Jo was the perfect wing woman for our wedding day! From making sure my dress, hair and makeup were always in perfect position, to her amazing eye for photography, she was the best! She was so pleasant to be around and was always checking to see if I liked how I looked in the photos. Our sneak peak photos were absolutely amazing! We will definitely be using her for everything in the future. She’s so talented!

If you are looking for someone that is laid back, knows what they are doing and enjoys what they do, Jordyn is your girl! She is professional and gives direction while taking photos. She makes it fun! I knew when I started planning our destination wedding I wanted Jordyn to come with. Her work is stunning and I needed someone My husband and I were comfortable with. Jordyn took all the stress away from us while shooting. She even helped me do my hair! I can not imagine capturing these moments a different way. Finding someone to trust to take photos of such special moments was such a challenge. I did so much research, but I kept going back to Jordyn's website because of her style. I booked her for our elopement in early summer and for our reception in the fall, and after all of the amazing photos she took, I truly cannot recommend her enough! Our engagement photos were beautiful, and made me feel completely confident about picking Jordyn to be our wedding photographer. She captured how intimate and beautiful our Northern Michigan elopement was, while feeling like part of the family. She made it so easy to feel confident in front of the camera, and I now have so many beautiful photos with my husband and family. She captured all the details I worked so hard on at our reception, and she didn't miss a single important moment. You won't regret booking her!

Jordyn was so wonderful throughout our whole wedding process. From the engagement photos through our wedding we were so happy we chose her to photograph our wedding. The photos turned out amazing. She also listens to what the bride and groom want for their day. I didn't want it to feel like we were taking pictures all day and she made sure we didn't feel that way. She also helped out with so many other aspects of our day (like being the seamstress for one of my bridesmaids dress who fell apart) and I can't imagine if she wasn't there!

If you are debating booking with Jordyn, DO IT. The talent this woman holds is unmatched. She has now photographed my sisters wedding back in 2021 and this year she photographed my cousin's wedding in July, which turned out absolutely breathtaking. Her photos truly take you back to that moment in time and bring back all the fuzzy/happy feelings you felt on your special day. She is personable, funny, goofy and not to mention beautiful inside and out. If you are looking for photos that you only thought existed in fairytales, she is your girl.

Jordyn is absolutely fantastic and I cannot say enough amazing things about her. She is truly a Jane of all trades and wears many hats. Not only is her work absolutely beautiful and a display of true talent, but she goes above and beyond for her clients and my husband and I were no exception. Jordyn was amazing!! She made my (now) husband and I feel so comfortable and kept us laughing throughout the whole day. I was nervous going into the photos for the day, but Jordyn made everything feel natural and lighthearted. She made sure my hair and makeup was looking good and helped keep the day running smoothly, which was such a huge help!! Her editing is so gorgeous and we can’t wait to see the finished products! Jordyn is THE BEST!!! Not only did she take absolutely beautiful pictures, but she also helped fix my dress, hair, and makeup throughout the night. She moved things along so smoothly and made sure we got every shot we wanted and more! She got along great with our bridal party and even made sure me and my husband got some appetizers. If you’re in the southeast Michigan area and need a photographer for your wedding, stop looking and go with Jordyn. Not only did she capture our wedding day perfectly she also: helped fix my hair, pic burs off my dress, tape (and re-tape) my boobs in place, and help get drinks- just to name a few of the things she had no obligation to do, but did regardless because that’s who she is. However that isn’t even the best part, more than anything she made us feel comfortable. For being two people who hate being in the spotlight, on a day that is literally just about us, Jordyn was everything we needed. She was more than professional while also being funny, personable, and genuinely excited to celebrate the day with us. I can not recommend her enough and will forever appreciate the roll she had on our wedding day.

Jordyn is everything you could ever want in a photographer. She is highly professional, has great vision, and has a GREAT sense of humor. She went ABOVE AND BEYOND all my expectations for a photographer. If you are a bride who may be introverted, overwhelmed about stepping into the spotlight for your big day, or claims they are not photogenic - LOOK NO FURTHER. Jordyn was a saving grace to me and my husband who were dreading all the photos. She made the day fun and even helped us to sneak off for some personal photos that my husband and I say are our favorite because it was just the two of us and Jordyn. As a bride who struggles to find her own voice and vision, Jordyn was the PERFECT ally to have on my wedding day. She gave me confidence when I usually struggle in front of the camera, and backed me up 100%. I never usually look back at pictures of myself, but with Jordyn's work, I cant help but go back to those photos every time i'm feeling a little down in the self-confidence department. I cant say enough good things about her. Truly.

