I cannot say enough about Joyful Video!!! Throughout the whole planning process as well as even afterwards, they have been incredibly responsive, reliable and easy and great to deal with! My husband and I are obsessed with our wedding video because of how great of a job they did!!! We just watched it on our one year anniversary 😊 on our wedding day they made it effortless and we couldn’t even tell they were filming us! But they definitely captured everything!! Please consider Joyful video for videographer for your upcoming wedding, you won’t be disappointed!!!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Joyful Video. Not only is the quality of their work phenomenal, but their patience level is unmatchable— I got married in 2015... and I’m literally the worst procrastinator with anything they’ve asked of me.. fast forward 5 years now, and I’ve finally done my homework for them, and will have my beautiful video in hand soon! (And they were still so incredibly kind to me, even though I must have been the biggest pain)! I can tell you this- you may go back and forth on whether or not you want to invest in a videographer- don’t hesitate, and don’t second guess these guys! As someone who has lost people who are in my wedding video, I’m so thankful that I have a visual remembrance of such a wonderful, beautiful day, and am able to see their faces again. Joyful Video are sweethearts, professional, and seamlessly fade into the background of your magical night. They’re there when you want them and need them to be, and are able to be a fly on the wall too, so you can enjoy those precious special moments. Although I was debating even get a videographer for my wedding, I am so happy I did and even happier that we went with Joyful Video! Michael and Jesse were so quick to answer all of my questions and were great explaining the different packages and options to us, which were extremely affordable! As the wedding day drew closer they continued to check in about any questions I had and were very flexible with the schedule of the day. On the day of the wedding they were so professional and put us right at ease, we barely noticed they were there! My husband and I were thrilled with the outcome of our video, and all of our friends and family we have shown are obsessed with it as well. The video was so personal to us and they captured all of the fun and silly moments, plus they added a "blooper" section which we LOVED!! Joyful video & Michael are incredible to work with. Michael is so sweet and flexible and truly aims to deliver the highest quality product. My husband and I are so grateful for our wedding video, which perfectly captures the day. We felt confident with our purchase and truly believe we got the MOST + some for our money. We decided to book a videographer for our wedding only about a month out and boy, were we lucky to find Joyful Video! Michael was so accommodating and so easy to work with. He, along with his assistant Jesse, took wonderful shots and captured beautiful moments throughout our wedding day. We barely even knew they were there! Our videos came out fantastic and the edits were terrific and seamless. Compared to other and more expensive videographers, I truly believe Joyful Video has the best quality for their value. Other companies quoted us triple the price for just an 5-8 minute video. Joyful, however, created an hour long video of the full ceremony, toasts, dances, and speeches, along with a 10 minute highlight video. They even include "bloopers" and funny moments at the end, which are great to see after a whirlwind of a day. We cannot recommend Joyful Video enough and feel so grateful to have found them!

We were told that having a videographer at our wedding would be one of the best decisions we could make. On our hunt to find a videographer, Joyful Video was recommended to us by other professional videographers. Their online portfolio spoke for itself and we are so happy we chose Joyful Video; they were awesome! The videos and quality were so wonderful! They perfectly captured our fun, loving and silly quirks and we loved watching the videos over and over! We were reccomended by friends to use Joyful Video and I am SO happy we did. I literally had no worries at any point before my wedding or even during. Michael was so kind and made sure we had every detail discussed before the big day so things would run smoothly. It's so nice feeling confident in who you hire to help capture these moments on your big day. On the day of the wedding, Micheal was RIGHT on time and to be honest, I didn't even realize they were there! They were so behind the scenes and made it just feel so natural throughout the entire evening. I am counting down the days until we get to see our video. My husband and I were debating on getting a videographer for our wedding, and boy am I glad we did! Not only is it worth every penny, but Michael and his team were absolutely phenomenal. He was a delight talking to the first day I called, and continuously through out our emails and phone calls leading up to the wedding. The day of the wedding Michael and his team were polite, respectful and extremely gracious. I would not have wanted any other team at our wedding that day. Weeks later we received our video, and every time I watch it I immediately go back to the memories and emotions of that day. They captured it all. We used Joyful Video services for our October 2017 wedding and we couldn't be more pleased. Michael was a joy to work with: calm, sweet and unobtrusive... we barely noticed he and his assistant were there, and yet the video turned out to be beautiful. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

We were not originally planning on hiring a videographer, but after watching my husband's grandparent's wedding video from the 1950s, we decided it was something we would love to have for future years. We absolutely loved working with Joyful Video! We started looking for a videographer just a month before our big day, after we found out that a few relatives wouldn't be able to attend the wedding. Michael was extremely helpful and informative, and didn't put any pressure on me to book (which is eventually why we did decide to book him!) The day of, Michael and his partner were by far our favorite vendors. I loved their "fly on the wall" style of being there to capture everything without being intrusive at all...and they were so kind to me and everyone else at the wedding. As for the final product...we love it! So thankful that we made the decision to go with Joyful.

