If you’re going to have an event in Tallahassee it has to be John Gandy. He planned my destination wedding in Nashville TN and everything turned out perfectly. I gave them the basic idea of what I wanted and they totally made it come to life.

John Gandy and team were the best I ever worked with. They went above and beyond what I could ever have expected. The communicated so well and really were on top of every detail. Allyson went above her job and took care of us all on the wedding day. This day went off without any problems

As the Father of the Bride, I watched the John Gandy Events team work with my wife and daughter on every detail for 18 months leading up to her wedding day. John Gandy and his team, specifically Troy Rentz and Anna Joy, were fabulous in helping us plan and coordinate our wedding. There were so many small details that they ensured were thought through and helped us have the most beautiful day. They assisted us with all planning leading up to the big day, along with the rehearsal, day of coordinating, scheduling vendors, and decorating the weekend of the wedding. Our wedding day flowed so smoothly and was absolutely gorgeous because of their team. I highly recommend them!

On July 9th, 2022, we celebrated the marriage of our daughter to the love of her life. Alongside the birth of our daughters and our own wedding 30 years ago, it was the happiest day of our lives. A year ago, July 2021, we had just received a request from our now son in law to meet for dinner in a small Georgia town nearby. Even before he asked permission to marry our daughter at dinner that night, and at the risk of “jumping ahead”, I had my priority list already written for the day following. At the top of my list was one phone call- to our friend, John Gandy. Knowing his level of expertise and decades long experience in event planning was only part of our reason for placing him at the top of our priority list. For years we had attended weddings and events John and his team had successfully planned and executed. We then experienced first hand working with him at our own business event in recent months. Everything we had heard about him was validated. He far surpassed our highest expectations. His professionalism, eye for beauty, reading his audience, the incredible people he has chosen to surround himself with, and most importantly his integrity in all aspects of his business are all key components to his success. The respect he has earned throughout our community, and far beyond, is undeniable. On the day of our daughter’s wedding, we were able to truly enjoy each moment from the very beginning early that morning all the way through the night …..to the happiest ending. John Gandy and his team were absolutely amazing! He and everyone on his team was so quick to respond during the planning process and they were there to keep everything moving the day of the wedding. He made my wedding an absolute dream and such an easy day. My parents, sisters and I had a nice fun day celebrating while his team was on it and took care of everything. John Gandy and his team are amazing! They are always available to help make all of your dreams come true. I was not sure at first who to use to make sure my “fairytale” wedding came to life, but I am so thankful I choose John Gandy and his team. Even on the day of the wedding I had like 5 people doing EVERYTHING for me (bringing me wine during the reception, tightening my shoes, fixing my dress so I could dance, etc). Highly recommend- nothing went wrong that I know of the day of.

John Gandy helped us with a wedding held in a remote location, 50 minutes from Tallahassee. The event went off without a hitch. All Gandy recommended vendors were great. His staff was extremely professional, courteous and helpful. His ability to coordinate all of the vendors, including four buses to get guests to and from the wedding, was exceptional. John Gandy and his team are the best there is! Out of four weddings for our four children- this wedding was by far the easiest. John Gandy and his team thought of every detail and were so organized! The decorations were simply gorgeous! His warehouse is full of beautiful items to choose from. John Gandy has long had the reputation as the premier wedding planner in Tallahassee, and it is well-deserved. After a Covid postponement, he graciously extended our contract. He and his staff were on top of everything. They recommended our invitations printer, hair, makeup, transportation, DJ, photographer, and flowers. All were great and gave us extra great service as one of his regular vendors. They were prepared for everything, but nothing went wrong. He and his staff were always responsive and he generally answered the phone himself. His fee was very reasonable and worth every dime. We recommend John Gandy Events whole heartedly and wothout reservation.

