Joliet Area Historical Museum offers four distinct spaces to host your special day. The Route 66 visitors center’s terrazzo floor and glass-enclosed space can host up to 60 guests seated or 125 standing. Weather permitting, this opens to the outside fountain garden. The rooftop terrace overlooks historic downtown Joliet. The tiled terrace is partially-roofed so that your guests have shelter from inclement weather and can host up to 175 seated guests, or 200 standing. The rooftop terrace is available from May 1 through October 15. The auditorium in the lower level of the museum accommodates 150 seated guests, or 200 standing. You and your guests can enjoy the limestone feature wall highlighting the 320-square-foot stage and pantry area, with upcycled barn wood fixtures.
