The team was so great and personable. I gave them a list of things I wanted to be sure and capture and shots I wanted. They were so good to remind me of those details and get everything I wanted. Easy to work with, great people!

I was impressed with Daniel, the photographer from Joy Photo and Video. You can tell he really knows how to capture the vibe. He was everywhere he needed to be, and even went above and beyond assisting others. I'll definitely keep Joy in mind for future events.

I would HIGHLY recommend Joy Photo & Video! We just finished our services for our 5/25/25 wedding in San Antonio, TX with photographer, Catherine, and Videographer, Sara! We got an awesome rate for both. Joy P&V made every step of the process EASY and made installments stretch — they reached out frequently & had us fill out a timeline, which made doing our own, personal timeline a BREEZE because the template had every important moment set up and ready to just fill out. They connected us with a photographer and videographer from our city and gave us their contact information to reach out. We opted to not have a day-of-coordinator at our wedding, but we felt like we had one because the photographer and videographer kept to the schedule and gave us reminders throughout the evening. We are so happy to have worked with this company, and specifically Sara & Catherine!! We can’t wait to get our photos and videos

I was a bit apprehensive to use this company. Initially, it was a bit hard to contact who needed to be contacted and we didn't find out the name of the photographer and videographer till a few days from the event. However, a month prior, we were a part of a big group chat, which still was daunting as we thought our wedding would get lost amidst all the other couples. All questions were answered! With the amazing prices, I was also worried about getting new photographers/videographers who didn't know what they were don't. Joy assures us their editing is universal despite having multiple clients across states. And, man, HOW WRONG I WAS TO WORRY! Alex, our photographer, was a seasoned champion and showed up early. He taught me how to pose early on to avoid the double chin and fat arms haha he caught the perfect moments, a true LEGEND. He was charming and a delight to work with, making us equally feel comfortable. And Brandon, well he hones in on the details and is a perfectionist when it comes to filming. He had a vision for the videos and made quite the pair with Alex, going above and beyond. He does the work of two multiple people ;) We didn't have quite enough time with him and still, his raw footage and the video, were just EVERYTHING. Thank you for capturing our special day,

At first, I was skeptical about hiring Joy Photography and videographer, to my surprise they were just simply amazing they came on time they showed up on time. They paid attention to details. The price was just what I needed to pay. It was unbelievable Thank you Joy. I am so happy that I went with your company and I will definitely refer you and this company to anyone.

Our photographer was switched last minute to Sarah with Joy Photo and Video and unfortunately she did not have time to go over our timeline. She took 45 minutes to set up after she was already running close on time. Instead of following the timeline she decided to do her own thing which was fine until my fiance and I only had 30 minutes to get pictures together. after she was provided dinner and ate for 30 minutes she said she needed a break and went to the house that was wedding party only. she missed my finance and I’s first dance as well as the best man and maid of honor speeches. On top of it all, she left 15 minutes early. I would not recommend her. She was nice but that’s about the only nice thing I have to say.

We had an amazing experience with Joy photography. Michael, the photographer and Luis, the videographer were so professional and kind to us on our special day. Our pictures and video came out absolutely beautiful. I would 10 out of 10 recommend Joy Photography to anyone getting married.

Love our photographer Vincent Tan, he’s so respectful and responsible to even arrive at the venue earlier than the contract and love his fun, joyful vibe that happy for make the couple laugh and satisfy whatever they would like for the picture poses.

They set up meetings and followed up frequently to make sure we were still ok. Daniel Gortaire and JC helped my wife and I capture our wedding and they worked with us throughout the day despite random delays. They were very attentive and helpful with pointing things out during our the videos/photos. They were overall a pleasure to work with.

Erica took the time to schedule a Zoom and went over my timeline, and I could see how much she cared about making sure we got the pictures we wanted . Our photographer was Roberto, who was amazing. He took a ton of time arranging us and our guests in the group photos to make sure everything looked perfect. He spent a lot of time adjusting lighting, the veil, the dress, etc. He was incredibly sweet, professional, and clearly very experienced. I’m very happy with my experience with Roberto and Joy Photography! Highly recommend!

