I find beauty in the way smile lines form on faces as partners walk down the aisle and in the unhinged debauchery and joy of a raging dance floor. We couldn’t be happier with our experience working with Jo. From start to finish, she was incredibly professional, kind, and attentive to every detail. Her warm and calm demeanor made us feel completely at ease on such a big day.
The photos are absolutely stunning—she captured every special moment and emotion perfectly. She has a true talent for capturing natural, candid moments as well as beautifully composed portraits.

Everything about our experience working with Jo was out-of-this-world incredible.
We had a camping mountain wedding that had a lot of different moving parts - a talent show the night before, an outdoor ceremony with variable weather, a large amount of people (~200 people), live music, and a silent disco afterparty. Not only did Jo capture every aspect of the best weekend of our lives with incredible quality, she was also so much fun to be around! Our families kept asking us if she was a close friend, because she brought such a fun-loving and calm vibe to a day that had the potential to be quite stressful.
Jo is an immensely talented photographer. She captures emotions in a beautifully vivid way. We were so excited when she told us she liked to work with film as well as digital - and she uses both mediums to the fullest of their abilities. When we got our photos back, our minds were blown. She captured the big moments and the small ones, the laughter, the tears, the dancing, the general vibe of the weekend so incredibly well. And the amount of photos we got was insane! I still don't think I have looked through all of them, there are so many. She has an awesome website for the photos that is sectioned into different categories as well as gives you the ability to save your favorites.
She was super communicative throughout the months leading up to the wedding, and gave us lots of helpful questionnaires to fill out so that we could communicate what we wanted - and she fulfilled our requests and more! She also took the time to meet up with us in person beforehand, which I loved as it helped us to get to know her better.
All in all, if you are looking for a wedding photographer - Jo is truly the best!

Jo is magic and we would hire her a thousand times over. She is incredibly kind, detail-oriented, dependable, and was an absolute joy to spend our elopement day with! Looking through our photos is like we're reliving our day- but we get to actually watch us live it this time. Her eye for capturing raw emotion in an intimate setting coupled with her documentary style was everything we could've wanted from our photos of this day. They feel timeless and they are so, so beautiful. We are so grateful!!

Jo is seriously amazing. She captured every intimate moment of our wedding including things we wouldn't have even thought about! The gallery really makes you feel like you're there on that special day once again. She is professional, punctual, prepared, and has a keen eye for photography. I am beyond happy with the quality of each photo received. She has left a mark on our hearts and I would highly recommend her for anyone wanting high quality professional photography!

Jo did the most incredible job! She made us feel natural in front of the camera and has a real eye for thoughtful photos. We were teary-eyed at the moments she caught during our wedding day. Her photography feels timeless and beautiful. It was obvious that she spent time going through our notes and requests and implemented them while also having a skilled eye to get shots we would never think of. She went above and beyond and was incredibly kind. Several of our wedding guests commented on how friendly and personable she was. You can tell she puts a lot of thought into her work and we are so thankful we hired her!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Jo or recommend her more! From the very beginning Jo made our experience feel very intimate and special. She tailored the most perfect morning elopement to us and made us feel extremely comfortable throughout the entire time. Jo captured our love and raw emotions in every single picture and we couldn’t love our photos more! Words cannot express our gratitude for her kind and committed personality! She embraced us and our pup and all of our intimate and unique moments like grabbing morning donuts and coffee or taking portraits of our dog. Without a doubt book Jo! She is the most genuine and talented individual and we are so happy to have had her capture our love!

Best Wedding Photographer!
I can’t say enough about how amazing Jo is! She was so helpful and accommodating throughout the time we first spoke, and throughout my wedding. My husband and I got married in the middle of the day, but also wanted some golden hour photos in late afternoon, Jo allowed us to split up our time so we could get the photos we wanted. The photos that she took of us are AMAZING! I love how all of them turned out. The style of her photos was exactly what we were wanting. My husband and I were also coming from GA to TX to get married and she was so helpful with recommending other vendors such as floral and hair and makeup, and finding a spot for our golden hour photos. If you are thinking about booking Jo, just go ahead and do it! You won’t be disappointed! :)

Jo came into our process ready and willing. As a couple who did not put a lot of ourselves into planning and organizing our ceremony at Chapel Dulcinea, Jo's experience and communication really helped to set us up for success. She was also first to arrived at the venue on the day of the event! She kept in thorough communication with us while taking shots and the final gallery we received proved her skill and talent. We couldn't be happier!

I seriously cannot recommend Jo enough! I emailed Jo after my now-husband and I unexpectedly decided to elope. Jo responded to my inquiry immediately and helped us finalize all photography details with only 3 weeks' notice. We had no guests at our ceremony, which could've potentially been awkward, but Jo honestly felt like a friend while she was there. She even helped me zip up my dress while I was getting ready! Jo delivered our sneak-peek pictures so unbelievably quickly and sent the rest of our pictures shortly after. And they. are. GORGEOUS!!! Jo is so talented and our pictures exceeded my (high) expectations. She perfectly captured our special day with such care. Please hire Jo–you'll be so happy you did!

Jo is amazing! She was so professional, kind, prompt, detailed etc. from the first email exchange to the sending of final images. I'm blown away by both the finished product and the service throughout that Jo provided. We absolutely LOVE every one of the photos! As a photographer myself, it was extremely important to me to not only have quality photos, but to find someone whose work stood out as special, and to really capture what the day felt like. Jo is an incredibly talented photographer, and she captured the absolute joy of myself, husband, family, and friends. Her portraits are especially beautiful, and I felt she was able to really capture moments I didn't even notice. The thing that people forget when hiring vendors, is that besides an amazing product, they can either stress you out or calm you on the day of, and that's almost as important. Jo was a calming, kind, delightful presence on our wedding day. She is simultaneously hard-working and stealthy (I forgot there was a camera there for much of the candids which resulted in beautiful, sincere moments being captured). I could go on for pages more, but what I'm trying to say is, HIRE HER.

Jo was fantastic - she was initially a Craigslist find for a bluebonnet session in Austin circa 2018 that I wanted to do with my then-boyfriend and my dog. She braved cold weather and the photos were so great that we hired her again for an engagement session and, subsequently, for our wedding. I cannot believe how lucky I was to find her and how LOVELY her photographs are. I will get to cherish the moments she captured on camera for a lifetime and am so glad we chose her! Can’t recommend highly enough!

Jo was the absolute best!
From the very start up to the end she was so flexible, helpful and lovely. We were a bit scared of not being able to “relax” and “pose” but when you’re dealing with a professional like Jo it just goes so smoothly. It was honestly a pleasure and I’m not even talking about the end result. The photos of our wedding will be cherished forever and look absolutely amazing.