Mike & Jesse were awesome!!! They did an amazing job capturing my wedding! We watched the full/ long video with my mom and really enjoyed reliving our wedding day. I barely noticed Mike & Jesse, they did a great job of staying out of sight and still documenting all the moments. The highlight video was funny and sweet! I enjoyed working with them so much I convinced my sister to hire them for her wedding. By the end of the second wedding, they felt like part of our family!

I was surprised at how expensive weddings are so when making a budget a videographer was the first thing that got cut. Less than one week before my wedding my mom and I decided to see if hiring a videographer was possible. We contacted 6 companies based off their "value" score on different websites. Joyful Videos was one of those companies. After looking at their videos I decided Joyful was my top pick. I decided this because I liked his style of video the best. I liked that there was talking and communication in the videos. If I hire a videographer I want that person to capture what the still photographer could not capture- personalities and moments. HIRING MICHAEL AND JOYFUL VIDEO WAS THE ABSOLUTE BEST DECISION I MADE THE WHOLE ENTIRE WEDDING. It scares me to think of my wedding without him there. We could not be more happy with our "highlight" video or our full length video. I have watched my highlight video over 20 times and I laugh and cry each time I watch it. I love it more and more each time. Besides his work being incredible his professionalism and work ethic is unmatched. He was right I didn't see him all day. He caught moments I didn't know happened and moments I did know happened, but I didn't realize he was there to catch them. He got me our highlight video and full length video with edits before my professional photographer got us anything. I honestly think it was fate that Michael and Joyful Videos were available less than a week before my wedding. I am thankful every day that we hired a videographer and especially them. Even if you think you don't want a videographer I would suggest you get one and specifically Michael and Joyful Video. I cant thank them enough for what they did for me and my wedding.

We recieved our videographer as a gift that will be cherished forever. My sister used Joyful Video for her wedding and told me that if we were to get a videographer, it had to be them! She and my siblings took care of all the expenses for us and suprosed us the day of. We have watched her wedding video at least once a year since 2008, bc it is truly like watching a movie! NOW WE HAVE ONE OF OUR OWN (that is even BETTER than my sisters hehe) I would recommend this company to anyone and everyone for any event. They caught every moment and you never even knew they were there. However, there were a few times they laughed with us, which made the day even better. The music, the video itself, the images added, the outtakes, guest messages and all those special moments were ALL in the video WITH a credit list at the end LIKE A MOVIE!!! PLUS, they captured the ride and scenery through each part of the day to incorporate our home town! JUST AMAZING... and for the amount of video, extras and copies of the video...the price is unbeatable, trust me...I did my research after the wedding :) JOYFULL ALL THE WAY!!!!

My husband and I can give our highest recommendation to Joyful Video for wedding videography services. They are highly professional and the finished product they provided is truly impressive. At first, we did not intend to record our wedding on video. However, many of our friends and family members told us that they regretted not recording their own weddings. We initially decided to work with Joyful Video because their price seemed much more reasonable than other vendors in the area and because many of the reviews said that they were unobtrusive and out of the way. This definitely turned out to be true: my husband and I hardly noticed their presence at all at the wedding and ceremony, and I believe that many of our guests probably didn't even realize the wedding was video recorded. When we watched the finished video, it was amazing to see the kind of footage they got, especially since we hardly noticed them during the event. We have had a chance to watch the video several times with my family and my in-laws, and everyone has been truly impressed with the quality of the video and the editing. It has allowed us to re-experience the day, and I know it is something we will revisit many times in the years to come. The one-hour video contains a good portion of the wedding ceremony, and then tons of footage from the reception. It includes all of the speeches and footage of the special dances (father-daugher and mother-son). There is also lots of footage of the venue and we were able to see details that we missed during the event itself. We live in Baltimore, so we had to coordinate with Michael from a distance, but he was nothing but helpful and professional over the phone and through email. We would absolutely recommend Joyful Video to our family and friends.

