on to tell my wife that I was a liar and that I never gave them a list to play. If I was to redo my wedding, I wouldn’t let these guys play for free let alone pay for them.