There aren't enough words to describe the gratitude my family feels towards John Gandy and his incredible team. They held our hand through the entire process. We had to postpone our December 2020 wedding to December 2021 and they handled the change and communication with our vendors flawlessly. Our day could not have been more perfect. I can’t imagine doing a wedding without the John Gandy team! This is our 2nd daughter’s wedding, and our 2nd time to use JGE! Both daughters had different visions, and the JGE team made them exactly what they wanted! With the worry about rain for this last one, they kept me calm and made sure an amazing backup plan was ready! The day turned out beautiful, and the wedding was everything we had hoped it would be! Our daughter's wedding was held at The Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island in North Florida with approximately 300 guests. John Gandy Events (JGE) planned an amazing event, work on which began 14 months ago. Through a series of video calls amidst the pandemic, JGE was able to get to know our family and ascertain exactly what our daughter wanted for her special day. Every detail of the wedding, and the events leading up to it, was executed flawlessly with precision and style. Any time that we had a question, emails and phone calls were answered punctually. On the wedding day itself, whenever we turned around, it seemed a JGE staff member was there to address any and every concern. Due to well-earned trust in the JGE team, our daughter, son-in-law and our families were able to focus on enjoying the moment and just having fun. It was remarkable just how calm and composed John and his team remained no matter what situation arose. JGE professionally managed all vendors, coordinating timing and intersectionality such that all aspects of the wedding flowed seamlessly, with numerous guests commenting on how well things went. We simply cannot say enough about this amazing team. I wish that I could offer some constructive criticism, but we really cannot imagine this once-in-a-lifetime event going any better. There are no words to describe the team and their work ethic at John Gandy Events. As corny as it sounds, they really do make your wedding dreams come true. We never once had to stress about a thing because they were always on top of it. My wedding guest book didn't look like it was going to arrive on time, and Troy and John simply said "we've got it." On wedding day I saw a beautiful Thomasville, GA (where we had our reception) "coffee table" type of book laying out for guests to write within, which I thought was so cool and WAY better than a typical guest book you'd just store away somewhere in your house. Now our wedding guest book sits out on display on our coffee table. Something so small, but makes such a difference. JGE doesn't miss a detail. We cannot recommend them enough.

Wow, I cannot thank JGE enough for everything. They did an incredible job of making me feel like a star on my big day. Every detail was incredible. From start to finish, they made sure to ask me and my fiance what we wanted and they fulfilled every request. They were always punctual in their responses and when my mom was stressing about something, she was able to call the JGE team and they were able to resolve those worries so easily and with care. They really listened to our concerns and made sure that we felt listened to. Additionally, they were very friendly, professional people and easy to talk to. One incredible piece to our event was Emily Pozzouli. She was one of our main contacts at JGE and was our day-of coordinator. What an incredible person. She was so organized and professional and just a kind spirit. She made everything run so smoothly that I had the most incredible time at my own wedding. She made sure to get me anything I needed. And there was a really incredible lady named Janice who was at my every beck and call on my wedding day. She came to me and said, let me know if there is anything that you need and she was always there to assist in whatever I needed. Also, the decorations were phenomenal. JGE has a huuge warehouse full of decor that is included with your contract and they will walk you through it to let you pick out anything that you want at your event. And let me tell you, they have STYLE. Whatever style you want, they have it. And when they put it all together, it is truly incredible. Another thing is that they are so experienced and knowledgeable. They’ve been in business a looong time (or maybe it just seems like it because they’re so good!) and have such a vast knowledge about weddings, vendors, and events in general. If you are iffy about the price, let me tell you my mom and my new husband and I can tell you that it was worth every penny, seriously. We would not have done it any other way and were so glad we went with JGE. Another detail is that they have so many connections and got us an incredible rate on our hotel blocks and boy was that a steal! The rooms were almost half the price at the nicest hotels in town. And they worked closely with all of our vendors and made Sure that everyone was always on the same page. I seriously cannot thank them enough for making our day so freaking incredible. Thank you John, Emily, Janice, and Caylin. What a magical weekend.