I had the pleasure of having Inna as my photographer & Verve as my videographer capturing my special day in NY. They were such a pleasure to work with and super kind. They would help me fix my veil and dress to get the perfect shots. They were so kind and patient with my groom and I and as well as our guests. They were professional and made me feel so at ease on such a happy day filled with excitement. From the start they have lots of communication with a person via zoom and the phone. I had the pleasure of having someone help me create a realistic timeline for the photographer and videographer. They are very thorough and are quickly to answer any questions. I’ve had a great experience.

I am very unhappy with my exprience, Photographer and Videographer. I got the 6 hour photo and video for Joliet, IL. My orignal photographer got sick and they called in a replacement. She had no idea what she was doing and myself as the bride had to tell her what I wanted AND specified in the forms, I didn’t even get the most important photo of me, the groom and our children. On top of that, a lot of my photos were messed up and she didn’t care to point out to fix this or that on my posture/makeup/hair etc. Luckily photoshop helped a little bit, which is the only great thing out of this package. I also decided to buy the RAW video so I could have my ceremony video. My photographer was in the way while my party walked down the aisle. My videoprahper and photographer were talking through my whole ceremony!!!!!!! I can’t even express how angry this makes me, you can barely hear our vows over them talking. I paid 300$ for this. I can’t get that moment back and I think it’s so rude they did that. Also Videographer hit on my maid of honor most of the reception, super unprofessional. I honestly would not refer anyone to use this company for at least illinois.

One of the best decisions we made for our wedding was to choose Joy Photo and Video to document our day. They were the most wonderful people and captured everything we wanted and more that day! They communicated thoroughly throughout the planning process, including a detailed list of what photos we want and calls to discuss logistics of the day. The team was able to come up to Sedona for our wedding no problems, and were prompt to put starting time. Katy our photographer was an absolute pleasure-even the guests raved of how sweet she was! The photos she captured are magical, and she made sure to capture a lot of candid moments as we requested. What’s great is it didn’t feel like there was ever a camera nearby/in my face, so we are natural and at ease in our photos. Sean the videographer is amazing! He was so fun, and also had a drone for our epic mountain views that day. We cannot wait to see the finished video as we know it’ll be fantastic. We only had the team for 6 hours, but my goodness did they use the time efficiently! We had all the moments captured that we wanted, plus so many more. Do yourself a favor and hire Joy Photo for your photographer/videographer team!

Chris was our photographer for our wedding in Orlando, FL and he was amazing! Working with joy photo and video has been a breeze and they made the process so easy. I can't wait to get our photos!

DONT DO IT , communication is poor with this company. My husband and I are very disappointed and sad because the pictures that we received could have been done better and better quality and not all of the pictures that we REQUESTED on our shot list were taken which were the ones we MOST WANTED. The photographer wasn’t all that friendly or directive during pictures. We gave it a 2 star review because our videographer was nice and we are hoping to get a decent wedding video other than that it would have been a 1 star. We tried addressing this with Josh and there seems to be little to no concern about our complaints. Over all go with someone else.

Joy Photo and Video met all of my expectations! Josh was so great to work with for timeline and consultations! Will was our photographer and Shane was our videographer! They were both so incredible and had no problem with wearing a mask since I’m immunocompromised. Aside from their amazing personalities, their work was also just as incredible! Will did amazing at capturing intimate moments and Shane was just as on top of it! I also really appreciated that they worked so well together and were professional. The editing team at Joy was absolutely wonderful as well and did an impeccable job with our photos. I am so happy we found you guys and will happily pass word around to other couples. We couldn't have been happier with Joy Photo and Video at our wedding! Glenn Gross was our photographer and he captured so many memorable moments throughout the day that we will always cherish. When we received our media I came across a photo of my father kissing me on the cheek during the bride and father dance, which will forever be a cherished moment between us. I'm very thankful and astonished that this moment was captured! Derralyn Morgan was our videographer and he captured so many moments that will always be remembered. He not only captured our entire wedding, but also coordinated with us to get every special moment that we desired. He also sent us a preview video highlight until we received the offical video highlight from Joy Photo and Video. I would recommend this company to all my family and friends!

