l day. I can not begin to describe how shockingly, breathtaking our photos came out and so far we've only just received the sneak peak! Even during our photos at the wedding, Josh gave us a quick look at what they looked like so far from his camera, and we didn't even recognize the people in his photos! He made us look like models and made us feel so natural and at ease the whole time. Josh does a beautiful job and has a good eye for detail. He took all of my photo requests to heart and even manged to fit in our nearly 2 page family photo list combinations! Bless him! Can't wait to see the rest of our album.

or the whole wedding party. We felt like we were in good hands. He stayed late, charmed our guests, and was somehow always present for photo opportunities and simultaneously inconspicuous. And the product was phenomenal. Josh's aesthetic and finished photos are beautiful and captured the rhythm and spirit of the day--and the charm of the space--perfectly. His photos gave us an invaluable gift that will last forever. Would recommend him highly to anyone.

efore our wedding, and I was amazed by the photos he provided a few days later. Josh was great directing us and made sure the photos were not too posed and captured some great candids. I hate having my photo taken, but Josh made me feel amazing and the photos are incredible. I was expecting 3 photos in our preview a few days after the wedding, but he delivered over 100 stunning photos. I can't wait to see the rest of them. If you are getting married or eloping in California, hire Josh!

t start by saying that he created an experience that went beyond every last one of my expectations. I knew before I even saw the photos that I made the right choice. He was patient, kind and encouraging. He laughed at terrible jokes and dealt with my very.... outlandish family. He found us the most incredible spot and was willing to meet the day before so we knew where to go. He was everything you could have hoped for in the person who would document the most important day of your life. And boy did he document. Within, I want to say 12 hours? He had a preview of close to 90 photos for us. 90! Edited and mind blowing photos from the various locations he took us to. And they made just about every person in my family cry. He so beautifully captured emotion, my good side, the complexity of all the colors I have on my body (thats tattoos for ya) and really managed to show the difference between the personality of my husband and of my own. I couldn’t recommend Joshua more and will find any reason to fly him down to my neck of the woods for more photos!

felt like he genuinely cared about making us look and feel good. He produced over 900 absolutely GORGEOUS images of us and our friends and family. I looked at a lot of photographers because I wanted someone who would be able to do something beyond the cliche wedding photographer stuff. Josh was better than we could have dreamed. It was so refreshing to speak to someone so personable and kind. Josh was able to learn a bit more about us and understand the style of photos we wanted and immediately sent us over some spots to get our feedback - they were perfect places for us to shoot at! The big day arrived and we had a blast together! We felt as though we had known Josh for years, rather than just meeting. Josh made us feel so comfortable, as if he wasn't even there while he was taking pictures. To say we are obsessed and absolutely in love with the photos would be an understatement. His ability to capture such raw, beautiful candid moments is truly a craft he has mastered. Josh has given us once in lifetime photos that we will cherish forever. We are so grateful to be able to relive such an amazing journey in our story when looking at these pictures!

He went above and beyond to get the "right" shot (which ended up being so many for us). We shot in different locations and got different angles that demonstrated different feelings and moments. Everyone has told us that our pictures are stunning and beautiful, but what is most important to me is that he captured us as we are. He caught so many pictures of us being candid. All our pictures look natural and the happiness and love we felt that day beams through. In addition, he sent us a good portion of pictures the very next morning! He is the best!!! Our engagement pictures were so amazing some people joked that we no longer need a wedding. :)

ng for. The days leading up to the shoot, we learned that there was going to be non-stop rain for the entire weekend of our stay in Cali. However, Josh was very reassuring and accommodating. Not only did he assure us that rainy photography can be pretty in its own way, he is also willing to reschedule us based on our availability. We're very relieved by this. And he was absolutely right: our rainy sunset session was incredibly magical and romantic, despite the hailing at the beginning of the shoot. He has a great eye for natural lighting and his aesthetic is spare yet romantic. If you're still hesitating, stop, and just book him!

e to work out some of the details of where and when we'd meet. He was familiar with the resort where we stayed and had suggestions for where we might get some good shots. We loved that Joshua was receptive to our requests and ideas for what we wanted to capture, but also offered great guidance and recommendations for shots that would look nice and locations to shoot. He was quick to turn around a handful of nice shots right away so we could share our great news with family and friends. The rest of our album was ready in 2 and half weeks. Joshua's work is great and he seemed truly happy to be a part of our special moment. Plus he came out on a holiday! We couldn't be more pleased with our choice to work with him.