All I can say is my daughter Sydney’s wedding to Conner would not of been the same without her!! She was amazing and took charge and knew what we wanted in pictures before we did!! She actually felt like one of the family, so much so that my niece booked her for her wedding that night for her 2022 summer wedding. The lighting, the angles, and her patience getting everyone one in place for the perfect shot( especially the groomsmen) showed us how much pride she has in what she does. I give her a 100 out of 10. Can’t wait to see all the shots from the wedding and have her join us in another family event next year!! Nothing but love for Jordyn and her crew and her never ending talents!!!!

I don’t even know where to start with this review. Our experience with Jordyn was above and beyond, plus, everything we could have ever wished for. Jordyn was hands down amazing! She really knows how to get her job done while also being personable and fun. By the end of my cousins wedding I felt like we had been friends for years. Her photos are stunning and you can’t beat the service! 10/10!

Jordyn and her assistant did such an Amazing job on my wedding photos! She captured so many great moments from my wedding that I will cherish forever! Jordyn was great to work with, she was so friendly, easygoing, professional, helpful and went above and beyond for me on our wedding day! I cant say enough great things about her! Jordyn and her assistant, Mike, we’re so fun, efficient, and helpful ! Jordyn also filmed a small highlight reel video of our wedding. We love our photos and can’t wait to looking at them for years to come!

I seriously cannot say enough good things about Jordyn. At the engagement shoot she helped my now-husband and I feel comfortable and at ease. She was so efficient and did an amazing job coaching us and finding creative backdrops/angles for the photos. She even got some great shots of us with our very wiggly dog. Jordyn went above and beyond on our wedding day. Seriously, she even helped me with my hair and make-up. During the getting-ready part of the day, I mentioned to her that my father has recently been diagnosed with brain cancer. She coordinated a "first look" with me and my dad, which was incredibly emotional for both of us. Later, after getting sunset pictures of me and my husband, she pulled my parents aside and got sweet photos of them together. I can't describe how special having those pictures are. Jordyn was so organized, friendly, and fun. Our guests kept telling us how impressed they were by her. My maid of honor got married earlier this year and wished her wedding photographer had been more like Jordyn. The photos themselves are beautiful. Jordyn is very talented, we're especially impressed by her skill with different lightings and creatively incorporating the environment. My husband and I are both camera-shy. It's hard to catch our natural smiles in photos, but Jordyn managed it. I love being able to look back on the pictures and seeing how happy we both were that day. I would hire her again in a second.

When you celebrate an important life event, you want to hold on to that memory forever. You want to close your eyes and be able to remember every detail, every emotion, every color, and every wind blown piece of hair. When choosing a photographer you wonder; How will that be captured? What about all my insecurities? You start your search. You go to all the social media platforms, you look at portfolios, you read reviews, and you try to choose the best for you and your event. I can not say enough about Pixels and Paint photography. Her creativity and imagination are beyond anything I’ve ever seen. She has an eye for detail, and will capture every single one. Even the ones you may have missed. She makes you feel so warm and comfortable. She listens and takes in to consideration your insecurities and wants. There was never any doubt. I knew the outcome would be spectacular. And it was. Anyone who has worked or will work with her will without a doubt feel the same.

I'm OBSESSED with my pictures from Pixel & Pine! Jordyn recently shot my small wedding at a gazebo in Port Huron, and she was incredible to work with! She has an amazing eye, she was super nice and professional, and even went above and beyond by scoping out the area and finding a nice place on the river 2 blocks away for additional photos! I have no idea how she was everywhere at once but she captured everything! We have never had professional pictures taken before and she was really helpful and had great suggestions that I'm really thankful for! We had a last minute change to our wedding venue (thanks, COVID) so we were rushing to find a new vendors; I came across Pixel & Pine on The Knot and decided to send them an email to see if they were even available for our wedding date on such short notice. After I sent my inquiry email, I got an answer within 2 hours. Jordyn was able to make a custom photography package that fit our needs; we were between 2 different packages and she created a custom one for us. On our wedding day, Jordyn took charge, which is exactly what I want in a photographer, I need someone to just tell me where to stand and what to do and I'm good, and thats exactly what Jordyn did. She had so many great ideas that I would have never even thought of doing. Our wedding was in my parents yard, so she had to get creative with where to take some pictures. I've had several family members and friends rave about how awesome Jordyn was and I couldn't agree more! Her assistant, Nicoll is also amazing and answers emails very promptly!

I hired Pixel and Pine for my June wedding and I couldn’t be happier! Jordyn did a great job capturing my special moments and even added a bit of creativity to the pictures. She was very easy to work with, responded promptly to my questions and overall gave us what we were looking for.