I enjoyed my time with Joy. We had several planning conversations, they covered every detail of my photo and video desires, they were punctual, transparent, and communicated well. I am VERY much a detailed person, and I painstakingly asked for specifics in my videos and they did just what I asked. I would book them again if I needed to!

I am utterly disappointed in the photos and service that we revived from Joy Photo and Video. Our photographer (Kaleb) did not meet our expectations as a photographer. I had a zoom meeting with him prior to our wedding day to help me feel more comfortable and went over what I expected on the day of such at helping pose individuals especially for portraits and family photos. Unfortunately, there was no direction from him; he was extremely lackadaisical and unmotivated on the day. We got the photos back there are large gaps/spacing in the group photos, some people are covered up to where they are just heads peeking over shoulders, some of them were out of focus, some of the portraits the wind was blowing and people's hair are messy. There was no mention of helping fix hair or reposition my dress. I was also upset that for the First Look, the photographer didn't catch my husbands reaction but mine? Some of the photos, the background is so BRIGHT-- the edited version looked worse. I was so devastated that I just let them sit on my computer, I did't want to look at them. I'm in tears. I thought this was going to be a great experience but I am gravely heartbroken by the quality of our photos and the lack of care by our photographer.

I loved using Joy photo and video and used both of their services. The people they sent out were super nice, arrived early, and were easy to work with. I am also satisfied with the media I got back. I recommend for weddings.

Great communication. Loved being able to have all my pictures. Not just the editted ones. The video was amazing. I cry every time I see it. They did an amazing job. The photographer and videographer were able to tell us what to do and get some great shots.

This review is for Delaney! Delaney was an amazing videographer. So hard working and had lots of great feedback while shooting our wedding in Sausalito, Ca. She took the lead and initiative for this day like a videographer should as weddings are fast moving with many working parts. Joy Photo and Video is lucky to have her. We had plenty of beautiful photos and our highlight video came out amazing. I can’t stop watching it! lol.

I think this is a next level up of hiring your brother as a photographer. The photographer was mediocre. He’s nice but he doesn’t have the shot ideas like the actual professionals. My maid of honor had to step in and help direct the photo. I have a long train on my dress, he didn’t even check or fix the train for the couple shots. My daughter performed a song during the wedding and we only have 1 picture of her. Scheduling is a nightmare. Instead of talking to someone, they kept on sending a calendar invite that is 2 weeks out. Their photoshop skill is horrible. My daughter has a cross eye now. And they can’t even out my son’s skin tone. And the best part, I don’t think they QV their job. Who would send a picture of a kid with cross eye. They were suppose to just remove a bug bite on her eye. So yeah you get what you pay for I guess.

Hands down just amazing service!!!! We had a few hiccups on our wedding day but it all came together beautifully!! Truly thankful for my photographer Dariush and our videographer Jamie they both were great wish I could do it again just to recreate a spectacular day! I hired joy photo and video to video-graph my wedding and they were awesome and affordable!!! My videographer was changed very last minute but it was all Gods plan because he showed up and showed out!! Timothy Chang and his assistant were awesome. Timothy told us different poses and choreography that really made all the difference (I’m so awkward 🤣) we even made a TikTok getting ready and he was so dedicated he got in the room with us and was able to film the behind the scenes lol. I just got my videos back today (highlight reel and a 30 minute documentary) and I can’t even fathom how in love I am with them!!! Out of all my vendors I rounded up, joy photo and video had me the most excited!! Perfect video to show our kids when we have them :)

I really cannot say enough good things about Kim and how our wedding photos turned out!! My (now) husband and I loved having Kim be part of our special day. She was such a joy to work with and was so happy to try and accommodate our requests. She made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera and captured everything we were looking for. Honestly the raw photos before they got edited we're beautiful enough to use and I think that just shows how talented she really is!! If we were still living in Ohio, she would certainly become our family's photographer! Even several of our family and friends commented on how wonderful she was to work with. I also love the way Joy Photography edited our photos. We couldn't be happier with the final result!!!

He was so kind and patient and listened to exactly what we wanted and followed our shot list to a T!