Thanks to John Gandy and his team, my wedding was absolutely spectacular! Everything was perfect, from the timeline to the little details. Everything went as planned. I cannot begin to express how thankful I am for John Gandy Events. From the very first meeting to the end of the wedding day, they were absolutely the BEST! They always responded promptly, either by email, text or phone call. Whenever I had questions about vendors and who to use, they always gave me options and everyone of the vendors they suggested were truly wonderful. The very first meeting we had with John, he told me his goal was for me to wake up on the day of my daughter's wedding and not have to worry about a thing. He wanted me to be able to enjoy the day with her and that is exactly what happened. I could not have asked for a better day with her. Not only was he and his team great in the planning of the wedding, but the actual wedding day they all outdid themselves. He and his team showed up and never stopped ALL day. There are not enough words to describe how incredible our Wedding Day was in Lucerne, Switzerland because of John Gandy and his team. It is hard for me to even begin to write something that would come close to showing how appreciative we are that we had John as our Wedding Planner. When we knew we wanted to have an intimate Wedding across the World with our closest family and friends, we knew that John was the only one that could even come close to making our dreams come true. John did not just make them come true, he went beyond and gave us more than we could have ever wished for. John flew to Switzerland numerous times for site visits and meetings with our vendors. He scheduled every meeting and took care of every tiny detail. I never once worried about one thing. It was so important for us to spend quality time with the people we loved in a country that we love, and because of John, we got to do that with such ease and enjoyment. Beyond making our day so special, I can not even explain how exceptionally beautiful it was. It was more than I could have ever imagined. I truly felt like royalty because I could not believe that this was real life, and that I was so lucky to have the best Planner in the industry create this spectacular day for me and my groom. I still get emotional when I think about everything he and his team did for us just to make our day so wonderful. John Gandy Events is the most amazing wedding establishment we met in the planning process. They were constantly in communication with my beautiful bride and I. I couldn’t have imagined a more perfect wedding day for me and my now husband and that is truly all thanks to John, Emily, Janice, and the entire team from John Gandy Events. Leading up until the day of our wedding, the planning process was so easy and seamless. Our coordinator, Emily, ensured that every detail of our wedding was taken care of and secured and this was done so in the most organized manner. Communication was very open and the best suggestions were always given, which made for such an easy planning process. Knowing that I had a team with so much expertise and experience truly made for a stress-free time when planning. After all of the planning, we arrived at the day before our wedding and rain was in the forecast. We had originally planned on an outdoor ceremony. While the forecast was not looking to be in our favor, I was not a bit worried because Emily and Janice helped us develop an equally beautiful plan for the ceremony if there happened to be inclement weather. While this plan was in place, the JGE team did everything they could to make our dream of an outdoor ceremony come true and so it did! They organized entertainment from our musicians in the lobby of our venue and provided time for our guests to mix and mingle until the time of the ceremony arrived. During this time, guests were able to appreciate all of the gorgeous decor that was provided John Gandy’s furniture collection that was specially curated for our wedding. Everything was truly so beautiful. I knew that I had a vision for our wedding, but it was the team from John Gandy Events that truly made everything we had dreamed of for our wedding day come to life. It was the perfect day and we could not have done it without them!

As a bride, it is very easy to get anxious or flustered with the both the minute and major events of a wedding; however, John Gandy and his team were professional, PATIENT, and used their superior expertise in all things wedding to calm every one of my nerves. The one aspect of the wedding that I knew I needed to book before anything else, was JGE. After meeting with John, my parents and I had no question of who we needed to plan my wedding. John and his team are the epitome of professional! No longer living in the area, each trip to Tallahassee for wedding planning was so efficiently planned by JGE. In one trip I was able to visit the team and look through their MASSIVE warehouse of decorations and furniture, discuss any and every detail, and they even had an assortment of wedding cakes from various vendors for me to try. Planning a wedding from afar would have been exponentially more stressful if I didn’t have JGE! The John Gandy Events team thinks of everything, and truly is what every bride needs in her life. One huge advantage to working with JGE, they know and have worked with every vendor in the area. They know the ins and outs of event planning and it is obvious you are getting the best by working with them! Seeing John Gandy and his extraordinary team on the day of the wedding put me at such ease! The JGE team were lifesavers from the get-go. They stayed in contact throughout the planning process and always responded to our countless emails in a timely manner and ALWAYS pleasant. However, IT GETS BETTER.... the best part of the entire experience was the week and day of the wedding. I (the bride) was able to enjoy EVERY moment of getting ready with my bridesmaids and mother because EVERY SINGLE DETAIL was handled for the wedding. I did not have to worry about a single thing as far as decorations, vendors, food, reception, rehearsal... I simply sat back and enjoyed every second of my special day and when I walked into my ceremony and reception location it was a fairytale come true. His team was an honor to work with (Marina, Emily M., Emily P., Troy, Janice and even the man himself John as he was by our side from day one) and SO VERY HELPFUL. I felt like a princess with their very well trained and helpful staff that assisted ALL DAY long. ALSO, be sure to use his flower vendor, Darin. He is absolutely the BEST. He was honest, helpful and did a phenomenal job on all flowers, he took my pintrest page and went above my dreams. The JGE team (including his florist Darin) are THE BEST, hands down. I am not sure how anyone plans a wedding without JGE.