I am so happy that I choose Joyful Video for my wedding video! I would give them more than 5 stars, but the computer won’t let me… My photographer recommended Michael and I couldn’t be happier that I made the decision to book them. From our first meeting, Michael was very professional, easy to communicate with, and was quick to respond to our questions. Every request we had, he did not hesitate to fulfill. Michael and Jesse were very much in the background the entire day, but somehow managed to capture every moment. I even had guests comment on how unobtrusive they were and how nice it was to not have a camera in your face. After the wedding, Michael was wonderful in keeping me up to date on the status of the video and being available for any questions we had. As to the video, we just watched our highlights video and I am completely in love with it! They did such a wonderful job of capturing the emotion of the day, from the background music to the conversations they included. FAB-U-LOUS I'M JUST SAYIN This review should have been done weeks ago but better late than never. We can not express how happy and pleased we were to use Joyful Video for our wedding. Michael and Jesse were not only professional they were friendly and very courteous. They were unobtrusive both during the ceremony and reception and went above and beyond in every aspect of the finished product. We have watched the video alone and with several family members we all laughed and we cried it was edited perfectly. I know some couples don't want their weddings videotaped for one reason or another but when you do it allows you to revisit a wonderful magical day over and over again. Michael and the Joyful Video team were fantastic! I found them through a Wedding Channel deal for a 30-minute highlight video. When we received the DVD's, we immediately realized that they were above and beyond our expectations and what we paid for. The DVD contains a 40 minute video with full editing including sound, a separate clip of the groom's long speech, and a 6 minute "trailer" shorter version which I could share with friends via social media. The trailer is a big hit! You can tell that they put a lot of time, hard work and skill into the videos. Don't hesitate to hire Joyful Video, I'm so thankful I did!

I choose Joyful Video for several reasons: I loved the sample videos on their website, I needed to spend as little as possible yet still get quality (because my protesting husband thought wedding videos were cheesy), and I had a coupon. :-) I was nervous to try a company that wasn't referred to me, but I took a chance and was SOOOO glad I did. Joyful Video is an amazing boutique company that will work with you to deliver exactly what you want in a very high quality, chic way. I got married at an aquarium with sharks and such swimming all around us. It was a dim environment, with the little light reflecting weirdly off the huge tanks. I worried that it would show up poorly on film, but Michael and Jesse did astonishing work. My main goals in planning the party were for it to look rich (in spite of the tons of coupons I used), elegant (could've been a stretch with a children's venue), and fun. The two of them captured the day exactly as I experienced it. They highlighted what was important to us and strung it together in an amazing way. I was especially impressed at the post-production editing. After I hired them, I began producing commercials for my job and realized exactly how much went into editing a film. I became even more impressed at the effort put in AFTER my wedding to capture the day's magical feel. They didn't just film the day's events. They filmed and created a story. They went above and beyond in every way possible. I have already recommended them to others! When the credits rolled, my husband turned to me and gave me a high five. "Good call on the wedding video," he said. He was so impressed with Michael and Jesse's work that he admitted he was wrong. :-)

Joyful Video did an amazing job at my wedding. They were so nice and friendly. They were not intrusive at all - they faded into the background. The video that they put together for me was great. It was beautiful and at times it was really funny. The first time my husband and I watched it, we couldn't stop laughing. We actually came across Joyful Video through Living Social and, after a look at the footage on their website, decided to take a chance, and go with it. It was probably the best wedding vendor decision we made! We first met Michael at the wedding and he had a very positive presence. He was there to capture everything, but not at all in an overbearing sort of way. He stayed for the entire evening and didn't miss a moment. Immediately after the wedding, Michael let us know when we could expect the wedding video. When it came, we were so thrilled. Not only was our video nearly twice the length of what we had paid for, but it was clear just how much thought Michael had put into it. There are very touching moments that are beautifully interwoven with humorous ones. It perfectly captures the best evening of our lives and we couldn't be happier that I opened that Living Social e-mail and found Joyful Video. We would recommend them one million times over!

We LOVE Joyful Video and they did SUCH an AMAZING job on our wedding video! Michael and Jesse are so nice, very professional and truly talented! We came across Joyful Video online while planning for our wedding and could not be more pleased with the result. Besides being two incredibly nice guys, Michael and Jesse were always very responsive, easy to work with and the work product was great. My husband and I were sticking to a strict budget and were concerned that their prices seemed too good to be true but now friends are upset that they paid 3X as much for their videographer and our videos came out so much better than theirs! The turn around time for the video was quick, the highlight video was a lot of fun, many of the shots they got were great (and my mom has asked for stills of some of the video pictures) and they truly captured every detail we could have wanted from the wedding. I just received my wedding video from Joyful Video last week. It is truly amazing! They captured so many beautiful, happy, and hilarious moments! The editing was superb...they managed to get all the best moments into a 30-60min video after about 10hours of filming. I know when my family and friends see this video they will rave about it like I am. The night the video arrived I was home alone...I literally spend 5 1/2 hours watching it repeatedly. Thank you Joyful Video, I couldn't be happier!!!

Choosing a videographer was one of the hardest vendor searches I undertook (much to be chagrin, I found the quality of videographers in the NY area to be abysmal), but it was well worth the wait because I stumbled across a true gem - Joyful Video! From the moment I first spoke to Michael, I was 100% confident that I had made the right choice. He was extremely responsive and accommodating and eased all of my fears about the video quality (no, you should not have to settle for shaky camera!). He even let me add custom elements to my package, as a wedding trailer was of the utmost importance to me. On the big day, when Michael and Jesse arrived at my bridal suite, they instantly made all of us feel comfortable with their presence - they conducted themselves so professionally and were more unobtrusive than I could have ever dreamed possible! They somehow managed to stay entirely in the background (so much so that the majority of our guests didn't even realize we HAD a videographer!) but still captured every single perfect moment of our big day. I am honestly still in awe of how he accomplished this! After the wedding, Michael was more than willing to accommodate our honeymoon schedule and delayed production of the video so we could include all of our honeymoon footage. When the final product arrived, my husband and I were completely blown away. We had high expectations based on the samples we'd seen, but Michael even managed to exceed those - he truly went above and beyond to create a masterpiece of our wedding. His talent as a videographer is unparalleled (and I KNOW this because I vetted nearly 30+ videographers in my search!) and his passion for his craft is evident in the body of work he presents. We could not speak more highly of our experience with Joyful Video and I would recommend them to any bride!

Alls I can say is WOW! The video is far more then what I expected it to be! You got EVERYTHING. Didn't miss a beat! I cried 3 times and laughed million. Had a perma smile throughout the entire video!!! Michael and Jesse were so professional and so sweet! The best part is I didn't even know they were filming us the entire day and they didn't miss a single moment. Thanks to them I will never forget exactly what that day looked like. The quality of the video was perfect. They used all our major wedding songs and even did an adorable honeymoon montage towards the end. At the very end they did a fast recap of the entire video. Working with Michael & Jesse was so easy and their prices were amazing. We hardly knew that they were filming us! I love our DVD...they caught all the moments we knew we wanted and so many that we didn't even know about. Definitely worth it to work with them!

Michael and Jesse are absolutely incredible! The outcome of our wedding video was breath taking. We watched the video about 13 times when we first received it and every single time we laughed and I cried it was just amazing! Did I mention how they have payment plans to help? That was awesome because my husband and I were on a budget and the payment plan allowed us to make payments even after our wedding! Michael had our video to us in great time it took about two and a half months! It was here before our wedding photos! I just can't rave enough about how amazing Joyful Video is! They did our cousin's wedding back in 2008 and I fell in love with them! They also did our other cousin's wedding August 10th which I can't wait to see how it turns out. I looked at other videographers in comparison to Joyful Video and their quality was NOTHING like JV. We are so happy that we chose Michael and Jesse to do our wedding day and they made the most memorable video we will always cherish for the rest of our lives. I would reccomend Joyful Video to anyone looking for an incredible memory to look back on one of the best days of their lives because they capture every moment.

One of the best decisions I made for my wedding (besides marrying my groom, of course) was booking with Joyful Video. I absolutely LOVE our video. I hesitated at first because I wasn’t sure it was necessary. Well, almost two years later, the wedding video is my most prized possession from that day. I can’t count how many times I’ve watched it. Joyful Video literally captured every special moment (little kisses, whispers, and touches) what is even more amazing is that I didn’t even see them shooting during these intimate moments. I cannot recommend them high-enough. They are worth every cent and I would use them again in a heartbeat!!

The Video was amazing! The day goes by SO fast, and it is nice to have a video to really remember the whole feeling of the day.I told Mike my husband Mark really did not want video and we want to keep it as unobtrusive as possible. He said "If I have a video camera in my face I immediately stiffen up. We want people to feel comfortable and not realize we are even there" We were amazed by how they got such amazing footage but at the same time keeping the video camera out of our faces.
